Natran Green Pest Control

Natran treated our house for the first time. Since we have dogs in the house it was important to us to try the "Green" approach. Their field technician was extremely cordial and explained the product and the service. We are very pleased.

They did not show up at the appointed time, when I called to see where they were, I was told that they were put me on the schedule for the next day. This caused a problem due to work to be performed was at another location. People on the phone were very rude, and their service did not kill the bugs, I did my own pest control treatment with store bought pest control solutions and took care of the problem myself after the 2 weeks they said it would take to kill the bugs.

It took longer because I wanted to trap him humanely. However, he was too small to trip the larger trap and too small for the smaller trap. In the end, a snap trap was used. After the first day, I realized he was too small to trip the traps left with us. I called the salesman twice - once by cell phone and then by leaving a message with his office. He never returned the calls. The man sent out to close up our outer entry points showed up and left without saying much and we had no idea if he had actually done the work. He had not finished. Finally, a very astute tech was sent out to take over the job. He worked with my husband sealing entry points outside and set the snap traps. The rat was killed that night. This tech was very detailed, professional and deft. This process sadly took 3 weeks. Some of the time was due to my insistence that it be a live trap. But 2 weeks went by before we actually got an on-the-ball tech out to finish the project. The fact that the original salesman never returned my calls is cause for concern. Phone calls from my husband got some action. Take from that what you will. I will still use them in the future because they exterminate with eco-friendly substances and I have many pets. We will request the tech that did the job right.

They were very good at correcting a previous issue

They had to come back a second time, but it was under the warranty. They came out right away, no problems.

My husband took off early from work because our appointment was for 3:00. After approximately 2 hours of waiting, we called and were told the technician was running late. He finally arrived about 5:45 at which time my husband could have worked his full day and been home in time to meet him without taking time off. A courtesy phone call to let us know he was running late before 3pm would have been greatly appreciated. My husband was very irritated. Once he arrived, the trap was set and we made an appointment for them to return to check the trap. When they returned, there was no animal in the trap but they told us they could close up all of the openings in our attic for $600.00. When we asked for more details (like how many openings were there in our attic?) we were told they didn't know and they hadn't had a chance to really evaluate. For $600.00, I want to know what I am paying for. Is it $600 regardless of whether there are only 1 or 2 openings or 9 or 10? This didn't make sense to me. I did not ask them to close the openings. They also left literature about an ongoing pest control contract which I did not choose to activate. It felt to me like the Angie's list "deal" was a marketing tool for them to get "their foot in the door" and their literature regarding ongoing pest control contracts out there.

I have used this provider for about 2 years and they are inept in their customer service. The guys that come to your house are nice enough, but the office staff is hard to deal with. I had a past due statement which I thought was paid. They sent me a notice and if I had not called them with questions I would have mailed it to the wrong address. They had moved and did not notify their customers. The letter did not have a return address on it, but as she said, the envelope did. They're supposed to call and set up and appointment and I can not tell you how many times they have just shown up. They called yesterday to tell me they were here and I was out of town on business. It's very frustrating.

They did what I hired them to do. I had to call them back and they didn't come back when they said they would. I had to call them back a couple of times to get them back here. They wanted to sell me a very expensive plan of pest and varmint problem here. Setting a trap in the attic was secondary to them, but they did it. I wasn't overly happy with them. He was very polite when he came in. They came out right away. I called to find out when they were going to back out and they said they would call me back. The service guy came out really late. His primary purpose of coming out was to sell me a very expensive plan. If you're ready to spend $100's of dollars in pest control then I would recommend them. They will do the trap and get the squirrels out. I had to insist on it. They did bring the equipment and got rid of him. It was a good price. I would not use them again.

I bought a Big Deal and they came out within a week of the purchase. I turned out well. I had to call them back because I still had bugs in the kitchen. They came back out at no charge. The original visit was less than 30 minutes. I'm not sure I'd use them again. I think it was expensive.

They were just fine. They did the job and after a month I called them back and redid the job.

I like on Galveston Bay and the mosquitos are bad. Their green spray is not harmful to us, but keeps the mosquitoes away for several weeks.

Tech was extremely knowledgeable and experienced detecting presence of rodents. He set traps and got good results. Easy to work with as far as scheduling, very punctual.

The technician came out and said that as I needed more than one trap there would be extra charges and that they would need to come back which would also be another charge. They did not try to work with me on the price as I was not aware of these restrictions with the coupon. I decided to not go forward with the service and have requested a refund from Angie's List.

At the recommendation of a friend, I scheduled Natran to come for an initial estimate and spray. They were scheduled to come between 2-6 PM on Saturday Oct 18. No phone call and no show. I tried calling the office, but there was no answer since it was the weekend. I called Monday to complain about their no show and they rescheduled to come back Wednesday between 6-8 PM since I work all day. That very Monday, I received a call from one of their technicians that they were on their way early for my noon appointment. I promptly called the office to ask why there was confusion. They confirmed to me several times that someone would definitely show up between 6-8 PM later the same day. 8 PM passed without a technician or phone call. Again I called the next morning to voice my extreme displeasure with their complete ineptitude and lack of professionalism. The scheduler then transferred me to the phone to speak to Melissa who I presume is a manager. They asked to be given a third chance. Interestingly she was never forthcoming about a deal to make it up for their two no-shows until I mentioned that they should do something in good faith. Their offer was one free initial estimate they claimed was a $150 value. My understanding is that this is double what they used to charge for their initial estimates. Needless to say, I do not trust them to perform a respectable service and encourage others to avoid this company.

Acknowledged my order by email and reported would call next day, didn't get a call so after 2 days called them. They were very apologetic, squeezed me into schedule when I was available and offered moquito spray. Told by tech probably only needed one treatment, but call if need 2nd since guaranteed. Discovered tech missed a bathroom and never provided mosquito spray. Called back in < 2 weeks since still had crazy ants and spiders. Next tech very sympathetic, worked hard to accommodate. Called for advise and ended up having to bomb the garage where majority of spiders invaded. No more crazy ants inside, thank God. Spider population significantly decreased, hard to complete rid those (house is new construction, in the country, on perimeter of new subdivision, lot next door not built on yet). Did get the promised mosquito spray.

This company is completely incompetent and unprofessional. I had major scheduling issues with them twice in one week and will not be using them for pest service. This morning was the icing on the cake - Natran was supposed to be at my house at 8am for first pest service of the day. I took off time from work to stay home and meet the tech. At 8:50am, I finally called Natran to ask where the tech was, and they said "oh sorry we had an emergency meeting this morning and everyone is just leaving now for service" (Note: this was the same excuse earlier this week when they didn't show up either). I was very annoyed that they didn't bother to call me to let me know of this delay (i.e., I had to call them and ask). The scheduling assistants then couldn't figure out if I was supposed to be the first or second stop of the day, whether the tech was actually on his way to my home or not, and whether my appointment was at 8am or from 8am-noon. How ridiculous! I finally left for work and called to say thanks but no thanks. I will be using another service provider with more competent staff.

They came for the first treatment, and I saw bugs return, so they retreated without any issues or complaints.

It was ok. Probably want use them in the future.

They’ve been very good. Scheduling was easy and the treatment was effective. The technician was very knowledgeable.

They arrived on time and provided excellent service. I would recommend the company to anyone.
