Carlos and the guys did an excellent job refinishing my bamboo floor. I definitely recommend them and I would use them again.

They actually did much more than paint. In preparation for my move, they totally renovated the kitchen (counters, flooring, backsplash), painted interior of 3000Ft2 house, repaired flooring, and completed miscellaneous repair jobs inside and outside. Quality was top notch as was customer service. Mazen is very reponsive and they were very price competitive.

I love the work this group did for my bathrooms. They were efficient yet did quality work. Joaquin was a fantastic project manager. Easy to get in touch with, listened and responded to all of my questions, and made personally sure that the work was done well. I even had an issue with some grout settling weird about a month after the work was done. Joaquin still sent someone out to fix it. Highly recommend.

Did wood flooring. Very good pricing and service

They did a good job sanding but the refinishing was awful. Lots of splotchy areas and not even close to the color I told them to use. Shoe molding was mostly good. They were efficient, they did it in three days. But I had to spend another seven days getting it closer to the color I needed.

Excellent work. Very detailed and clean. Sales rep was on the job a lot making sure every detail was perfect. We love the way the porcelain wood looks.

My husband and I are not the type of consumers that write reviews, but we felt compelled to relate how completely satisfied we were with the staff at Metro Flooring. We had our home updated with new flooring throughout, new master and family bathroom renovations, redesigned kitchen, and renovation of the recreation room. From selecting materials and deciding on designs to the installation, the staff were helpful, friendly, prompt, and professional - we were very satisfied and impressed! They provided quality materials, offered knowledgeable design ideas, and were extremely prompt in getting our project underway! Of course there is disruption in this type of project, but the installation staff went out of their way to minimize that disruption, from moving furniture, clean-up, and making sure they provided what we wanted. They and the managerial staff were always asking if we were happy with the progress and if they were meeting our expectations. Everyone at Metro Flooring wanted to be sure they were providing what we wanted in design and product results. We were very happy with their helpful, friendly, prompt, and professional service and highly recommend Metro Flooring to everyone looking to update, redesign, and renovate their homes!! This has been truly a wonderful experience with fantastic results!!

Had estimated completion of project at 2 weeks, but ran 4 weeks over. From the very beginning I made a major issue that we were not replacing the cream color carpet in the bedroom and therefore ALL the sub-contractors needed to bring floor covering with them and use it. Other than the first demo guys (who only put down a narrow piece of paper that immediately ripped when they stepped on it) NOT ONE OTHER sub-contractor paid any attention to trying to keep the carpet clean even though I repeatedly told the company about this. I finally had to cover all the carpet and entry way every day myself and pick up after the subs (like moving the grout bucket and the soda off of my carpet). There were days when no one would show up, and days when someone would show up and not know what the plans were, or only did a partial job and then left. After the tile people laid down the beautiful tile, none of the contractors after that point ever covered the new tile, so by the time it was all over, the new floor was filthy and scratched and we had to do everything ourselves to clean it and just live with the scratches. They never gave us copy of the plans, or a computer picture, or anything as to what the final would look like; but we take some responsibility for this as was our first re-model and we never thought to ask; we had expected them to just do what we had asked for. I was quite surprised at all the trouble we had after I had called 3 of the references they gave me and no one had indicated any problems. This was an expensive learning experience; if we ever remodel again, we'll certainly go about it a different way.

We hired this company after water damage due to poor contractor work in our master bathroom. We had to rip up laminate and carpet. We went back with luxury vinyl plank. It was a great experience. Mr. Eddie was available and responsive. Awesome experience and will love the floors. We will definitely do business again in the future.

it was just a repair on tile.....

The overall management of the project was poor. We remodeled our entire house and there were delays and issues caused by a lack of day to day management. The persons overseeing the project were not on site each day to keep things running smoothly. The trades that would arrive would not receive instructions on finish details and I had to do a lot of this myself. When there were delays or other issues the communication to us was extremely poor. Many times when I was informed a trade worker would be coming on a specific day he would not arrive on the day I was told and there was no communication as to why or that they "management" were even aware of it. There was also a damage issue, and flooring had to be replaced due to a water leak caused by negligence. The company is working to correct the issues but overall it hasn't been a good renovation experience!!!

Abdul listened to what we want and delivered big time! He and Mazen went above and beyond, and their customer service was outstanding! They accommodated some last minute changes and requests with no issues. We are very pleased that we selected them and will not hesitate to contact them in the future.

Great experience! After shopping for a contractor getting quotes and reading customer reviews I decided on American Home Improvement. Abdullah I. representing American Home Improvement came to my home at the scheduled appointment time. I knew exactly the flooring I wanted installed and provided him with the exact product information. Abdullah I. provided a fair and reasonable quotation that included: furniture moving; the removal of existing carpeting and padding; the new flooring; installation of the new flooring quarter round and transition strips. I accepted the quote and signed the contract that same evening. Abdullah I. anticipated that given the scope of the project it could take two and a half days to complete. That was fine and what I had expected. The installers were friendly and polite. The installers completed the project and cleaned-up in less time than anticipated. Abdullah I. kept in touch with me throughout the project assuring my satisfaction. My new floors were installed well and are beautiful! Surely, I will call American Home Improvement for my next project. Robert G

Metro Flooring installed wood look tile throughout the main living area in our rental property. They were extremely professional, did quality work and completed the job in a very timely manner.

Mark is a very courteous, intellegent and a helpful contractor. He was flexible on payment programs which helped us alot. Brought samples to choose from. We had 3 granite counter tops done including an island. Total cost was $ 2,400.00. Extremely affordable, but rather than using one continuous piece of granite on each counter, the counter with the sink in it had 6 different pieces of granite with seams. While this is what we agreed to, and it does look good overall, if you get close up you can see the seams, but again this is how they can give you such low costs. They can keep costs down if only 1 slab of granite is bought and size it with cut-outs for sink and stove top to fill in extra areas. Keep this in mind if you have a low budget. Overall I am very happy with the outcome. Seams cannot be seen due to the multi-colored natural veins and texture of the granite. Make sure workers close off kitchen area with plastic sheeting to keep powder residue from cutting granite to a minimum. We did not have any plastic sheeting put up to close off kitchen and powder was everywhere. Also, take out any drawers with utensils or anything in cabinets and put in another room from where they are cutting. Anything in drawers/cabinets were covered completely in thick powder and we had to run about 10 dishwasher loads to get all of them clean. Had to clean tile floor 2 times to get powder residue off. Just a few tips to prevent any extra work on your part. Job was complete in one day after scheduling it a week in advance. I highly reccommend Mark and his crew. Great guy and terrific company!

The process was pretty painless. Mark measured quickly and he was able to estimate within 100 sq ft of the job size over the phone. The pricing when we met in person was consistent with our phone conversation. He is pretty animated, but he is very friendly. There was a bit of confusion on the scheduled day of the install as we had not received confirmation that the crew was going to be on site that day, but they did in fact show up on the originally promised install date. The installers were very courteous and moved all of the furniture out of the way including disassembly/reassembly as needed. They mostly put things back in the right place and were happy to make adjustments as needed. They had to stay a bit late to finish the job, but they got it done in one day. The second point of confusion was when I expected to pay them upon job completion, but they had not been given instructions about that. I was able to make the final payment over the phone with Mark. I have not found anything that I wish they had done different or better.

Has integrity. Did what he said. He even brought samples to my place of business so I could pick color and style.

Mark the sales man was very quick to respond to my questions and call. I had a big issue with improperly install flooring by pervious owners and they were able to fix the issues I had in a timely manor and with quality work.

Mark (the salesman) was very communicative & the crew did great, detail-oriented work. Competitive pricing as well (Forget about Lowes!)
