I use to use another company for pest control but they sucked! Overpriced and they didn't solve my problem. I'm convinced they just sprayed water. McGrath did an amazing job and I haven't seen any more insects!

It was just ok, nothing here to differentiate from any number of other companies doing this. Price, service, really everything was about the same as what I've had done before.

They are very good. They are very prompt and they’re pretty professional as well. Their services seem pretty effective. I will use their services again in the future.

The technician showed up on time & did a very thorough treatment of my condo. First week following treatment, there was a spike in activity, but that has nearly fell to zero activity in the 2-3 weeks following.

We’ve used him here probably for thirty years. He did great. If you live in Houston, you need pest control. He’s been doing this I think since 1982 for us. So it’s quite a long time. There’s nothing different that he does. He does what he’s supposed to do. We will use his services again in the future.

McGrath was great. The serviceman was prompt. In fact, he was early which was wonderful.

I would highly recommend McGrath Pest Control. When I called to make the appointment, Sharon was extremely friendly and helpful. She answered all my questions. I wasn't thrilled when termites were found on the initial visit from the technician, but felt very comfortable that everything he explained to me was correct. A few days passed, and I received a follow up call from Sharon asking if I had any questions. I explained that I really wanted to have the tech. come back , but that I wasn't sure how I was going to pay for it, since it was going to be a rather large bill. Sharon didn't even hesitate and advised that I could break up the total into a few payments to make it easier. I was so relieved to hear that. So I made the appointment for the tech. to come back to do the work. When the technician came to exterminate, he was very professional and was in no hurry to finish quickly. I really liked that he took his time and made sure the job was completed correctly. Considering that it was 104* outside the day he came to work, he still maintained a positive attitude the entire two hours that he was working. I will definitely call McGrath again should I need anything more. They went above and beyond what I expected.

Enthusiastically recommend. Office staff was very courteous and knowledgeable when scheduling service. Owner/Scott arrived early for appointment and immediately went to work. Performed tasks competently and in compliance with bid and time alotted. Took time to point out areas of vulnerability and recommend solutions. Conduct was professional and engaging. Equipment was modern and well maintained. A long term relationship has begun.

They do both inside and outside extermination and they charge separately. They both cost the same and you get some exterior treatment free with the interior treatment. It’s not like one or the other. The outside extermination can be a lot more expensive. We have used those guys several years. I like to assign the job to someone small and local. They are personable and if there is any problem you can call them up and they would deal with it. I am prejudiced against the big players and they don't have much skin in the game and I would like to help the smaller more local merchants if I can and if they do a good job. They do a better job than some of the bigger companies. Their everyday is good compared to the big guys. They are pretty accommodating and I don't know if you could talk to others about issues and get options. They are approachable and customer oriented. I sometimes have the sense when I am dealing with big players that they would do a certain job for a certain price and nothing more. The McGrath guy found a problem next to my air conditioner line if I don’t do something about that. It was an open invitation for animals, critters or whatnot. I don't think any other exterminator would have gone out of his way to point that out. He didn’t tell me what to do but he did point it out and said that it could be an invitation to problems later on.

I called McGrath Pest Control to tell them that I was having an infestation of small bugs all over the columns on my front porch, the porch and the sidewalk. I went out on a Sunday night around 5-6 p.m. to turn off my lawn sprinkler and was horrified that all of these little bugs were everywhere! At first I thought they were ants and used up an entire can of Raid ant and roach spray. After wiping down the columns of dead bugs, I thought the problem was solved. WRONG! They came back again for two more nights (but not at the same level, but way too many for my comfort zone). I called McGrath as it was almost time for my quarterly pest control with them anyway. They were so accommodating trying to fit me into their already busy schedule (and mine was packed, too). We managed to settle on a mutual date a couple of days later. In the meantime, they asked me if I could catch one of the bugs and put it in a bag, which I did. When Scot came out on the schedule date/time, he determined they were chinch bugs. (Our grass had been turning brown/yellow in areas, but we just assumed it was due to our drought conditions, plus, our yard looked like many others, so there was no cause for alarm.) We then set up a follow up appointment for McGrath to come back our and treat our yard with granules. The chinch bugs are gone and as I understand it, there will be a follow up treatment. I thought their price was a little high, considering there will also be a follow up charge, but they did give me a discount as I also referred our neighbor who used their services for the same problem. I have never had this problem before, so I do not know what others would charge. I do find their quarterly charges to be very reasonable compared to other big companies I have used in the past.

Some flying ants were in the house for a few days. We had to kill them on the ceiling, lamps, walls.. everywhere. I checked Angies list, and found McGrath who seemed to be very creditable from the reviews. I called them up, and got their service in the same week. I was happy that all the troubles was gone.

The company was timely and efficient and professional is solving my pest problem.

A friend of mine recommended this company which she has used for a number of years. They come and treat her house every 3 months. They call and remind her that it is time for a treatment. Scott McGrath came exactly at the appointed time and was very professional. He was thorough in his approach. I certainly will use him again.

During a standard pest/insect treatment I asked that he inspect for termites. He found some active termites in one of the posts in the front of the house. I asked for a quote to do the treatment and along with a couple others. His quote was right in the middle, but I chose McGrath because of their great service up to that point and their high ratings on Angie's List. Steve showed up early to the appointment performed the treatment. Extremely polite, he removed his shoes when he came in to do the paperwork upon completion and walked me through the work he did. The service requires a yearly $100 maintenance fee that includes an annual check up to make sure no termites have penetrated the barrier and, if they have, further treatment to eradicate. Overall a great experience from the scheduling to the service and will definitely recommend them to neighbors.

I use them on a regular basis. They are great. They are professional, personable and nice people. They offer a better deal compared to some of the big guys. I shared a magazine article with Kevin, who is one of the guys who come out, because his picture was in the article, and he was pretty thrilled. I would rate them highly and would continue to use them in the future.

They came out numerous times, and gave a good effort, but they unable to resolve the problem.

Their price is fair. Always on time, always call ahead of time. They never run late. They are usually 5 to 10 minutes early. They never try to push products or services on you. You can discuss what they have with them but they are not pushy. It's very very good service. If they come back, they do not charge you. They usually come back the next day. It is a great company.

They have always been good and that's why I keep on using them. The bugs don't show up and they get rid of them pretty quickly. They do a good job. I've been using them for 10 years. I spend around $60 to $70. I would continue to use them in the future.

My husband found some honey bees in and out from a hole under the roof. I have no idea which animal remover is reliable. So I joined Angie's list and picked McGrath due to the good reports. I was very impressed when I called the office and decided to make an appointment right away. Kevin arrived at my house 5 min. earlier and waited in the car until the appointment time. He did a very good job inside and outside thoroughly. Compare to the pest control we used before, McGrath did more outside treatment and sprayed every room alone the wall which my old one only sprayed certain areas (technically, I can't judge which is a better way). One thing I like McGrath is no need to sign contract annually. Unlike quarterly basis from my previous pest control, I can ask twice a year or once a year and every treatment is the same price. So overall to say, I am very satisfy with McGrath's service.

I liked the person who did the follow-up. I'm planning to use them in the future. We are signed up with them.

They were able to see the house we were buying within 2 days of me calling for an appointment. They mailed us the report quickly because we weren't able to be there in person. They took payment over the phone. Were very friendly. Only downside, the first person I gave my info to apparently didn't take it down right and luckily I called to confirm the appointment and they asked for my info again. And it took them about a week to run the charge.
