Before he started work he told me that they also do painting, Since I was in the process of painting the inside of my house, I asked him for a Price. His price was within my budget and he painted everything inside my house and did some extra work that I was in need of having done at a very reasonable price, replaced an outside back door, removed some damaged wood floors and laid tile in its place and repaired the chimney and a section of damaged eve all before painting the outside of the house. I am very happy with his work and his professionalism. I plan to his this company again to paint another house of mine.

It was such a pleasure to have Mr. Martinez out at our house to finish up our kitchen remodel, he came in and taped off the whole floor, countertops and sink with heavy duty paper he covered all cabinetry and fixtures with plastic. He took his time to pay attention to detail, all painting was excellent and nice straight lines in the corners. I cant wait to have him out again, just wish we would have found him sooner for other work around the house.

When I find a contractor like Jose Martinez, I'm reminded of exactly why I'm an Angie's List member. He came out right away when I called for an estimate. He was honest about his time frame; it would be 2-3 weeks before he could start the job, which was fine. He's great about keeping in touch via text, and I find that to be very convenient. I went back and forth about the paint colors and he was very patient and understanding. Jose knows his colors! He reminded me to take everything in the room into consideration. The tan colored trim around the rooms, the color of the flooring, every little thing. When he came out, he was so thorough about covering the work space. And they took care in moving furniture and personal items, etc. He started painting one wall when I arrived to take a look at the progress, and I decided the color was not right. He listened and suggested, again, that I really take my time, think it over, no pressure because color is a really big deal! He's really great to work with and I will call him out again for another room or two before the end of year.

Jose came in the the next day for a free quote... I had actually double booked another painter/remodeller to give me a quote on flooring and fireplace remodel... Jose was not the least bit bothered by the competition. He emailed me an accurate quote the same day... and he was willing to negotiate for a reasonable price. His initial quote was actually quite reasonable. He came on time with his colleague and did the work systematically. He prepped the area correctly took his time to make sure the walls were smooth and clean and the corners and edges and trims were protected and painted first and he applied two coats of paint... He helped us feel comfortable with our choice of paint color and was willing to give advise but not force any advise on us. His team was very dependable and trustworthy. I gave him the key to my place to come and go... Great guy and they finished on time as promised. The bought their own supplies and bought the paint on their own by matching my color I chose from Hope Depot. Thanks Jose!!!

We called on Jose, who painted most of our interior almost 3 years ago; without hesitation he remembered us. Jose and his crew does excellent work. The prices are reasonable, the workmanship is outstanding. This is a small project, but Jose gives it the same level of details and attention without prejudice. Jose and his crew has earned to becoming our painter of choice whenever we needed work done.

I hired Martinez Custom to do a large residential job which ultimately consisted of over 15 rooms, including walls, ceilings, chair rails, wainscoting, and various colors and finishes. The owner, Jose provided a reasonable quote and was on site to manage his crew. The entire team was very professional and careful about protecting floors and surfaces not being painted. Jose educated me when I had questions, before, during and after. Mid job, I added rooms and changed colors. Jose was very patient and helped keep me on course. The quality was excellent and they finished ahead of schedule. I recommend them highly and would rehire them again.
