Description of Work: They reviewed the roof, provided a reasonable quote that was a little better than others we received. They did an excellent job and did all the work as agreed upon and charged the fee they had quoted. They also did an excellent job of cleaning up.

Description of Work: Replaced roof - used large crew and were finished in 1-1/2 days. Owner called about a week after installation to see if there were any issues that I wanted to address. There were none.

Description of Work: Replaced the roof of our home badly damaged by a hail storm. Work was professional. Strip off was clean. Damaged deck was repaired. Drip edges properly installed. Membrane properly installed. Starter course installed. Shingles applied straight with proper exposure. Valleys properly flashed and laced. Chimney properly flashed. All penetrations with new boots and flashing, painted to match. New vents hawks installed for bathroom exhaust. Ridge vents properly installed. Clean up was excellent. I only found 2 nails in the yard after they left, which I consider remarkable. Provided all documentation required by my insurance company. And, best of all, absolutely straight dealing.

Description of Work: This company replaced exterior wood siding with Hardie Plank, installed a window, and painted the new siding. The completed project looks good but there were many frustrations along the way. The biggest frustration was the lack of professional communication with the M and M representative for our area. He does not return calls promptly and often forgot to let us know when the crew was coming so they just showed up. The crew worked in the rain so insulation got wet (company did replace it) and our yard was damaged from them walking on the saturated ground. They put boards on the ground to avoid the mud which further damaged our yard. They left lots of trash around the yard, including food trash and drink bottles. Items from the house to be reused (AC pipe and wire cover) were thrown away. The crew would show up to work on Sundays which disturbed our family and neighbors. We were not told beforehand that storm door would no longer fit over front door and water was leaking in which damaged our wood floors. Siding crew said we would not be able to use a storm door. It took almost three months to get that problem resolved and they ended up ordering a new storm door. Although this company is certified by James Hardie, we did not feel that the experience was a very professional experience as we had expected it would be and I don't think the siding crew is all trained on specific guidelines because their work was not consistent with each other.

Description of Work: Rick Shelton's crew did a fantastic job. There was a delay due to rain, but Mr. Shelton called me each day until it was dry enough to replace the roof. He also let me know as soon as unexpected damages were evident. You never know what you're going to find when you take off an entire roof, but in this case, Mr. Shelton estimated costs (in advance) so that I'd know what we might find. | |The customer service I received was excellent!

Description of Work: I contracted M and M to install replacement windows which they intended to order from Plygem. I put a sizable down payment and an installation date was set. As the date approached, I got the the run around from their rep Dave Masse. After several e mails he finally admitted that the window order was never placed. We set another date for July. As this date approached, I checked again with Mr Masse. After some time, he finally replied that he was not with M and M any longer and that M and M was no longer doing windows. No one from M and M ever contacted me to advise me of this. Just poor communication all around. |So I am looking for another contractor.

Description of Work: Fixed multiple roof leaks and some rotted siding. Great workmanship and communication throughout process. Will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Service and quality was outstanding. Their price came in a little higher than other bids, but their materials and warranty were far superior. You get what you pay for! I've never had a new roof installed without a lot of mess and plant damage, but not with M & M. Their workers were very neat and careful around our plants and outdoor decor. They arrived early and worked until the sun set and our new roof was complete within a couple of days. I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Replaced the existing two layer roof on our mid-1970's vintage house. The original wood shingle roof had been overlayed with conventional shingles, so both layers had to come off and new sheeting installed, thus the higher than normal price. As you might imagine, removing a 40+ year old wood roof is a messy process, but M&M handled like pros. I expected a big mess to be left in the attic from all the splintered wood, but there was almost none. |I also expected to be picking pieces of wood out of our landscaping for months and I've found only a couple small pieces. Our neighbors even commented on how well M&M protected our landscaping. Bottomline - they did an excellent work removing the old and the new roof looks great. Pricewise, they were not the cheapest (about 15% higher than lowest bid), but the extra cost was worth the quality of work performed.
