We have used Pedro to construct cedar fence at our home, several different times, over the last 9+ years. He always does outstanding work and is reasonably priced. His willingness to come meet with us, many times the same day as our call, is appreciated and he typically provides a price within a day or two if not during the initial call out. In this instance, my wife accidently backed into our wrought iron driveway gate before it fully opened, breaking the linkage/connection point of the hydraulic ram to the main gate support post. As usual, Pedro came out to our house around 6 PM the same afternoon as we contacted him to see what needed to be done. Aditionally the gate had started opening and closing slower than nornal and we also needed a couple of new remote controls because both of ours had somehow run off. Even though we use Homelink in our vehicles, a couple of remotes are handy to have. Pedro took the hydraulic ram to his shop to test, just in case it was still operational. Unfortunately the ram was shot but Pedro was able to have the broken linkage cut off, new linkage welded to the post, and installed a new hydraulic ram. The main control box needed two new batteries and we were also provided two new gate openers, all of this the very next day. Considering the price of a new gate, I considered $1000 a fair price for same day service with next day repair and replacement of the hydraulic ram, linkage, 2 new batteries, and 2 new remote controls. I wasn't there to watch but I bet Pedro even greased the hinges while here. He is just that kind of guy. Honest, friendly, rapid response, quality work and fair prices. What more can I ask for?

The people were friendly when they came, but they purposefully hid some mistakes they made like putting two gates perpendicular to one another so you had to open one (get the handle out of the way) to get the other one open. I also have to lift up the gate to keep it from sliding on the pavement. When I called about the problems, they promised they would come fix it and they haven't. I thought their price was a little high, but I've had such good experiences with independent contractors from Angie's List that I decided to go with them anyway. BIG MISTAKE.

I called on Tuesday and it was done on Wednesday. He actually came out on Tuesday to give me a bid. Great job.

I was happy with the overall quality of the work but disappointed that they did not fix a problem that was discovered after they left. Overall, I liked that the owner was onsite & available.
