When he wasn't pushing "whole house surge protection" and "service plan" at me, he did competent work, but it was grossly overpriced. I sent the following email, and never got a response: "When I buy services, my philosophy is to buy excellent work at a fair price. "Regarding the NEMA 14-50 plug you installed at my home at 8126 De Leon St, I think the work was good. "However, I think the price was excessive. More than $600, for about an hour of work, plus about 5 ft of cable and the NEMA plug, seems extremely unreasonable. "The price would seem more appropriate if the plug had been installed on the wall. "This leads to my next complaint: it seems to me that you located the plug where you did because of expediency, and not because it was the best location for the L2 charger I intend to use. "It needs to be on the wall, so I can mount the charger directly below it (my charger’s power-in cable enters at the top). Here’s a photo of a typical plug-in charger installation. "If not, would you come back and remove the installation at no cost to me? "Again, I have no problem with you—you seem bright and likable—or the quality of your work. It appears to me that you’re an independent contractor working as a franchisee. If that’s the case, I understand the need to generate revenue to meet your franchise obligations. "But the price still needs to be fair. In this case, the price was unfair and the installation was inappropriate to my requirements."

Technician discovered some incorrect wiring, replaced some outlets and tested the system to ensure integrity. All outlets are now working.

We were referred to Mr. Electric by Lightings Unlimited where we purchased our light fixtures from. Scheduling was smooth and Mr. Todd was prompt. He removed our old light fixtures and installed the new ones in the study and the bathroom without any issue.

Showed up right on time, the work involved both electrical & plumbing, the other electricians I called would not take the job because of the plumbing component, Todd got to job, finished both the the electrical & plumbing work. Going above & beyond he fixed another appliance that was malfunctioning, still sticking to the original quote. We are super impressed by the quality of his work & professionalism. Todd will be our go to guy from now on for all our electrical repair work.

Mr. Electric set a time with me to come and assess the job. They did a detailed inspection of the project to identify the problem. They gave me a clear explanation of why the GFI's were not resetting and then gave me a quote for the job. They also gave me several options for the repair. They were extremely professional, on time and did a great job.

Robert arrived and provided me with a quote and said that if it was fair he could complete the job. He went out and purchased what he needed for the job, and completed all tasks. He was very tidy and cleaned up/patched up drywall when he was done.

Their electrician originally replaced the line from transformer to my house. While digging and filling the dig, the dirt was not filled in properly, leading to water accumulation at my house and no drainage. Further more there were holes and areas where there was more dirt. Also my sprinkler system stopped working. After calling the company the electrician came back and fixed the sprinkler system after a few hours of work, but was not able to fix the yard. I placed several more calls and finally had the company to send a gardener to fix my dig issue. I think overall despite all the dig issues I had, I would have the company to do more work. They are very responsive, helpful and courteous. and they worked hard to get all of my issues resolved.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was just fine. I was not there when he installed it,. but it was done and worked fine. I called several people and no one called me back except Mr. Electric, which called promptly.

I purchased 2 ceiling fans from Home Depot yesterday. Today, I called 3 electricians to get a quote for the cost to install. Only Home Depot Services would give me an estimate for the actual work. The other 2 would only provide the cost for the 1st hour and subsequent hours of work, but would not give me a more accurate estimate. I decided to go with Home Depot Services who then put me in contact with Mr. Electric. Mr. Electric, a.k.a. David Booth, installed 2 ceiling fans into locations that previously held only light fixtures. David explained the extra charges that would be required to support ceiling fans if the existing electrical boxes weren't sufficient. I already understood this after viewing several "how to" videos on the web, plus was already informed of this cost by Home Depot Services. As I suspected, the light fixture electrical boxes were not sufficient to support a ceiling fan. David had all the right parts and equipment to correct this. David was very thorough and professional, and did a great clean-up after the job.
