 + -1 moreI hired Orkin over a year ago so do regular treatments, they say they will come back if you need them too but they never do, they call to set up an apt don't show up, when they come to your house don't ring the doorbell so they just do outside. I was frustrated the whole time I had them, I'm finally out of contract with them and trying to find someone new.

 + -1 moreWe live in a difficult area and I know it's challenging to control pests. However, they offer a service and come back and treat on a routine schedule, but the services don't seem to be effective. The technician was very kind and polite, the people in the office are also pleasant, when they answer the phone. I would not want to use them again. Please be skeptical if you use them!
Description of Work: I hired Orkin (Pearland) to help deal with a problem with Ants. They came out and treated the outside and inside of the house once and things improved. Then continued to come back and treat the outside, but since I work during the day, they did not come into the house. Frankly, I didn't see any change in the amount of ants no matter what they did. I called once to ask for additional service and my call was never returned. I called again to have the technician come out and treat inside the house. They agreed to have him here at 8 AM. He arrived at 10 and when I asked about the time, he said that the office scheduled visits, but that they did not consult him to make sure it would work with his other customers. He came in and sprayed however, within 24 hours, the ants were back. They charge about $100 every few months to treat the outside. When I had to ask the technician to come back to treat the inside of the house, they charged me another $100, even though it was only a week later than their last visit.

 + -1 moreThey were really good. They were very helpful and I didn't need them to come back out because it wasn't an issue. They didn't charge me because it was a free assessment of service. They looked over the issues carefully and explained to me what possible things to look out for. They told me if I had those issues to call them back. They gave me peace of mind.

 + -1 moreThey were very thorough. This was the first time I was using them so there was a lot of paper work to do. They were very thorough in explaining exactly what they would do, when they would do and what to look out for. I got a discount, they gave me a mosquito plan and took $50 off of that so I only paid $25 for that. Then, the regular first trip is supposed to be for $139 but I got it for $89. I think their prices are reasonable because I have had other services before. For the level of service they give I think they are pretty reasonable. The quality of their service is excellent and they were right in time.

 + -1 moreThey do a five-foot barrier around the house. Otherwise, we only do twelve inches. If we see anything between services, they will come out to redo the work. They have been very service-oriented and responsive to any of my questions.
