The M & M crew just left our house (7:30 pm on 10/23/12) after completing a complete roof replacement (about 45 squares of new shingles) on our ~4300 sq. ft. house in two days. We are absolutely thrilled with the look and quality of our new GAF Camelot II roof, but also with the courteous, professional and skilled work performed and the timeliness of the job from initial contact, to estimate, to job start and completion, to the phenomenal cleanup. It was truly one of the best "trades" (construction, electrical, plumbing, etc.) experiences we have ever had. Bernard Contello (M &M's Houston area manager) provided us with prompt and accurate estimates of the job. He responded to every question we had in a straight-forward, professional manner without resorting to any high-pressure or "up-selling" tactics. As a result, we chose an upgraded shingle from merely replacing the roof with the same original shingle with no feeling of having been pressured into something we really didn't need or want. It was totally our decision based upon straight-forward data Mr. Contello provided us at our request - - no sales pressure. In the removal of the old roof, M & M crew found multiple vent penetrations through the roof that were NOT connected to the actual vent stacks in the house when it was originally constructed. They corrected all of those with the same quality materials and attention to detail the crew exhibited throughout the job. And they repaired the one joint in our otherwise "continuous no-seam gutter" which had begun to leak. We are absolutely thrilled with the look and quality of the finished project. From start to finish, this was quality project carried out by skilled, courteous and professional workers in a timely manner at a fair price. It just doesn't get any better.

Crew arrived on time and removed the rotted portion of the roof. Rotted area was replaced with new material and then the new singles were placed on the roof. The grounds were cleaned and they left after a couple of hours.

From the initial estimate to completion the job could not have been more professional. Mike and his crew did an outstanding job with the installation and the clean up afterwards. Prices were competitive and they offered a discount for cash payment. At one point during the installations he weather turned inclement and Mike called his foreman and came right over to ensure that our home would not suffer any water damage. He literally got up and ran out the door during the middle of dinner. After the job was had been completed the owner called us to make sure we were happy with the work and the company overall. We could not have been more pleased. I have since given their business card to several colleagues. I would absolutely recommend them without hesitation.

Honest, and professional . Mike who contracted the job didn't try to sell me anything. Roof still has another 5 years so he told me that. I did need siding so Mike provided an estimate. Mike's price was competive with 4 other companies who just suggested to paint and/or use hardie siding for almost the same price. ( I already had some vinyl that I was happy with so no need to put on Hardie). Doug and his team did a wonderful job on the siding. They paid attention to detail and even fixed a couple of places on the old vinly siding. They were on time and worked all day (it was extremely hot). They took care with the trim and painted areas that I requested before putting up the siding. They cleaned up each day after leaving my property. They pressure washed my house. Mike checked with me daily onto see if I had any concerns or questions. Gutters are wonderful and details were handled. Great Company. Would hire again.

Working with Joe Harris was a true pleasure. Joe was always available via cell phone and or responded very timely to my voicemails and emails. I felt completely comfortable giving M&M Roofing & Siding my business due 100% to just talking with Joe. It is an absolute guarantee M&M Roofing & Siding will be #1 on my list when I need a roofing contractor.

when the new roof was put on they were to replace all the old flashing ,come to find out they never replaced it around chimney and that is where it leaked.If I hadn"t gone into my extra room where my grandson was sleeping I woulld not have noticed the water coming down the wall.It had to be doing ot for quite some time because there was a bubble full of it..Would never use or recommend them to anyone

Overall pleased with the work. They did the work as stated and cleaned up afterwards. Only issue I had was getting them out to house, however, they did state before hand they were very busy, and would do the best they could. Work looked good and no more leaks!

Our salesman was very knowledgeable and professional. They did the job in one day and as promised. They took the time to go through all my questions and explain things to us. The customer service is great and they definitely take care of their customers. They did a wonderful job and it looks great!

The sides of my fireplace started to leak during the heavy rains in mid July. Contacted 2 roofing companies and decided to go with M & M. Rick came over to give an estimate and was very polite and knowledgeable. The chimney was re-flashed on July 23rd by 2 workers. It took about 3 hours to finish and they were very polite. A few weeks later the owner Mr. Moncure called and asked about my experience... I was very pleased. I would definately use them again.

I called three roofing contractors here in Lake Charles and one in Texas for estimates on a new roof. The most professional one being M&M Roofing out of Texas. They were quick to schedule a time and estimator Travis went over many different options along with leaving his company folder of products that were to be used. After receiving four bids we went with M&M Roofing whose price was in the middle. Travis told me they were booked for a few weeks on other jobs but would let me know a start date asap. Travis called a couple weeks later and gave me a date the material would be delivered and the start date the day after. The three man crew was here just after 7am and tore off the entire old roof and felted it. They spent the next two days putting on the new roof and it's awesome. These guys worked from 7am-ish to 8pm three days straight in unbelievable heat only stopping to each lunch in their a/c cooled truck. I was amazed as was my neighbours at their pace in such blazing heat. When they were done they cleaned up every little speck of anything roofing and rolled the entire perimeter of the house with big rolling magnets for any nails. Travis stopped by daily and walked the property in the end for his own personal inspection. I want to thank M&M Roofing for a beautiful roof and a pleasant experience and also Travis.... Do yourself a big favour when looking for that Lake Charles roofing contractor and give Travis a call, these guys are the real deal.

I really liked M&M for a number of reasons: they pointed out how important attic ventilation is for the life of your roof, they declined to give a bid for repairs, saying it wasn't worth it as the shingles wouldn't match, etc. My salesman, Rick Shelton, was very pleasant, reachable and knowledgeable. He was not pushy and I liked the way he explained things. He was present at the start and end of the 2 day job (each day) and I appreciated that M&M does not require money up front or at all until the completion of the project. They worked with me on price and did an excellent job with cleanup afterwards. All in all, a very positive experience.

The repair was done very quickly once weather permitted, and the roof repair has fixed our leak. I was very impressed with their customer service and effort to ensure quality service. I was in direct communication via email with one of their service managers for scheduling the actual repair and he was even responding to my email while he was on vacation to ensure our roof was repaired. I also got a call from the owner of the company personally a couple of weeks later to ask how the service went!

My initial contact with the company was not good. The representative came out promptly but did not provide us with a quote and did not follow up. So, understandably I wrote a less than flattering review on Angie's list. What was surprising is the president of the company, Doug Moncure, called me personnally, apologized profusely and offered to send the representative back out to do the estimate. The representative came out promptly, provided the estimate quickly, provided samples of the roofing material so I could choose the color and style and followed up. We got three estimates and M&M offered the best price. The work was scheduled. The work took about 3 days (large house) and each night, the crew would clean the grounds and ensure everything was neat. They protected the shrubs and we did not have any damage to the landscape. After the job was done, we noticed a small area in the roof line that did not look right. They sent someone out that day and he quickly fixed the problem. I have to give M&M a lot of credit for owning the issue and turning a bad experience into a great experience. So, thank you, Mr. Moncure.

I asked them to come out and give me an estimate for a leak in my roof. They came out and sealed some vents. The next time it rained my roof was leaking again. The leak caused damage to my ceiling on my upper floor. I have made several calls to them to have them come back out to fix the leak. I was told that they would call me back. I never received a call back. I have left several messages and no response. Update: After realizing that I was unhappy with the work and responses. I received several phone calls apologizing of the delays. A new person was sent to the house to look at the issue and the repairs were made in timely manner. I received several followup phone calls after the next big storm as well to make sure that the problem had indeed been fixed. After everything was said and done I was very happy with the service that was provided and the curtesy of the people.

Our roof leaked due to woodrot in the decking and we had interior damage to sheetrock. We needed to replace our roof quickly. David came out within 24 hr of being contacted and was v. informative , straight forward and patient with our questions. We loved that they could both replace the roof and take care of the interior damage as well. Work was done as stated and within agreed upon time frame

They called me back immediate. My contact was quick, quick, quick – they even brought papers by my house after hours to over. They had the job done within 3 days of contract. After the work was done, I couldn’t tell anyone had been here! It was completely cleaned up! Every day they before they finished they tidied up my property which was great & my roof looks beautiful! Michael McCollom, my contact, was a great business man, prompt, & just a gentleman - It was nice doing business with him. The crew was great too!

I contacted 3 roofing companies to repair the roof a room that was added to our house by a previous owner. We bought the house about three years ago and never had any problems but earlier this year we started having a couple of leaks that eventually damaged the dry wall of the ceiling. I do not remember our inspector telling us that the slope of the roof on this room was too gentle to use shingles. All 3 contractors I contacted for pricing mentioned the same cause for our leaking problems but Rick, from M & M was the only one willing to consider options different that a complete repair. He mentioned a product that perhaps could be applied on top of the shingles to avoid having to remove them and therefore reduce the overall price. At the end the product supplier said that this product would not work and therefore the only solution would be to remove the shingles and install a modified bitumen roofing (in rolls).M & M provided with the cheapest quote which complemented with Rick's knowledge and prompt responses to my inquires, making my decision to select them easy. The job was performed at the day and time that Rick schedule it. I went to the house to inspect how the job was progressing and the crew was very friendly to my questions. They found that one of the wood planks that support the shingles had rotten and replaced. A vent that was in the roof was removed and they put a wood patch so someone walking on the roof would not step into it. They guarantee their work for 36 months but hopefully this will last much longer than that.Overall, I am very satisfied with the job they performed. I asked for a quote to replace the siding of the house and I wish their prices would have been a bit cheaper so I could have given them also the siding contract but unfortunately they were about 20% higher that another company with high reputation in Angie's list.

Very efficient removal of existing roof; excellent cleanup during contract work and once job was complete; final result looks great. The roofing crew had to move quickly; after weeks of relatively little rain, we had a heavy rain the night following the second day of work. The crew had completed the job by working late and had done a good job of cleaning up.

The process was very easy from start to finish. I needed repair to my roof in a 3 story town home. This was not a huge job however it was difficult to find companies willing to place someone on a roof so far off the ground. Those companies that were willing also required a large minimum payment. I made a request for estimate on the internet and was contact the next day. Within 2 days a representative was at my home and provided the estimate after an inspection. Not only was on problem fixed that same day, they also sealed other areas of my rood that should also potentially leak in the future. About 2 hours after the job was finished, I received a follow up phone call asking if I was satisfied with the service and payment was issued at that time. Great experience overall.

They have pretty much finished the work. We are happy with what they did.

The siding repairs went fine but they have yet to fix the leaks in the gutters. I have given up on them after three months.

Went well, everything looks great, and I think they did a great job. The ONLY "bad things" I have to say were the following: I found one of my external lamps (on the house) had been broken and I was missing one screen. *** I also would like to say that I was given a credit for the light fixture and they have ordered the screen for me. And when they return to install the screen, if I would like to purchase new external lights (which I will be doing) they will install them at no additional charge. So as far as I am concerned as long as this happens then I will be extremely satisfied.

They were excellent. We got three quotes and they were right in line. They weren’t the lowest but they offered better services that I thought were good too. I will use them again.

It was excellent. He had his guys out there when he said he was going to. They started at 8 o'clock in the morning. We had a pretty good storm about 3 weeks after the roof was replaced and we had not had any complaints. So, obviously he did the job correctly.

I found M & M Roofing and Siding on Angie's List. We chose them becuase they had some great reviews. We got three different estimates, and actually they were the highest of the three (actually did more work than the other contractors so overall probably not the most expensive).We chose to work with M and M because, Keith was extremely professional prompt, explained exactly what was needed for the job. Keith, gave an on the spot estimate, advised the exact time frame that it would take to do the job! Everything went as schedule and the job was finished earlier than estimated. So happy to no longer have any leaks! IWe highly recommend this company and will use their services again.
