I would highly recommend Marwood Construction to anyone that needs a new custom home built. From design through construction completion, I always felt I could trust them and that they had my best interest in mind, even when we disagreed about details. They are very professional and ethical in their business practices.

Patrick Martin took our money and didn’t place the order. We confront him on a mistake he made and he refused to accept it. Patrick is a scammer!

For design through construction, Marwood Construction provided great advice and quality workmanship. The service was excellent. They kept us informed of schedule changes and our budget allowances throughout the entire process. They operated with honesty and integrity as professional. Marwood was more expensive then the other 2 general contractors we vetted, but the service, consistent quality and professionalism was well worth it. Every time we would get concerned with either a schedule matter or the methods they used to complete a task, we were satisfied with their explanation and the results. This happened to be the first major renovation of our first floor, and our experience has been quite positive. We chose Marwood Construction based on a nearby renovation project that they had successfully completed. Our initial meeting with the consultant from Marwood Construction was quite helpful. The consultant listened to all we wanted. All phone calls at any time to Marwood was promptly answered. We received lots of positive feedback from family and friends on how good the renovation work looks. I strongly recommend Marwood Construction, and would surely ask for their services in future.

True to their legacy of being the NAHB Graduate Master Builder, we expected the finest in services from Marwood Construction and they met our expectations. Beyond the craftsmanship and the pleasant home building experience, we have enjoyed Patrick and his team as people. They are trustworthy and dependable, which is a lot to say in this day and age with any service company.

Wow!!! Amazing results; better than expected or promised. My neighbor referred me after I saw the complete overhaul Marwood Construction had done to his entryway and living room; transformed! They doubled the size of their living room (added a fireplace and a wall of windows looking out on his yard) and added a half bath to the entryway. He was so pleased I'm surprised he hasn't left a review. I hired Marwood Construction to remodel and expand both my kitchen, master bedroom, bath and closet. The owner himself, Patrick Martin, personally came out and to give me a quote. He was knowledgeable and professional, albeit a few minutes late (he did call to let me know he was held up on another job). His quote was very competitive with the others I'd gotten, but it was Mr. Martin's vision and expertise that was the tipping point. He seemed to know everything about the construction of my older home built in the mid '60's, the challenges we'd face with my electrical and plumbing systems, and his suggestions were first rate. He caught things the other contractors had overlooked and easily won my confidence. The other issue was that I needed it completed before the holidays when my family would be in town. He had some other projects on the books so he couldn't promise, -made that clear, but he delivered!!! My giant, beautiful chef's kitchen was completed just in time for Thanksgiving. It was such a luxury to prepare our meal in my new big, gorgeous kitchen, with enough room for everyone to congregate and not get in my way! I was so proud of my fabulous kitchen. Marwood really exceeded my expectations!!! My bedroom used to be a tiny, dark cave with a very dated bathroom and a single closet (my husband had to use the guest room closet). When Marwood Construction finished, it is now my favorite space in the house! In the master closet we built a large marble island with drawers (including a hidden jewelry safe too, no more safety deposit box needed!), a shoe wall, a separate cedar closet and a sitting area. Our master closet is the envy of all of my friends and I feel like a movie star while dressing. We tripled the size of our bedroom, with floor to ceiling windows, a stone fireplace and french doors leading to a private patio. It is truly the master retreat I've always wanted! Overall, I couldn't be happier with Marwood Construction. I plan to use them again to update the family room. They were very timely, cleaned up their mess before they'd leave for the day, without any hidden/additional cost. Mr. Martin is the utmost professional and visionary!
