We were scheduled for an 8:30 am appointment. He called at 8:15 am to advise us that he was running a little late and it would be about 25 minutes before he would arrive. He arrived when he said he would and got right to work. The job took 1 hour to complete. He did not waste any time, but took the time he needed to get it right. I had guess the all in cost would be $250, low an behold it came to $252. I will definitely use Nick's plumbing again and I would ask for Jimmy.

Our main water pipe sprung a major leak on Sunday in the front yard. I had to shut the water off at the street. I called Nick's on Monday morning about 8:20 am (called my other plumber first, but all I got was the answering service). The lady at Nick's office said they would come between 9am and noon. They were there about 9:00. They quoted $750M, spent an hour and a half and had it fixed. Left the yard in good shape. Very professional.

James Click provided the services. I scheduled the appointment the day before (and Nick's Plumbing offered to send out a technician that day, but I was unable that day), and the time was scheduled for anytime between 10 and 1. James called shortly after 10 and informed me that he would be there within 20 minutes, which he was. He quickly climbed into the attic, determined the leak was from the AC, recommended a course of action, and then asked for other problems. He responded to two other issues I had -- a thumping in the water pipes (which we resolved after a short discussion) and replacement of a toilet handle (which he also quickly replaced). He completed all services within 20 minutes. I would definitely seek the services of Nick's Plumbing again, and request particularly James.

We were very pleased with our service from Nick's plumbing! We called and they were able to come within a few hours of our call. The service technician was very friendly and professional and fixed most of our issues within a short time period with a very fair price. When he left we had one small leak from a broken part in our faucet that he said was under warranty and that we should take it back to the store we bought it from. The next morning he called and said another customer was replacing their faucet and had the exact part we needed. He brought us the part with no additional charge and our faucet was as good as new! He went above and beyond and we were thrilled with his desire to do an excellent job! We will definitely use Nick's plumbing again!

I felt entirely confident from beginning to end in working with Robert from Nick's Plumbing. Their pricing was fair and they Robert was very professional and courteous, and he took a great deal of time to explain the process by which he would replace the drain pipe. Lisa in the office was also incredibly wonderful -- and I appreciate their personal approach in working with their clients. She was incredibly helpful and made the experience equally pleasant. I would call them again for any of my plumbing needs.

They arrived about 4:00 P.M. which was good. They took my old water heater out, and they put a new water heater in with a warranty which took about a hour. They replaced the metal piping which needed replacing, and they cleaned up after themselves. I paid with my Discover card, and they thanked me for my business, and they left. The work was very good, professional, and very fast. I'm very happy with their services. I was so impressed with their work that I stood there looking at the water heater for a few minutes taking in the excellent workmanship performed.

They came out promptly on a Saturday, didn't charge us extra, arrived on time and we were all fixed! They were quick, call back extremely fast - and we've had no trouble with the toilet since they worked on it!

I scheduled an 8am call and these guys were at my door at 8am sharp. They quickly got to work, were professional, neat and finished within the hour. When I called to schedule the appointment, they actually gave me a quote (no games, only good service). I will definitely use these guys for bigger projects.

They were courteous when they were in my house. They did a good job and did it in a good amount of time. I think they were reasonable. It was an emergency situation, and I got them pretty quick. They showed up when they said they were going to show up. They cleaned up after themselves.

They came and gave me some advice so I could fix the problem myself. They didn't charge me anything for that so I was pretty happy with that.

Went great. Rapid response to my inquiry. Plumber came out same day. Stems had to be ordered, which he did, and then came back in two days to install. This smaller company and its personal service was greatly appreciated. Price was half of what other companies quoted. We will use this company again!

I was able to get an appointment when I wanted one a couple of days after I called. They called before they came and arrived on time. The two plumbers seemed to know what they were doing and what parts they needed. The part for the old commode was one which could have been very difficult to find. James knew exactly where to go for it. I had been very concerned that no one would be able to find a part and I would be in for a huge expense since the tile under the existing commode is no longer available. If the commode had needed to be replaced, I would have either do a "patch" job or get all new tile. The other toilet needed to have the flapper and handle replaced. The men completed the job and I paid them using a coupon from Angie's List for a discount!

It took them a while to unclog the sink. They had to use the snake. He took the filter off the top of the faucet but he did not replace it. I was disappointed with that. I know it was by oversight. I called them and asked them if they would bring us another filter but they did not call me back. I just let it go. The work was okay. The only problem was that they did not replace the filter. It was not lying around so it must have gotten thrown away. I would have replaced it myself if I had it. I think they were expensive.

I had an unusual issue that I just couldn't solve on my own. There was this aweful smell in my kitchen area. I cleaned and searched and found nothing. So I got fed up and called Nick's Plumbing. They completely understood and took the time out to hear my issue. They sent a tech out the same day who found a dead rat in my attic that was causing the horrible smell in the kitchen. In less then 30 minutes I couldn't believe it! I know this is a big deal for me and they were the perfect guys for the job. Thanks Nick's Plumbing!

Project didn't go far. Receptionist took a message, but they never phoned back. I hired someone not on your list and got the work done on Saturday.

The faucet is over sixty years old, and he was able to repair it without damaging it or the wall behind it.

All went smoothly and I was very concerned that all of the underneath pipes would have to be replaced. I had to move my gas meter from the yard to the front of the house because I will be building a garage apartment there. A representative from Nick's Plumbing came the house for an estimate and gave me a 3 hour window and showed up on time. His name was Richard Saad. He explained the procedures of what I needed to do and explained the process: call the utility company to disconnect the main line from the meter. Once that was done the plumbing company would obtain a city permit, have the lines inspected for leaks and leave it ready so that the gas company can re attach the gas meter (this procedure is mandated by city codes). My house was built in 1920 and the pipes were updated sometime after that, I'm sure. I bought the house in 2003. He was honest that there was the possibility of replacing some pipes underneath--I have a peer and beam bungalow--a leak was found in the valves inside the house. There was a lot of "detective" work to find the leaks. I felt that the plumber did all he could so that all the pipes would not have to be replaced. He performed the work up to code and passed city inspection. The extra effort saved me a lot of money, which I appreciated it so much. If he was a doctor, I would say that his bedside manners were superb--he was personable and educational in his demeanor. I am very thankful in the company's values and the knowledge of what comes from of word of mouth.

I telephoned Nick's Plumbing with an emergency problem, all toilets in my house were not working. They sent a plumber out right away, but he arrived at my house before the scheduled time, came in while my house was open and painters were working on a remodeling job and left before I got home at the scheduled time. He could not have been in my house for more than 10 minutes. I telephoned the company and left a message for him. When Richard called back, he said he did not know what was wrong, that he would have a meeting with another plumber in the morning and all would be fixed by the end of the week. I never heard back from him. I chose to find someone else. I would never call this plumber again.
