Description of Work: Contracted for cabinet repair/repainting/hinge replacements plus some covering of wallpaper with paint. Workers arrived on time. At the time was declared finished by the crew, we noticed poor workmanship in painting (drips, visible poorly aligned brush marks, etc...), mars in wood not removed due to poor/no sanding, incorrect installation of hinges, and more. We do not want the same team of painters in our house again. A subcontractor has agreed to redo/complete the original painting/carpentry after the holidays. At that point, we will pay the amount due on the bid.

Within 48 hours a crew arrived at my home and matched the paint and did a great, profession and very detailed paint job. I will definitely use again. The had to be in the house to do the work and I felt completely comfortable leaving a key in a lock box (arranged by One Call) so they could have access to windows, etc. Working with Kyle, Gary, and Chris from the estimate process to the final walk through was great - they were very responsive to additional requests as the job progressed. The work done was outstanding from the painting to the window restoration and new French doors. The window restoration was done onsite and was excellent.
Description of Work: Restored double hung wood windows (rebuilt window sash and window sills) and panted & caulked exterior trim that included divided light wood windows and 9 - 8ft columns and trellis. Also, replaced French doors with a new unit that had to be retro fitted into an existing unit with a transom.

+ -1 morePoorly. They arrived late, quoted me 5-6 hours to do the job, and took a break 1.5 hours into the job. They told me they were taking a 30 minute break and didn’t return for over an hour and only after I called them to see what the holdup was. While at the house, they bickered with each other like two grumpy old men and consistently made obvious remarks to me about the drapes or windows that had nothing to do with what they were supposed to do which has hanging rods. Would never hire them again. I’d pay quadruple for better service.
Description of Work: I needed 13 rods hung...which they said would take 30 minutes per rod with two people present.

Description of Work: I hired Kyle Pentecost to research hurricane shutters on my home. He wanted a signed contract and payment up front. He seemed to be interested in the project initially and said he could definitely help me. Then, he drug his feet for several months without making any contacts with the historical landmark commission on my behalf to get approvals for hurricane shutters for which he was contracted. I was 90% of the time (100% after the first month) the one who had to call him for project status/updates. When I did, it was always "this week I am going to do this step or that step" and then when I contacted him the next week again just a repeat of the previous week - he had a "check is in the mail" attitude. He did not deliver the work, or the "check" and I have requested to be reimbursed my money for a job he did not peform and now literally, I have never rececived payment or the service that I paid for nor have I received the service that I paid for.
