We had a house full of people for the weekend when we noticed our upstairs unit was not cooling. We called and they came out in a few hours. We called Optimal because my son had used them before and was very happy with the service. It was the weekend so they assessed that the best thing to do is to charge the system and see how things go after reviewing the operation of the units. Then they charged the one that was working as well since the lines were not the temperature expected. That saved us! So grateful for the quick response. They came back a week later to do a follow up check on the systems. All was working well. The conclusion seems to be that the installers of the system did a minimal charge of the systems and we might have had a very small leak too small to find. Both units working better than ever now. We are so grateful for the repair and not to be up-sold and expensive repair that is not needed. Very honest and capable people. We are very thankful to have found them.

AWESOME!!! Joe and the rest of the team at Optimal Air Solutions are GREAT! Our upstairs unit stopped cooling the house and they came out to check and give us a quote. They performed a thorough inspection of the unit, including leak detection and provided us with photos of what was found. They then provided several options and quotes, and answered every question we had. In the end, they installed a new unit (inside and out)_ for the upstairs at a competitive price and premium service. We also signed up for their maintenance program (something I never do) because the value was very good. During their inspection of our old downstairs unit, they said that it looked good and that it could last 5 years, or it could die next month....in either case, we will be calling Optimal Air again for our HVAC needs.

Excellent service. I was kept up to date with arrival details. Joey was informative and was able to save us some money by pointing out a few quick fixes we could easily take care of ourselves. They fixed the problem efficiently. They are now my go-to HVAC service guys.

Technicians showed up when they were suppose to, adjusted freon levels and system has been working fine all day. Very professional and knowledgeable. Explained everything in detail. Polite and presentable too. I will definitely use them again!

Wow, the guys from Optimal Air Solutions did a wonderful job. They arrived on time and immediately went to work inside & outside of my house. Eric explained to me what was happening during the whole process and gave me updates on all the questions I asked; they were done after 5 - 6 hours, took away all of the old equipment, cleaned up around the new equipment and vacuumed my house were the insulation blew through the newly reinstalled vents. My new A/C works great! 100% satisfaction, I have and will continue to recommend these guys! Joe Stidham, one of the owners, even was able to get me a CenterPoint rebate that I didn't even know was available...these guys do everything they can to make their customers happy!

The team at Optimal Air was fantastic. Joey came out right on time to give us an estimate on the work. He was quick, professional, and friendly and gave us a fair quote. The next day I called and scheduled the work for the following Monday. Eric and his team of installers were great. They arrived on time Monday morning with smiles ready to work. Eric introduced me to all of the members of his crew. They were all professional and courteous even with my giant lab barking at them every time they walked through the door. They covered the floor and stairs and even vacuumed when they were done. The work looks really great! My daughter came home from school and went to her room upstairs (which has stayed warm no matter what we tried before) and she immediately noticed the difference in temperature. She said we should hire Optimal Air for all our future AC work. My husband and I completely agree!

I contacted them about their Angie's List Special and they were there within 2 days. The Tech was awesome, he thoroughly inspected my Heating and cooling units and changed the filter. Unfortunately he discovered that the installers of my 2 year old AC unit did not connect a drainage pipe and the entire interior of the unit had rusted. He stayed late and connected the pipe for a few dollars more. Great service for a Great price!

Optimal Air provided great service and installed a great Heatpump HVAC system including new duct work, UV light on coils to kill mold, highest quality air filtration system and four zones. I had five estimates and these were the most responsive to my needs and provided a price that was reasonable.

We are extremely happy with the service we received from Optimal Air Solutions. They scheduled our appointment quickly, came on-time, the work was done within the timeframe they said and for the amount quoted. Would highly recommend!

I had interviewed 4 HVAC contractors to replace the Existing heater. Optimal was very competitive in price, but were not the cheapest. Hired on the basis of website reviews, quality of the product offered, and a good recommendation from a general contractor that had to use them before. I ordered it on Tuesday, and it was installed by Thursday afternoon. The work took approximately two hours to complete. They were about 20 minutes late showing up, but explain they were held up finishing another job, and I would always want a contractor to do quality work rather than just rush a job through. The installer was a Trane certified trained hvac mechanic. The work was done quickly, and efficiently, and they cleaned up after them selves. Overall a very satisfying experience.

Everything from start to finish was done with the utmost professionalism and quality. Everyone involved in the project was fantastic.

They spent additional trips to resolve the issue at no additional charges. The heating system is now working great. Steve Finley, one of the Owners, solved the mystery, and I want to thank him personally for a great job done.

Not helpful. I guess the joke is on us because we aren't electricians or AC/Heating people. I'm scratching my head at this new "phase" of customer service where you receive a one-liner explanation VIA TEXT message about a part for the AC handler unit we own that is no longer being made by the manufacturer. So....I guess that's that then...no estimate and no work will be done here (or at least they won't be doing it is what I was supposed to gather from that text message...right??) I'm wondering if this is a "millennial" thing. Whatever it is; I don't appreciate it.

Reid S. arrived promptly at the appointment time. He was very pleasant and professional. Quite frankly I was expecting to need a new A/C unit as mine is 13 yrs old. After a very thorough check of both the outside unit and the fan, etc. in the attic. I was told that one part had gone bad. He quickly replaced it and rechecked the entire unit again. When I asked if he had any other recommendations, he stated that he had none at this time. He answered all of my questions and concerns. My house had already started cooling down before he left. I was very impressed and pleased with the service from Optimal Air Solutions and have already recommended them to a friend. I will definitely call them again for all of my A/C and heating needs.

Great! Reid even installed a new piece on the pvc piping to use for preventative maintenance and explained what to do and how to do it.

Small issue otherwise I would have given ALL A's. I had had bad experience with a different hvac company, $800 later and they said it would be another $1800 to complete. I found Optimal on Angie’s list, I called at 530p explained that I needed second opinion, and at 930a the following day Reid was at the house for inspection and a free estimate, he determined the issue, explained it clearly to us, gave us price of $1575. We scheduled the work for the following week (the delay was our request). The crew arrived on time and completed the installation. A senior tech came in and they went through the system, determined all was well, collected the payment and left. Within 2 hours of their leaving the dampers weren't working correctly in fact one thermostat was set at 74 and the temp went down to 68. We called the first tech Reid and told him we needed someone immediately to come out and get this corrected. I was actually scared this was beginning of nightmare. But they immediately sent the senior tech back out at 615pm - he went through the system again and said that he adjusted placement of the sensors and we should have no further problems. It has been a week and all is operating perfectly in Sugar Land's 110F heat index . So bottom line, I feel the only issue was particular to our case, we should have been told that the sensors might need adjusted placement. But this is small glitch in otherwise stellar customer service, and pricing. I gave it B in quality ONLY for that reason. I will continue to use Optimal Air Solutions for all my hvac needs.

Optimal Air Solutions was great coming out and diagnosing our AC issues. They didn't try to upsell us at all and even tried everything they could to keep our old system going before it totally stopped working. The system was super old and we knew at some point we would need to replace it. They wasted no time coming out to install the new system. They covered all floor space with drop cloths inside our home and cleaned up after themselves when they were done. The owner came out to review the job and it's been working really well since. We will continue to use Optimal Air Solutions for all of our HVAC needs.
