MGreat. Roofers arrived when said they would, worked until the job was done, job was very high quality and the price was by a VERY large margin the best of all of the companies I asked to quote the job. They did a good job on cleanup, although I did ask them to come back and blow the roofing granules off my window sills - when I called they were very accommodating and came out to do the work promptly. I worked with David and he was excellent to work with -- I highly recommend the company and David in particular.

The guy was nice but there was no follow up

Called Doug on Monday he came Tuesday to do his estimate, which was very reasonable, and came wed. to make the repairs! he explained that the current penetrations seals is usually what contractors put on new construction rubber seal and plastic, in which they start leaking after 3-4 yrs due to the rubber shrinking and drying out!. he also changed out the bad shingles in serval places and changed out the damaged gutter. I will call him again and recommend them to anyone!

It was a bad experience. They estimated for two times as much work as other estimates that we got. The assessor did not even get on the roof and there was no damage to the roof at the area that he had pointed out and we had multiple roofers confirm that.

After interviewing 4 contractors, we selected M&M based on the price and David Boyle's easy going and open nature. David offered one of the best prices and was able to work with us on itemizing our wish list so we could determine what we could afford. We ended up being able to do everything we had hoped to accomplish! Each crew that came in was professional and did a great job. Since we typically do most remodeling work ourselves, this was the 1st time we had worked with a contractor and overall it was a good experience. I would hire David and his team again should a future project develop.

Nathan came to the house to bid the job. He was prompt, professional, friendly. When he completed the assessment, he explained what needed to be repaired and showed pictures of the issues. We agreed to have him complete the work. He was not able to make the time he committed to. But, he called in advance and we re-scheduled. He did show for the rescheduled time and completed the work. His employee even cleaned the pine needles off of roof and patio. When Nathan returned to collect final payment, he realized that part of the job was incomplete. He told me not to pay and that his crew would be here on Thursday to complete the job correctly and collect payment. WOW! That's all I can say!

David, from M and M, came out right away. He explained the repair process, his company, their capabilities, etc. He prepared an estimate and dealt with my homeowner's insurance adjustor. After insurance approved, the repairs were completed very quickly. The master carpenter reconstructed the broken window, and found the broken rafters. He explained how he repaired the rafters and how it would make the structure more secure. The house is a 70 year old restored home. The repairs, especially the window, look great. I am very happy with the way the process went, and I would use this company again.

The job began w/the windows (delivered a day ahead of schedule) and installed in less than a day. Four windows and one sliding glass door). The siding was installed the next day and only issue was the phone line got crimped (best guess) and needed repair. The siding was painted two days later. Total job took about a week and a half (including time for paint to dry). Phone issue was rectified and Keith followed up with minor overspray. Project went well. I will consider them for additional projects.

The work done as stated. It went well. No mess around the house.

Not the cheapest company but they did very good work. They give you a very detailed free estimates. They were on time and did what they were supposed to do. Everything has turned out great. We have had no problems whatsoever. I would recommend this company to anyone.

They are excellent. The new roof is called cool series, and it has granules that reflect the sun. They were pretty good. I never had to call them back again after the roof was installed. The price was expensive. They did an excellent job. They did on the hottest day of the summer.

Rick Shelton from M&M came to my house in the evening at my request so my husband could be home for the initial conference. Rick brought samples and went over various roofing opitions while he was here. He was very polite and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions - and believe me we asked a lot. Rick was also very kind and quick to respond with the many more questions we had for him after he left our home. Rick answers his voice mail/e-mail very quickly. He also printed out his proposal in our driveway the nigiht he came for the initial consultation! My husband and I interviewed a total of four roofing companies. We felt most comfortable with Rick from M&M. He offered a lot of things up front that we had to ask for from some other roofing companies such as installing a cricket on the brick chimney and hand-nailing the shingles. M&M also covered our entire pool during the job so there wasn't a chance of anything falling into it that could damage it. The guys that worked on the team with Chuy, job foreman, were very respectful. They cleaned up great and asked me several times if I saw anything they missed. I would highly recommend Rick Shelton and M&M for any roofing job. In fact, my neighbor saw what a beautiful job they did on my roof and is going to hire M&M to replace her roof. Thanks for a great job!

The team showed up with everything they needed to get the job done. They came in and covered my floors and furniture to protect it from any damage. They removed my old aluminum windows and frames and started installing my new energy efficient windows. They were very professional and very personable, made me feel comfortable from the moment they showed up. They were done in a matter of hours and it all looks great! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

They were very polite and professional. They took photos of the roof when they needed to do more work. They also took photos of the roof what it originally looked like so that I could see what they were going to do. It also helped me to decide whether we should go ahead with it or not, so that was fine. I didn’t have any problems with them. I had other quotes and I found them to be reasonable. I would use their services again in the future.

I was buying the house from the seller and the seller let me pick the roofing company. David Boyle came out within 24 hours to give the quote for the roof and some rotten wood repair. I already had 2 previous quotes, and David came out to give me an estimate, I tried to give the man $20 bucks to cover his gas and time, but he politely refused and told me that he was just doing his job! During the estimate he was very upfront and honest and described issues in the roof that could have potentially cost me more money. The time estimate was spot on, in fact, they finished a day early. Please note that the weather was ideal. I got to meet the crew, they were very friendly, and the leader of the group (Antonio) put a lot of attention to detail. I was very happy to see that they installed the roof by hand, without using pneumatic nail guns which would have damaged the shingles if in the hands of an novice. The job site was very clear during and after the roof installation. I have found less than 10 nails on the ground since completion! The office staff when you call in is very friendly and helpful. The president followed up afterwards with a call to make sure that I was happy with the job. Also, they honored their coupon as advertised after the estimate was performed by sending me a check in the mail! I am very happy with the service that I have received from M&M roofing and I would recommend them to my family, friends, and strangers.

I interviewed 27 roof specialists and went with M&M because of Mr. Steve and Mr. Shelton. Steve came out about two years before i actually replaced the roof. he did the inspection, and then told me that the roof's in fine condition and doesn't need any replacement for another 2-5 years. i pointed out the water stain in my ceiling and he says it came in from underneath the flashing during ike, but the roof's fine. just lost some shingles. I was in shock! did i hear it right? a sales representative just told me that i don't need to spend money? then, he says he'll just replace the missing shingles on my roof for $80. i agreed. after about an hour, he told me that he won't be charging me for any work since he was only able to do 1/2 of my roof's missing shingles. the back half was too slippery because the shingles are so worn, and the slope is too steep (2 story sloped to one). i was again, shocked! i thanked and him was very grateful. I also took his advice and waited two years. then we noticed the water stain was getting a bit larger. so in interviewed another 17 roofers, inlcuding M&M. this time Richard Shelton came out. He did the inspection of the my home's current roof condition, then wrote a bid, then talked to me. pointed out that the water's only leaking when there's strong wind during a rain storm, causing the water to get pushed side ways, and go under the flashing and that the roof could probably last another 1 to 3. that coincide with what Steve said 2 years earlier. i went ahead and had the roof replaced any ways, and my neighbor who also interviewed 8 roofers went with M&M for his house, and his mother-in-law's house. we're VERY happy with the outcome. Richard came out, and swept our yard for nails twice, and his crew did it twice before asking me to sign the work completion form. All in all, i'm so happy with their work quality, work ethics, and the owner's integrity (gotta be since he hired these two awesome guys) that they're going to do more work for us in our new home in a few months. :o)

Everything went well. The roofers performed exactly as promised, did excellent work, and cleaned up after themselves. I am very happy with their services.

M & M ROOFING & SIDING did the work well. they talked to us about what work they were doing. the experience was positive. and it was a relatively good price. i would use them again in the future.

All of the M&M personnel were extremely courteous and professional. End of year energy tax credit installations imposed some scheduling problems for them, but they handled it very well. I am retired, so I could accomodate their scheduling conflicts. Area manager Rick Shelton and installation foreman, John Wellman were super. Encountered problems with a garage window measurements twice & one master bedroom window sash. M&M + their window manufacturer/supplier took care of it all. We had a lower bid and two much higher bids for this work. We chose M&M because of Angie's list reports & local reputation. I am so glad we did! What could have been a painful experience with a less reputable contractor turned out to be a very satisfactory experience, re-affirming my belief in dealing only with companies that have the skills and that will stand behind their services and products. This experience made me a believer in the value of Angie's list.

From the first call to this company, they were professional. The estimator made an appointment and arrived on-time. Before he left, he provided a printed estimate that was clear, complete and concise identifying the specific materials to be used, right down to how many nails would be used per shingle. Once selected for doing the work, the crew showed up promptly and completed the work like real pros. Their clean-up of the work site was the best I've ever seen and the quality of the work was superior. Several days later, I was contacted by the owner of the company asking if everything was satisfactory. Overall, my wife and I were very pleased and I would recommend this company to my friends and neighbors.

We knew that we needed a new roof and wanted to replace some of the rotten wood siding and repaint our house and garage. Dave Boyles, the M&M representative, worked with us to come up with an estimate for the job. In looking hard at our house and talking to Dave and other contractors it became clear that the wood siding was all in pretty bad shape and had to go. More than the other contractors that we talked to Dave worked with us to change to look of our house in a way we really liked. We went through several iterations of what kind of siding to use and how to redo our window boxes and upstair dormers. Having spent so much time working with Dave we were pleased to see when the job began that he was there most days to oversee the work. Overall the quality of the work was very high. We've had a problem as long as we've owned the house with leaks around our upstairs dormers. We went with a metal roof on the flat section below the dormers. We've had several hard rains since the new roof went in and not a drop of water in the house. They did a really nice job of framing the windows and rebuilding the window boxes. We had a two color paint job and it came out very nice. The painters made a couple of changes to how they painted the trim on their own initiative that really looked good. The clean up was thorough. All in all we are very satisfied with the work. M&M are somewhat more expensive than their competitors, but in my opinion the quality of their work and the fact that the project went smoothly and without hassles was worth the cost.

It took a couple visits to isolate the problem, but they believe they found the source of the leak and have it repaired. I will not full know if it is solved for several months.

Was very impressed. Houston rains delayed start, but when they began they worked straight through. Original estimate was 2 days, but it took closer to 4. But the heat in the middle of the day was brutal on a roof top with no shade and no wind. They took long lunches, but worked late till dusk. Very impressed with them and with Travis D. my contact, who was careful to stay in touch and who quickly answered any questions I had. This is a quality operation.

I used Angie's List to find M&M. After receiving 6 different quotes, we decided to go with M&M. Their quote was middle of the pack. We went with M&M because after meeting with the contractor in charge, John Wellman, we liked how were able to meet the person in charge of the project from beginning to end and John was able to address concerns we had and was able to tell us directly how he would fix these things once the project was started. We compared that to other companies who just sent a salesperson to give us a quote. We noticed that M&M had no complaints via Angie's list and had a great BBB rating. Unfortunately, while M&M might have been business since 1983, John Wellman, their contractor has not been! M&M is just a front for contractors. Each contractor is assigned a specific geographic area based on where they live. We got John. While we met John and he is a very nice person, his contractor skills, his leadership role as supervisor to his employees and his unprofessionalism turned out to make this a very bad experience with this company. I considered this a big project, it was $12000! I was amazed when John came out the week prior to starting this project and told me that he would be done in 3 or 4 days depending on the weather. I thought a week or two, so I didn't get my hopes up on that. But the project took 9 weeks!!! John told me his "siding" crew would be here. His siding crew consisted of him, an 18 year old worker still in training and another contractor friend. When asked where his "siding" crew was, I was told that were busy on another job and had another job after that - and that it would be quicker with this crew. By now all my siding was ripped off my house, so I didn't have a choice to wait for the real crew. I wasn't in a hurry to start, so if my proposed start date conflicted with their siding crew, why couldn't John gave me the option of waiting, I would have. I was also told by other companies, that when removing siding, they only remove enough siding to replace that day. M&M removed our entire house. Our house didn't have sheathing, so that left just some torn tar paper and insulation open to the weather. I would see birds flying through our attic. It took 10 days for our house to finally be wrapped in house wrap to make it at least somewhat waterproof! Thank goodness it didn't rain that first week. John's supervisory skills are very lacking. Since his crew was short, he needed some help. Another kid, 20 or so years old came down the street looking for a job. Next day he was in charge of the 18 yr. old and his brother while John was away for the day. I went out to see their job they doing and could tell the spacing was off on the clapboards. I mentioned using a guide block/gauge for the required exposure. The new 20 yr old supervisor shrugged that off. He said they would fix the spacing. After they left I went onto the roof with a tape measure and measured the exposure, it was supposed to be 7". One row was 6 1/4, next 8, then next one side 8, other 6 1/2, and so on. Every row. It all needed to come down. I told John, and he did agree, all of that work, an entire side of the house ruined. It all came down, and with Hardy, it's not forgiving like wood, it just snaps when it comes off, so all that was ruined. I can go on and on about each week and the never ending excuses from John Wellman. They all seemed plausible and reasonable at the time. But the project took 9 weeks vs. the less than 1 week quoted. Yes, I added on 300 sqft of roofing installation (already ready, bare plywood) and some additional trim work that was mentioned the week prior to starting this project when he told me it would be only a few days for the entire project. I tried calling the owner several times, each time was out of the office and he never returned my phone calls. I have never received a call from the owner like the M&M website states. While some people have had good experiences with M&M, I think that is selection of their luck with where they live or the project that was being done. I would never recommend M&M Roofing & Siding company to anyone. I would stay well clear of their company and especially if John Wellman is your contractor. I don't know if he has other expertise, but Hardy siding/trim, window installation and painting is definitely not one of them. Maybe roofing - the roof was done quickly and looks great. The siding/trim work is ok, but I had to point out so many different repairs to make it satisfactory. It's this unprofessionalism that got to us. When you hire a professional, you don't expect to have to look after single thing is done and make sure it was done and done in the way you wanted. Most people can't climb up on roofs and inspect the project. I was able to and I was able to know when it wasn't done right. But, for some that is not possible and that is where I worry this company would take advantage of you.

We had a few things that needed to be fixed. First we had a bay window that needed rotted wood replaced as well as wood around the eave of the house. Next, the house needed to be painted and finally a new roof. We had other quotes, but was uncomfortable with them for too many reasons. Although M&M did not get back to me immediately, I was happy that we had waited for them. Once I met David, the Area Manager, visited with him, and finally got the qoute from him, we knew M&M was the company we wanted to deal with. NO high pressure sales, and a great quote!!! The guys did an incredible job. My house looks fantastic. The wood has been replaced with either hardiplank or has been covered with a pre-painted drip edge. The house was power washed and has been beautifully painted. The painters were very careful, they even took the time to cover a car in my neighbors driveway to protect it. And the roofers were fantastic! They were here by 6:15am to get prepared and were working on the roof by 7. Hand nailing each shingle. They put in a full day and would stay until the perimeter of the house was clean. The roof looks super!!! We appreciate all the time and effort they all took to make sure our house is picture perfect. We have not had any rain yet, but are sure there will be no issues. If you need any work done, don't hesitate to use M&M Roofing, Siding, and Windows!!!
