Description of Work: INSIDE SHEETROCK REPAIR AND PAINT AND INSULATION. JAVIER WAS GOOD, KNOWLEDGEABLE BUT USED HELP WHO DID POOR WORK . HE DID FOLLOW UP TO REPAIR THEIR SLOPPY WORK. OUTSIDE BOARD REPLACEMENT AND PAINTING. AGAIN JAVIER KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING, BUT USED HELP THAT WAS SLOPPY AND DIDN'T DO A COMPLETE JOB WITHOUT BEING TOLD EVERY DETAIL. THEY MADE AND LEFT MESSES. I WOULD NOT USE HIM AGAIN.

Description of Work: I hired Javier on two separate occasions. The first was to hang 5 new doors, one of which required that the door be reversed to open from the left rather than the right. The original builder of my condo was horrible so nothing is square. Javier did an excellent job fixing all the issue so that all the new doors worked properly. He also had to reframe one of the doors to make it work properly and did an excellent job. Javier also carted away all the old doors so I did not have to deal with disposing them. On a second occasion, I hired Javier to install a 54" x 144" piece of art on 1/8" sheet of aluminum. It was a challenging project as the piece needed to fit perfectly against an unsquare wall so that it filled the entire space. Javier did a great job making sure the art wasn't damaged in the install and also ensuring that the walls in my bathroom were also not damaged. It worked out better than I had hoped thanks to Javier. I found Javier to be very professional and prompt and his pricing was very reasonable. I have used him twice already and will do so again in the future when needed.

Description of Work: Tile work. He has worked for me a number of times including painting total interior of rent houses. Am very impressed with his wide knowledge as a handyman. A true professional. One of the best I've worked with during my 50 years in rental properties.

Description of Work: Javier fixed some plumbing behind my dishwasher he had done years ago for me because the dishwasher would not fit all the way in. He came out on his own time and looked at it then came out again with his plumber to fix it. He charged me not a penny because it was preexisting on his part years ago when he ran my new piping. He built me a fancy carport that extended from my house, put a new roof on my house, and installed new pipes throughout my entire house. He has done many projects for my parents anything from building walls to fixing electrical problems and adding new. He is very handy and

Description of Work: Replaced shingles on roof of house and garage in his last visit. I started using Javier to do projects on my 1940 Heights house back in 2009. He has built a flagstone patio and front walk, replaced rotten wood, done wall repairs and repaired my roof. During Christmas 2011 I had my gas meter removed because of a leak. Quote to fix the leak was $12,000 dollars! I called Javier and he had his plumbing guys fix it for $900. Next on my list of things to do is a new fence, drywall, ceiling on my wrap-around porch, wood window repairs, rotten wood and siding replaced, kitchen floor redone and new counter tops. He has painted a friends house and done repairs at my daughters house. He is very dependable, does quality work and is the only person I will call when I need work done. I can leave him with a gate opener and know that while I'm at work he is responsible and trustworthy.

Description of Work: After having Javier and his crew out to build my backyard flagstone patio a year earlier I called on him again to build a front flagstone walkway from my drive to the front porch. Again, I got a high quality walk, quickly and without the stress of worrying if I had been over charged. He is dependable and the men that work for him are as well.

Description of Work: Javier has a company named Plladio's that does all carpentry projects big and small. He has built houses in the past from start to finish and can do anything. He told me he especially likes new construction, remodeling, additions from concrete to roof, putting in kitchens, baths, built ins, and porches. He does plans and design. He does all carpentry. He does both interior and exterior repairs and refinishing including floors, siding, roof, windows, doors, and drywall. For us he rebuilt three corners of our house where the siding had failed. Around a door he had to replace studs and in another wall he had to work on studs and the rafters. He was completely comfortable with stud repair, evaluating for termites, flashing, kick out flashing... I learned a lot from just talking to him. He knows construction inside out and I'd use him for any project at my house from additions to repairs, both inside and out.
