Met with with MCS's designer in August at their storefront, she told me she could mock up my layout on the computer in 3D and show me different layouts that would work with my dimensions once they were finalized. Later I started working it through emails and a phone consult in September from out of town, arranging to finalize and buy when arriving in Houston. It was a little bit difficult to get an idea on costs for different options or what the cabinet sizes were but we worked through some decisions and were closing in on it. Week before arrival, they stopped responding. When I asked why, owner responded that designer was now gone and said that I had cost him too much money in the planning stages and he would charge my by the hour to finalize my order. I felt devalued as a customer and that it was not wise to continue with him. So I had to start over in the process and find another vender to work with. It cost me a lot of time and derailed my schedule significantly as my time in town was limited. Not a good experience for me, but I still believe that they are a good cabinet source, honest and professional in general. I think that potential customers should consider MCS, I believe that they are good, just be aware that owner might turn cranky on you.

The really good value stood out. They have really good quality cabinets for the price. They have good customer service.
