It doesn't work

I've used this company 4 or 5 times now. When Scott (owner) came out to perform services, he did a fairly good job. I asked for rodent bait to be set in my garage and attic but he has yet to do that. I asked him to go in the attic to check for rodents, but he has not done that yet either. I asked for this company to come out quarterly to perform services. They never call me when it's time to come out, I have to call them, which I am not happy with. I would think this is their job if they want my business. I have a representative here now from their company (not Scott) who is spraying bug spray on everything in my house. He does not just go along the baseboards, he just aims and sprays and it goes on my curtains, walls, plants, antique furniture, books, etc. I AM NOT HAPPY!! When I scheduled this service, I specifically talked to the lady who answers the phone about having my yard and outdoor areas treated for carpenter ants. When the service guy got here, he said he was not told about treating for the carpenter ants, or that I wanted the yard done today. I feel I have given this company a fair opportunity to perform up to the standards that made me choose this company in the beginning, but after today. I will not use them again. If he is pressed for time, then don't do a substandard job for me, let's reschedule.

From start to finish, Mr. McGrath himself walked me though what was proposed, how it would be done, and showed me the work when completed.

The guy from McGrath's came out promptly. However, he just walked around the perimeter of the house, glanced up, pointed to two holes and said they needed to be closed up, but didn't appear to know much. He didn't inspect the roof, or chimney or go up in the attic. Basically he did nothing! We called our usual Pest Control guy out (although he doesn't rat proof just puts poison down). He was able to tell us a lot more about the size of the rat, where they were coming in, what to do about it. He put down more rat bait in the attic and told us to wait to close up the holes until the weather got to 88 degrees as rats will stay near water then and won't come into the attic. He said if we sealed the holes before this, the rat or rats wouldn't be able to get out and we didn't want that! He gave us the name of another guy who rat proofs attics as well. I was disappointed with the non-service we got from McGrath's Pest Control. I guess you can't win 'em all?

Mr. Scott McGrath arrived exactly at the promised time and did a very thorough job. He used chemicals that did not bother my wife's allergies. It was a very pleasant experience, and we will use them again.

McGrath was wonderful to work with and I highly recommend them. They were so nice and responsive when I called in a panic because I had a mouse loose in the house, and the work was first rate and at a reasonable price. Great company!

My husband and I had been seeing some insects in and around our stove area. Scott arrived early to our appointment, so we finished early, which was nice. He was quick and efficient - all told, it took him only 15 minutes to spray our condo ( 1,400 square feet), and he examined our insect problem and determined it was a result of our neighbor's remodeling. He left a refrigerator magnet with contact information and said his office would call at three months to remind us to set up a regular appointment. He was very polite and courteous, and I would call him again in a heartbeat if we had an issue. We have seen no insects since he sprayed our condo.

Over a period of a couple of months we would occasionally find ants in the pantry, another cupboard in the kitchen and on the kitchen floor. They even showed up on the bookshelf in the living room. After trying to treat them ourselves, we decided that we needed help. McGrath was extremely courteous and friendly when we called them. I called on a Monday and they were here on Friday. When McGrath was at our home, we were pleased with the professional and pleasant service we received. We will not hesitate to call them again.

Dan arrived early and was very friendly. Sprayed inside and out and presented a bill that I expected.

McGrath is set up to spray at a rental location I have quarterly. They are on time always, reasonable in price, and Scott McGrath is very personable. In fact, he was very helpful the last time in my attempt to open an A/C door, above and beyond!

Mcgrath Pest Control Services service lasts about six months before I have to call him again. I am really impressed with how long it works and how inexpensive it is. I recommend him highly.

The guy was late one day but he called and said that he was stuck in traffic and that he would be about fifteen minutes late. So really that was no big deal to me, at least he called.

They gave me information over the phone to help me identify the pest problem...i.e. ants or termites. They did a great job when they came out and were as helpful over the phone.

They did a great job, the man who did the clean up of the shed felt safe entering the building without worrying what may be lurking in this long neglected shed. He did a very effective extermination.

When they came, I found that they made a mistake and sprayed my yard instead of the inside and outside of my home. They immediately took care of the problem an compensated me with a ten percent discount. The have affordable cost for the service they provide. I am pleased with them.

They came out to get rid of fire ants.

The price was fair. The payment was made simple. He showed up in time and quickly got to work. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Mr. McGrath listened to our pest control concerns and meet our needs. We will use him again.

McGrath Pest Control came out gave me a price, sprayed the inside and the outside for bugs. They did a great job. They showed up on time, were polite and professional. They gave me a guarantee. I haven't seen any bugs since they sprayed. If I do they will come back out and spray again. They come out four times a year and I have been using them for eight years. I am satisfied with the service and I would highly recommend them.

They are always on time, and very quick to get the job done. I have had no problems with the insects since they have started spraying. I do pay them every other month, and I feel it is well worth every penny. I am very impressed how they take their job serious.

McGrath Pest Control answered my call quickly, and followed up readily with an estimate and service agreement. They were very reasonable with their prices, and were able to explain the difference between their pesticides and the stuff on the shelf, and why their's works so much better. The treatment was scheduled as soon as a day and time were set, and the technician was on time. He sprayed the inside and outside of the home, and gave us instructions for leaving and coming back home.

HE WAS VERY PROMPT, POLITE. THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. HE WAS VERY NICE.
