Phone service was prompt and helpful. Guys arrived on time. Covered their shoes. Very professional. Knew what the problem was immediately - A/C line hooked up to sink. They had parts in their truck for the bath tub which was great. Got both jobs fixed in one trip. Delighted with the service - will definitely use again and highly recommend to friends.

Crew did good job and stayed on project until finished. Very satisfied with results.

I noticed that my kitchen faucet was leaking so I called Nick's expected to have to replace it. Guest bathroom toilet was also not operating properly. Nicks came and and fixed both.

The technician did not appear interested in performing the services offered in the special. I had to request everything listed and he would state that the service should not be performed since it would create further problems. For example, he could not flush hot water heater because of the age of the hot water heater. He did not perform the listed services without my request. I felt as though it was a complete waste of time and money. I had to request that he check outside water source.

Nick's responded quickly when the plumbing in our Height's bungalow was backed up due to tree roots breaking the sewer/kitchen lines in the backyard. Within a few days, everything had been repaired and Nick's even matched the price of a competitor. Shortly thereafter, we noticed problems (slumping ground etc.) where the work had taken place. Nick's immediately returned to diagnose the situation and re-did the entire job free of charge. My wife and I were thoroughly impressed by Richard and Meredith's responsiveness, integrity and personal attention to our problem. We are now buying a second house in the Heights and Nick's will be the plumber of choice. Pick Nick's; you won't be disappointed.

I called yesterday to find out how soon they could come out and they were here at 8am this morning. The gentleman arrived on time, was polite, friendly and well groomed. Immediately upon inspecting the leak he observed that the original plumbing had used a galvanized valve which was likely the cause of the corrosion and leaks. When asked he stated that it was a simple repair and quoted me a price (the actual price was slightly less). All in all the repairs took less than 30 minutes from start to finish and I am very pleased with the results. While I'd love to have spent less money (who doesn't) considering my water heaters are in my attic, I can't afford to wait or have the job done incorrectly and risk water damage to the entire house. I'm definitely calling Nick's Plumbing next time I need work done.

I am having an issue with an excessively high water bill after the city did construction on our street. I called Nick's as they were highly rated here on Angie's List. My appointment was professionally scheduled and Charlie and Nathan, the two technicians called me well in and advance to let me know when they would be there. They were punctual and very professional. They determined there was no leak and gave me a lot of great information about my situation. And, they didn't charge me! Amazing! I likely will need a plumber to take a look at my house soon, and I won't hesitate to call Nick's again.

There was nothing that really stuck out. I guess they were about average. They were very punctual; they showed up about 5 or 10 minutes prior to the appointment time. They finished the work in less time than they said it would take; so that’s always a bonus.

Wonderful response time. Gerald diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed the issue quickly. I felt the price was fair for the level of service received. I will definitely use them again.

I live in a three story townhouse. My hot water heater is in the attic. Nick's quoted me prices for both a tankless heater and a traditional heater. To install the tankless heater I would also have had to hire a carpenter to build a mounting wall and create an exhaust system. Due to cost and time requirements I chose the traditional option. It was going to be very difficult to replace the existing tank due to the size and opening space available. The service man spent a great deal of time on the phone locating a tank that would fit through the attic opening then drove over an hour one way to pick it up. Nick's was teh second company to assess the situation. The first company told me the ONLY option was a tankless system and was not willing to put in the extra effort to meet my needs. I was very impressed with eh professionalism and the customer service attitude. The job was completed timely and well.

Josh was the technician who came out. I thought that he was knowledgeable.

My garbage disposal quit working so I called Nick's to see if they could replace it the same day since it was Friday before a long holiday weekend, and i did not want to wait 4 days to get it repaired. They said they could do it the same day. I told them exactly the type/brand/model of disposal i wanted and asked if they could give me an estimate of the cost over the phone. They said it would be $650, and even though this seemed rather high, i had previous experience with Nick's and knew that they did good work, and i needed to get the disposal repaired that day, so I agreed. They gave me a time slot of 10 am to 1 pm. They arrived around 11 am and completed the work in less than an hour. The quality of the work done was excellent, the installer was courteous, professional, and competent, and the work area was cleaned up thoroughly before he left. My only complaint was that the cost for the work seemed excessively high. I learned after the work was completed that i could have purchased the disposal at one of the big box hardware stores for under $250, which means that i paid about $400 for an installation that took less than an hour. The invoice just showed a flat rate of $650 for the work, with no breakdown into the parts, labor, and tax components. It was as if this was a flat negotiated price, but I failed to do my part and negotiate for the best deal. Bottom Line: Nick's does good work, but their prices are high. Next time i need plumbing work done I will make every effort to get 2 or 3 estimates from Angie's-approved plumbers before making a decision.

Very well. They arrived on time, operated quickly but in a quality fashion, were courteous and professional, and cleaned up the work area thoroughly before the left.

Very prompt but costly. It was a temporary fix though but I ended up having to use another company around March because the plumbing problem hadn't been fixed.

I called in the morning, and they were able to schedule a plumber to come out the same day in the afternoon. He evaluated the situation, and explained there were 2 possible solutions. The first, for $165 involved using a chemical treatment to clear the drains, and if that wasn't effective, he could use a pipe snake and that would cost about $100 additional. With my approval, he promptly began the work, and was in fact able to clear the drains within a short time just using the chemical. When finished, he called me to demonstrate the sinks were now draining properly. The entire job was completed in only about 30 minutes, and the charge of $165 seemed somewhat high for such a short task. Considering all factors, however - the quick response, the trip expense, the plumbers professionalism, friendly attitude, and successful resolution of the problem, I consider it a good investment and am very pleased with the results. I will definitely call Nick's Plumbing again next time service is needed.

They were not able to do the flush but they were able to inspect our system. The service was great. They knew what they were doing. They could not do this due to the age of the hot water heater.

Price estimate given by Nick's plumbing was astronomically high. $225 to replace an old tap ($20 for parts and $175 per hour for one-man labor charge). Total ripoff. Eventually, I saw a youtube video and figured out how to replace the tap myself !Never in my life will I hire Nick's plumbing for $175/hr basic plumbing charge.

Overall the interaction was professional and pleasant. After speaking with their representative, I decided to hold off on the repairs. The price of the repairs seemed to be on the high side of fair, and they wanted to enroll me in a "Platinum Protection Plan" for a discount of the cost of the program. This part of the discussions felt like a "used car" sales pitch, but seemed reasonable.

GREAT SERVICE! I have called Nick's plumbing service twice for my needs. Both times I have had amazing customer service and really enjoyed working with the servicemen. The first time they fixed my dishwasher and it was very reasonable (I don't remember the charge) and the second time, was around our bathroom. They told me it was actually the way it was being used not the plumbing. I love that I can trust them to tell me the truth and not come and find work that needs to be done. I trust them 100% and there is no price you can associate with that! I will definitely call you next time I have a need.

The estimate given was three times the estimate the next company gave and the estimator said they would have to cut a hole in the sheet rock and dig a hole under my house to complete the repairs. The company I chose did neither of those things and fixed the problems perfectly.

Removed old water heater and installed a new one. (About $1100.00.) The new one stopped working and they returned to fix it. An electrical short was the culprit. They replaced some of the wiring. The installer also did research on a potential water leak from an unknown source. I was impressed with the time he spent and the experience he brought to the task. Eventually, on another visit, it was confirmed that the source was the old water heater. All of this activity involved several trips to my house. The woman in the office who scheduled the appointments was very accommodating and helpful.

It went really well. He was really nice. He even left to get a part and he came back. He did a good job and he did it really fast. I don't know how to grade the price because I am not sure how much something like that costs.

The man was neatly dressed and polite. He explained what he was going to do. He was professional and didn't take long. He also cleaned up when he was finished. The price was also reasonable. He was also prompt with the service. Overall I was very pleased. I would consider calling them again and recommend them.

Service tech came and looking at the issue and provided a quote. He was a native English speaker so there was no communication issues. After accepting the quote, he performed the work in about an hour. He also added some insulation to prevent future freezes. Service was quick and professional. I definitely would recommend again.
