Overall it went well. A couple of workers did some sloppy work, but after it was reported, they never came back and the work was redone.

He was refered to me by a friend who had them do a complete interior paint job. I contacted him fearing he would not want to do my small job. He personally came out to scope the job. We agreed on pricing and his crew was out the following week. They took extra care in protecting all the furniture and did an excellent job completing it all in 3 days. They were faced with having to match some unusual ceiling molding and had to travel to different suppliers to get what was needed. I asked the crew to run additional wired for telephone and internet while they were in the attic witch they did without any issues and while helping me determine exactly what I needed. I would not hesitate recommending them to anyone needing their services

The crew were very polite and neat. The paint on the walls went fine, and they did a good job. The MAJOR PROBLEM IS: they did NOT prep the wood surfaces before painting cabinets, doors, and window sills. Less than one month after they finished the job, I noticed a scratch on the door leading from the house into the garage. I took my fingernail and lightly went over the scratch, and the paint literally FLAKES OFF. Using my fingernail only, without breaking it, I popped off paint all the way across the door. I then went to other doors which his crew painted and using my nail, found that the fresh paint came off just as easily. I have since discovered that the surface should have been at the very least sanded and maybe primed as well. But neither was done. Now I have my entire kitchen cabinets, desk area, entertainment center, 5 doors, window sills, and baseboards that will need to be redone. I called Mr. Valencia's office right away and he sent a painter out. I showed him the door, plus the other areas I had found. He contacted Mr. Valencia immediately, and he assured me that it would be fixed. First the painters blamed it on the paint, so we took the paint to the Sherwin Williams store and asked if they had any complaints on the paint. They told me and the painters NO complaints. More communications, more painters to paint ONE DOOR. Each time the painters showed up, I showed them all the places where the paint was coming off. THEN THEY WOULD NOT ANSWER MY CALLS. Dec. 9, 2013, I sent Mr. Valencia a registered letter detailing my experience with his crew and communications with his office. I also gave him until 1/1/14 to respond with a more satisfactory solution than PAINTING ONE DOOR. To this date I have not heard one word from Mr. Valencia or his office. The only reason I do not rate him and and quot;Fand quot; is because the walls, and mailbox, turned out fine. Patricia Pickett

After giving us a timely and competitive quote, we advised Oscar of our impossible schedule to complete the work (we made a last minute decision to paint the entire home immediately after having new hard wood floors installed....yes, we did the work backwards!) We signed on the dotted line and were very impressed with their attention to our tight schedule, quality and overall professionalism. They did a fantastic job prepping prior to the job and clean-up afterward. I would highly recommend this painting company and will use them again in the future.

Let me just tell you.....having someone that covers your items and cleans up after themselves is BIG! We've decided Oscar is our guy! We have a business that we are getting started and we'll use Oscar for other projects.

Every day they began 8:00 am, worked all day through, cleaned areas daily leaving no rash, completed house in 3 day even as I requested additional adds. Very good and polite.

Overall the experience was very good. He priced very aggressively and was anxious to get his crews started as soon possible. They even did extra painting to items not in the bid, like the shed in my back yard, and painted it the same color as my house exterior. I did add on more work once I saw the good job they did and had them paint the garage and repair some sheetrock in there. They moved everything out of the garage to the shed in the back yard at no extra charge. The only area of improvement I would mention is the crew could have cleaned up better and I would have appreciated seeing Mr. Valencia onsite during the week they were in and out of my house. I have been traveling and unable to have them come back to clean or touch up some areas, but plan to schedule this soon.

Oscar Valencia and his team of painters are the very best my wife and I ever used. Plus I love that no payment is required until we were 100% satisfied. They we're on time, finished ahead of schedule, and after completing the job left our home like they were never there. They really cared about their work. I highly recommend Oscar Valencia to anyone looking for quality at very reasonable prices.

The experience was excellent. The quality of the work and the quality of the service stood out. They finished quickly. It looked really good when they were done.

The first day, the painting quality was very good with 5 painters. Days two and three they sent two painters and we had a number of quality issues:- The painters splattered paint on two comforters and they completely ruined one pillow sham with paint.- We had numerous paint spots on the carpet (5 in the upstairs office, 2 in the hallway, 2 in the bedroom, 1 in the game room)- After the fact, when we were cleaning up a few things (we saw some paint splatter on electrical outlets, can lights in the ceiling and the air vents) we found that they had not removed these items before painting as noted in the contract. (They had removed them downstairs). It took us hours to remove all the fixtures, clean them with acetone, and paint under the fixtures as should have been done.- The ceiling in the upstairs office and game room were streaked and paint coverage was not good. They were to have painted two coats but clearly they did not . We called them and asked them to come look at the two rooms. This did not happen so we sent pictures and they agreed the ceilings needed to be repainted and there were other areas that needed significant touch up. It took them almost two weeks to return because they said they were busy with other jobs. On two occassions they promised to show up, no one appeared. We had to call them daily and tell them repeatedly our job should come first since it was not done correctly and finally they returned to our house to finish the job.- They did not take all of our wood blinds out and only painted one coat in the window area so they all needed to be repainted. There was a significant amount of paint splatter (20 plus spots) on a number of our good wood blinds.- One of our upstairs bathrooms had so much paint spatter on the tub/shower area, toilet, and cabinets, it took us more than 20 minutes to clean it up with acetone and a razor blade.- We bought very good quality Behr Ultra paint. In certain rooms, they thinned it way too much (even though they were using rollers, not a sprayer) so the coverage was not consistent. The bottom line, they did a good job downstairs where we could see what they were doing. When you weren't around or they thought you wouldn't notice, they did a very sloppy job. Although it appeared they were covering everything up with plastic, it must have been done very quickly and sloppy as evidenced by the amount of paint on our carpets, blinds, and other items. For professional painters, I would expect the crew boss to do a walk through and make sure a quality job was done. When we had so many issues and the pictures we sent to their office showed so many problems (which they agreed was true), I would have expected Mr. Valencia to come look at the problem and ensure that it was quickly remedied. None of this occurred.

It went very well. It's always hard having so many people in your home for 10 days, but they were really wonderful!

I am getting ready to take him to court, because he walked off the job and did not complete the project. They have a good reputation. My experience with them was poor. The communication with the company was poor. I don't speak Spanish and they didn't have anyone there who spoke English. Their understanding of English was poor. I just sent them an email today asking them to come back, and they said they were 100% complete. The contract says they were going to add sockets and trim and it's never been painted. The price was higher was above average. The quality of their work was good.

This company gave a free, very accurate and detailed estimate and performed the work well and in a timely manner. The prep was very good for the job. The only thing I could say is that there was a little clean up missed at the end _ paint spots on screws of electrical plates when replaced and they did not rehang a huge roller shade. I had used them in the past and that is why I used them this time. Mine was not a routine job and I got what I expected. Compared to other bids this was among the most reasonable but it's the detail of the bid I liked, including any warnings about results of the job.

They are consistent: consistently polite, consistently do the job and the price is consistently under the competitors. As a handyman service, they do what they promise.

He was very nice and very professional. We put the project on hold because we had a child going into college and we didn't have the money to do it but his price was very reasonable. He has a pretty good reputation around here.

We were concerned about using this company because of the past reviews. However, they came recommended by a friend so we thought we would risk it. Andres, the project estimator, was prompt and polite. As we walked through the house, he offered suggestions to make the house look better and save us money. I was impressed by the courtesy and politeness of the crew. They came when they said they would and worked diligently for the time they were here. Before they painted/stained they covered everything. They communicated well, making sure they understood what we wanted. Unfortunately, when they removed the 6 foot mirror, a corner cracked. Andres told me not to worry that they would rectify the situation and he did. What surprised me is that they did more than they were asked and left my home clean. The work they did was top quality! No doubt that we will use their services again. ** We have used their services two more times since this first experience. These guys are the best! Best prices, best service!

with the exception of the fact that they used R13 in the ceiling and denied it, but we had pictures so they admitted and fixed and that Oscar was out of town and not available (very frustrating) the outcome was a nice job. I would use again, but be home to watch the materials they use. I want to ask them what kind of sheet rock they used now,due to the China toxic material but have not had response not will it trust the answer due to the R13 episode.

They painted over tape, did not caulk or sand. The work was not completed. He did not honor the contract and it cost us an additional $1800 because they did not use drop cloths. They said they wouldn't use them because we were going to get new floors. The flooring company came later and told us because of the condition of the floor there would be an extra charge (that $1800). Oscar said he was not responsible for the floor even though his people messed it up. I would never ever recommend him to anyone.

The painting looks good and they were flexable when we changed some colors, but charged additional when this required repainting. They started the job neatly, covering all floors and furniture, but got very sloppy the last few days as they rushed to finish. They broke one bathroom mirror and damaged another. They also broke a ceiling fan. We never saw the owner until they were finished and he didn't take any time to inspect for errors. We spent two full days cleaning up.

They did a wonderful job of painting. They were very neat and orderly. There was little mess considering what a job they had to do. They installed drop cloths and were very detail oriented in the corners and where the ceiling and walls meet. There was no odor from the paint and they had an enormous range of paints to choose from. The house looks great and we couldn't be happier.

They did excellent work. They had lots of choices to choose from, as far as colors go. The painter was a great guy. He used high quality paint, left no mess, drips, or smudges. His pricing wasn't cheap, but reasonable for his service. I have used him for several projects around the home.
