Jim Williams was awesome in getting the job done, done well and in a reasonable time period given all damage Harvey caused Houston. But what set this experience apart from other people we have worked with is that Jim went the extra mile in being our advocate to the insurance company. He spent a lot of time working them and showing them that the whole roof needed replacing and not settling for a a piece meal repair job which is what the insurance company wanted to do. Jim was a difference maker and I would recommend M&M without hesitation.

They came out for the estimate. On three times I contacted them about it and twice I was told I would receive it by the end of the day. The last time I did not get a response. I would have appreciated them just saying that they did not want the job.

Very well. Rain delayed our initial starting date. Due to only a few days before the next predication of rain, Mr. Shelton doubled the work crew to ensure the roof would be completed before it rained again. They were successful! We appreciated Mr. Shelton's professionalism and his updates throughout the entire process.

Travis and team did a great job replacing our roof and cleaning up. The team executed to process described during planning and meet our expectations. Also, Owner followed up to ensure everything was done to our satisfaction. M&M Roofing demonstrated an appreciation for their customer. This is remarkable given it's a sellers market for roofers in this area. Will recommend to anyone needing roof replacement/ repair.

Nothing was done. I used them in the past on another home and they were great. When I asked them out to my house I was told I had too many areas of concern and the job was too small. However, if I was going to replace the whole roof they would be interested.

They did come out and look at my roof for minor repair work and also measure all my window (32+) for replacement. They said they will get back to me the next day for both items but never did and I have call them back then the sale rep call me back & said because of some of my window size (too large), he have to wait for the manufacturer of the window to response. At the end he never call me back regarding the roof repair or the window replacement.

The M&M representative identified the basic issue with the old patio roof - It had been installed with improper materials given its size and slope. He provided an estimate for a properly designed roof complete with prices for additional compoents that might be required once old roof was removed. The roof installers were punctual and thorough in both work and clean-up. They repaired some water damaged decking, rafters and soffits. They even touched up the paint where required. The M&M representative contacted me once the underlying damage was identified, but before the additional work was done, to apprise me of the exact price even though it was not substantial. Finally, the M&M representative personally inspected the job before collecting payment.

Over the past 12 1/2 years, M&M has replaced my siding as well as my roof. So when windows leaked during Hurricane Harvey, there was only one company I was going to call. They replaced seven of my windows, resealed a sliding door, and they look AMAZING. Rick Shelton has been the sales manager for all three projects, and you simply cannot ask for a more helpful and friendly professional. The workers at M&M are consistently efficient and diligent, and they REALLY went the extra mile on one very very stubborn window that did NOT want to be removed!!! I trust this company to do the job well, and have never been disappointed.

It went very smoothly. Completed in a day and a half with no issues. They left no mess.

I was referred by my parents. Rick quickly assessed the problem, showed me images, and clearly explained why my roof was leaking. I was impressed because I had a leak in the same area last year, but another roofer obviously didn't fix the whole problem. I got onto his schedule after two weeks, and they fixed my roof in less than a day. I'm happy with the results so far, and am confident that Rick and his team fixed what needed to be fixed. I'll definitely hire them again.

Excellent. These guys arrived when they said they would and always let me know ahead of time. The representative, Nathan Contello, actually worked more like a consultant than a salesman when examining my roof post-Harvey. He discussed the entire fix versus replace option and didn't hard sell me on the replace option. But, he did clearly, including photos, point out the issues involved and how the most recent roof was done with good shingles, but very faulty installation. Note: the previous owner had the roof installed eight years ago and it had been nothing but problems for me. Hurricane Harvey demonstrated just how faulty it was. M&M did a lot of extras that differentiate between just getting it done and doing it really right. These things included custom making an entirely new flashing around the chimney, fashioning a much improved drainage barrier on the dormers, power washing all of the bricks, including my siding, not just the chimney and then diligently coating the chimney with a sealer. They tossed the former plastic air horns and replaced them with aluminum ones. They also completely redid the top of the chimney, knocking out the old cement, sealing everything, rebuilding a new sloped base with modern, long-lasting material and replacing the faulty chimney cap. In short, they worked professionally, did what I think was an above and beyond job, and did so for the same price as other bidders. I'd hire them again.

Terrible. I called M&M roofing 6 weeks ago to repair a hole in my roof caused by the hurricane Harvey. Their process involves designating a sales representative to contact the customer which they did to schedule an estimate. Understanding that these companies have a lot on their plate with all of the damage around Houston, I told them skip the estimate and schedule the repair. I wouldn't need the estimate as I likely would not involve my insurance company. The sales representative, Jim, said he was "shooting for next week but I can't promise anything". Next week came around and I text him asking which day he thought they would make it out. His response was he didn't know as the crew was slammed. I asked if there was any time frame that they could commit to as the hole is not protected enough to go weeks without being fixed. Jim said he could come tarp it. I said that would be helpful. Jim did not come tarp it. A week later, after hearing nothing, I called M&M and asked them what the status of my repair was. They asked if I had spoken to a sales agent, and I said yes. I gave them the history and they said they would look into it. I have heard nothing. I have since reached out to Jim a week after that and again another week later, and have received no response. I know they are busy, but this is terrible. I have a hole in my roof and it has been 6 weeks! I'm not sure how they are graded so highly on Angies.

The price was very good compared to other quotes, and the Angie's List coupon helped too. The guy talked me out of the more expensive options in which I was interested. The job took one day, and clean up was well done. Its a textured composite roof,more wind-resistant than non-textured, which is an important feature in Houston. And the tiles are made of recycled materials, which is important to me. (I'd strongly suggest boarding your pets during roof installation.)
