Description of Work: I took a watch in for repair. They kept it for a few days and said it was repaired, they had put in a new battery and another part. The day after picking it up it was not running. They told me that it needed a complete over-hall & I should bring it in. I was told that could cost $150.00-200.00. |I decided to take it to The Little Watch Shop for a "second opinion"...at that time they put a new battery in and checked it over and it has been running fine ever since. I had paid for a new battery at Meyerland Jewelers and obviously it was not put in. I would not trust them again.

+ -1 moreI called ahead, and they suggested I come earlier in the day. I went at 11am on a Wed., and my rings were appraised right away, while I waited. It took about an hour for 4 rings, and the appraisal values were what I had expected. The report prepared is great, nicely put together and includes photos of the jewelry. The cost was $75 per item, which seemed a little high. I would recommend them.

+ -1 moreMartin at Meyerland Jewelers was courteous from start to finish. He offered me some solutions to fix my necklace, went ahead and ordered the pieces necessary and had the job done ahead of schedule.
Description of Work: I had a couple of pendants that needed to have loops sodered on to be able to wear on a necklace that also needed a new lobster clasp. They took care of it with great customer service. Finished before schedule and were very courteous. Martin was a delight to work with.

+ 0 moreMy son's fiancee and I met at the store just 30 minutes before closing. I had phoned that day, got the price for appraisal with paperwork for insurance purposes and was gjven a guote way below every web site quote she was gjven. I was told the paperwork might take an extra day, which was fine. The owner did the appraisal himself and went ahead and completed the appropriate paperwork the same evening. He was pleasant, professional and focused. He gave my son's fiancee his full attention, treating her with respect.
Description of Work: Made same day appointment for engagement ring appraisal for insurance coverage.

+ -1 moreThe atmosphere of the store is not friendly. There is an air of arrogance when you walk into the store. The person who does the repair is different. He is very friendly and appreciative of the business. His repairs are always done competently, quickly, and at a fair price.
