Description of Work: My part was covered under a warranty I had purchased so there was no charge. A great thing when it comes to heating/cooling in Texas! Very professional and even made some other fixes that were not covered and I was not charged.

Description of Work: This was one of my semi-annual contracted service check-ups. I have used this company for many years and have always had a high level of service. They have always stood behind their work and if there ever was a problem they immediately took action to make it right.

Description of Work: Looked at heater/four ace that was blowing cold air. They were more than an hour late for the first appointment and after reminding them of their offer didn't charge me. When they left the heater was working then stopped again a second time so I called them back and they charged a service call but couldn't figure out what was wrong. Turns out the breaker was bad. I ended up paying a maintenance guy from work who diagnosed the problem and fixed it.

Description of Work: Work was done under our annual maintenance agreement. They serviced our gas furnace for winter. The tech drained lines, check combustion chamber, check gas ignition, check static pressure, checked filter, to name a few of the items, also he checked upstairs Honeywell controller as I asked him to check. He furnished his report which has 84 items on it approximately 40 pertain to the furnace which he checked and marked either pass, concern or fail. The service technician was very knowledgeable and professional. One Hour technicians always come in uniform and have the latest equipment. I rate them the best in the A/C business.

Description of Work: The only reason this company earned a grade as high as C from me is that they did honor their on-time guarantee. The young tech arrived on time the first day, to see why our AC unit was leaking inside the house. (We thought it was a drain clog.) He was friendly and professional, but didn't seem to be as knowledgeable as he should have been, to be working alone. He took the front from the unit inside, and in the process broke a switch. He then said that the broken switch was the causing the leak, and that it would cost $171 to replace. | |He plugged the broken PVC pipe and told us it might drip a little, and that he would be back the next day between 930 and 1030 AM, writing that on our receipt. The drip got worse. At 1130 AM, we called the company dispatch and were told that the tech was out on another call. When he did call in, he called us and said that his job was to go out on the call that the dispatcher gave him, and said that when he called in our appointment, they hadn't written it down. They said he hadn't called it in. | |I spoke to the supervisor, and insisted they get someone to our house ASAP. The young tech arrived a few hours later, and said the leak was caused by a collapse in our drain pipe, and that we needed a pump installed, at a cost of almost $1000. I called and asked for another tech, and a more-experienced tech came out. He quickly diagnosed the problem - a stubborn clog in our drain pipe, just as we had originally suspected and said. | |The drain was unclogged and the broken switch was replaced, both at no charge, in keeping with the company's one-time guarantee. I greatly appreciated that they did honor that, without my having to make further calls. But, in spite of their name, they do not send a tech within an hour, and their appointment windows are two hours, and they do not always arrive on time. They do have an on-time guarantee, (we're on time or you don't pay,) and apparently they do honor it, but they sent out an inexperienced tech by himself, he was late the next day, and caused a lot of anxiety, before repairing a simple, common problem.
