Description of Work: Completely redid our master suite bathroom

Description of Work: Removed all carpet and tile on first floor, installation of bamboo flooring on 1st floor, painted entire house interior walls, installed tile back splash in kitchen, took out florescent box lighting in kitchen and installed can lighting and two pendant lights, changed out brass lighting throughout the house and installed updated lighting fixtures. Take out Formica counter tops and replace with granite. Removed laminate flooring in two bathrooms and installed tile flooring. | |We removed all furniture from the 1st floor for them to remove and install flooring quickly. He arrived on time. He sub-contract the floor out to another person who installed 1800 sq. feet of flooring in about 3 days. The entire project took 6-7 days to complete. He did take out and removal of all items quickly and efficiently. | |The floor was not installed properly and there are a few places in the kitchen that the floor planks were not cut properly and are either splitting or left breaks between wall/cabinets and floor. Within a month the floor was separating. I called and he sent the floor installer back who pounded the floor back into place. Again the floor separated. I called again and he said that he would send the man again but never did. I kept calling for the next two months, but he will not answer the calls. I called the manufacturer who told me that expansion separators needed to be install to keep it from separating. I still have unfinished edges and a floor that continues to separate. | |The back splash in the kitchen is slightly off so that the diamonds do not match or come to a point. I was not impressed with the men he used to do the tile job. | |He only sent his painting team back once to complete the punch list of items that they missed, but the team only did half and said they would come back. They did not. | |I have tried to reach him by sending him letters and certified letters since he would not answer my calls, but they continue to be returned to me. | |He is a nice man, but very unprofessional with the work.
