Great...he showed up on time. Looked over the roof inside/out...located leaks and also made suggestions on things zi could do to improve on my energy bill....window seals.

I obtained several proposals for a complete new roof job, and M&M was by far the most professional in their presentation. While several of the contractors who bid provided a comprehensive disclaimer listing of all the things they wouldn't do and wouldn't be responsible for, M&M took the opposite approach and focused on the quality service they offer, a commitment to stand their work, and references of other jobs they've done in the area underscoring many successful years in business, Although the price quoted was higher than the average of the other bids, I had a much higher level of confidence in M&M's integrity, and was not disappointed. They provided outstanding service from the start, did a great job on the roof, and were very conscientious about minimizing the mess while in-process and cleaning up afterwards. Once all said and done, I received 2 follow up calls to ensure I was satisfied with the job. This is a class act!

I had M&M out to fix a nasty roof leak in my hot water vent. They fixed it right the first time, were punctual, professional and followed up with a call from the owner to make sure I was happy.

Removed existing roof, installed new roof, replaced wood as needed and added additional attic support where needed.

I was thoroughly impressed with the job M & M did on my chimney. A pesky raccoon had pushed through the original siding and made a home in my attic. I had the raccoon removed and hired M & M to replace the siding with hardiplank. Nathan was the professional I had the pleasure of working with. He explained everything clearly and explained all options. They did an OUTSTANDING job! In addition, they left the work site pristine. What I liked most was that they were very knowledgeable, professional, and only did the work that needed to be done. Yes, I am certainly going to use them for additional work I have planned.

I called M&M and received a call back in a timely manner. We set up a couple of appointments for an estimate but due to weather had to reschedule. They always called in a timely manner to reschedule and always very courteous. They even called when running 5 mins late to let me know he was 5 mins behind. I have never had this from a company before. It showed a great deal of respect and courtesy for the possible customer. Once we got the estimate work was done within a week and very well done. Leak was fixed and they did some extra repairs at no extra charge. The price was not the lowest but with the respect they showed me by calling me to let me know he would be 5 mins late 15 mins before our scheduled time won me over. Will be sure to go back to M&M in the future.

Nathan was the salesman and project manager. Nathan was very professional, kept me informed and managed the timeline. There was a long period between when Nathan gave me the quote and when I decided to do the project (like 8 months). The original quote was honored. After I had signed the contract about three weeks passed and then I got a call from Nathan asking if they could start the next day. That was OK with me but I can see where that approach may not have worked for some people. There was one other minor problem where I thought that the siding that was not replaced would be painted under this contract, but I was mistaken because the contract called for the new siding to be painted. Nathan was very apologetic for the misunderstanding and met me halfway on the addtional cost. I am very pleased with the quality of M & M's work. M & M was a little higher than another quote I had but I felt it was worth the cost because they were so dependable and provided such good quality of work. I already have plans for another project to replace the last of the original siding as soon as I get some windows replaced and a patio door installed and I will use M & M again.

Everything went very well, and as promised. Bernard was the project coordinator, and was responsive and did everything we requested. The roofing was completed without any issues. We initially picked a paint color that we ended up not liking. Fortunately the crew was only half done when we caught it. Bernard allowed us to take a few days to pick new colors and paint swatches on the house to see what color we really liked. The men who did the gutter work planned better locations for the downspouts than the previous gutter configuration. And they all seemed to be installed pretty securely. We received several other quotes: one was less expensive, another was a little less expensive, and the last was quite a bit more. Overall a pretty painless and enjoyable experience.

Perfect! They did exactly what they said they would do and cleaned up afterwards. I would recommend them to anyone who has a roof problem.

I hired M & M Roofing to paint the exterior of my house because I had hired them about two years ago to put on a new roof and was satisfied with that job. This entire painting job was sloppy and careless, and I will not use this company again for painting. I was particularly concerned about paint being sprayed onto my almost new roof and I wanted the work done with brush and roller so that my roof would not be damaged, but was told that in order to get a smooth finish they would have to spray and they would mask off the roof. So I agreed. There is now paint spray on the roof, the windows, some areas of the brick. There is paint splatter everywhere, on the roof, the brick, the wood deck, the driveway, the porch bench, the front porch, the landscaping. Two porch light fixtures were to be removed, siding underneath painted, and new fixtures installed. One light fixture they painted the siding underneath, the other light fixture they did not. Makes me wonder what other short cuts they took that I am not aware of. I found the two light bulbs from the fixtures in the shrubbery the day after they cleaned up and left. There was a lot of touch-up work required due to missed areas, incomplete coverage, poor workmanship such as uneven lines, blue tape left (visible) on the roof. Red paint from the lintels was splattered on the white garage door so parts of the garage door had to be repainted. They still missed two areas (where blue tape and brown paper had been painted into the trim) and had to return again to fix those areas. This job was rated D and not F because they were always courteous about doing whatever touch-ups I requested, and I am still satisfied with the new roof they put on my house two years ago. Some things though cannot be undone, such as the paint on the roof shingles.

A few minor issues came up during the work as they always do. M&M resolved the minor issues to my satisfaction. They came when they said they would and were very responsive to communications to complete the work. After 3 previous contractors, I finally have a roof that does not leak.

We contacted M&M Roofing based on the excellent reviews on this site. Mike returned my call within hours and met with us the following week to bid on a total roof replacement. He was extremely professional in his manner and in the bid he provided. Of the four roofers we contacted, what set Mike apart was his understandability: he answered all our questions thoughtfully and clearly. When he discovered our interest in energy efficiency, he quoted two options for radiant barriers. He also measured all of our windows before he left, should we be interested in window replacement. We ultimately went with another company due to price point, but our experience with M&M was all positive!

We were very pleased with the work done by M&M. Nathan was a pleasure to work with, knowledgable, patient, thorough. He helped us walk through the entire arrangement, came out each day to check the work being done by the teams. He talked with us about every small concern. All the workers were professional and motivated to make sure everything was completed on time and correctly. There were some areas where our framing had rotted beneath the old siding and the teams ensured we were in the loop regarding any changes to our pricing arrangements as a result. Finally, when we were disappointed with the trim color that we had at one point selected, but had tried to switch out resulting in some confusion, Nathan repainted all the trim at no cost to us, stating it was very important to him that we were very satisfied with the final product. We're glad we read all the great reviews about M&M here on Angie's List, as that is what prompted us to call them, and we couldn't be more pleased with the result.

Quality: very good (congratulations to the workers who performed the job!) Pricing: reasonable. Legal Process: Low; I had to push in order to get my (signed by them) contract copy. For this reason I was about to cancel.

I have used M&M in the past for my roof and Hardiplank, so I felt confident about the window job. Very happy with the company, the windows, and the work day. |Fully recommend them.

They diagnosed it quite accurately and fixed it. The price was fixed. He had not choice. The smallest amount he could do was $350. I guess that's his price for coming out and looking at it then sending two people out to do it. Since then, I haven't had any leaks during heavy rain.

This company is extremely professional. Timely communication. Pleasant demeanor. Fair prices. Great work. Seriously, what else is there to ask?

They were our 2nd quote. The first company could not find out what was wrong or leak was and offered to just replace the lower roof and flashing even though it looked sound. M & M climbed to the top of the upper roof and found the source of the leakage. Water was coming through the upper roof and down inside the house with heavy rains. He offered two repair options, a basic repair and a second option that would involve a gutter to be installed. Did not push additonal repairs and felt the rest of our roof was sound. We chose the basic repair. The job was done within 48 hours while we were at work. Left no trace. He personally came by to pick up the check after the job and discussed what was found. Called two months later to see if we had any leakage since then. Good service, honest and professional. I would use them again.

They finished prior to the date that was promised. We had gotten other bids in the beginning of our search but felt that the other bids were not value added. We liked the fact that the company was Hardie Plank certified. We were happy to refer him to others because we feel confident that he and his team will do the best job. The company was good about following up after the job was completed to make sure that we were totally satisfied with the work.

We were very impressed with this company's service, level of professionalism and attention to detail from start to finish. We would not hesitate in recommending this company to anyone needing roof repairs or replacement. We had met with several other roofers, asked a lot of questions, and spoke to and received references from two major roofing supply houses in Houston, before making our decision to use M&M roofing. We are glad we invested the time in doing our homework, because we learned quite a bit during the process and also became aware of the many things that could go wrong if you don't hire a professional roofing contractor who carries workman's compensation insurance and has skilled workers. An unlike others who may work out of their truck, M&M roofing has an actual office address. Therefore, if there are any issues that may come up after installation, you have a better chance at having it properly resolved by a company who is established rather than an individual you just have a cell phone number for. Also, Nathan who provided us the bid was more than happy to answer all of our questions and even provided us a list of addresses when we were having a difficult time deciding on whether we should go with his recommendation on the shingle color. Our home's brick color is not easy to match and even a friend, an interior designer, was stumped on the best color to select for our home. We knew if we selected the wrong color, that unlike paint, we could not go back later and change it. We finally decided we would just trust Nathan and go with his recommendation and all we can say is that we are so glad we did. The color he selected (slate) is absolutely perfect and the best match for our colored brick and the crème wood trim on our home. We are very happy with our new roof and the excellent service we received from M&M.

A dryer vent on the roof was leaking and we called the company to repair it, however we discovered that the vent continued to recently with the heavy rains that we have not had in a while. We called the company again to come out and look at it, but the work was out of warranty so they said they would write up and estimate. It took 2 weeks for us to hear back with an estimate and the quote seemed fair but since the roof leaked after they repaired it the first time we decided to call another company for a second opinion. The second company did an estimate and the suggested that the vent be replaced because it was leaking under the flashing and it looked like someone had just tried to caulk around the flashing instead of replacing the vent. They also brought my attention that the vent cap was not replaced the first time as indicated by M & M and the original vent cap was still on the vent and the openings were pinched down in an attempt to keep side blowing rain from getting in; however, this did not solve the problem and the entire vent should have been replaced the first time. Of note, the first time the repair took place a year ago it took over a week to get the written estimate and service contract. Once we did get the service contract signed, we heard nothing and I needed to follow up and they said that the rain at the time was delaying the work, which is understandable, however I contacted them on July 3rd inquiring when the would come out to do the repair and I still had not heard anything as of July 21st so I followed up again and this is the email response I received ?Sorry, it's already been done. He did it before I left last Monday. Look up there and you'll see a small 6" square vent in place of the tall vent. ? I thought it was odd for them to just come out and do the work without first notifying the homeowner that work will be commencing and then not calling to let us know that the work was complete not to mention that recently we realized that the same original vent was there that was there before they supposedly replace it the first time. I will not do business again with this company and I would have written this review sooner had I realized that the leak was not fixed and that the original vent cap was still on the vent.

I sent to them an email requesting an estimate. Rick promptly called to make an appointment the next week on October 15. He arrived as promised and we went over what I wanted done. Everything went very well, I thought. Never heard back from them even after sending an email to inquire as to the status. I still keep checking my email, thinking they will contact me. Guess it's time to give up.

As my first use of Angie's List since I have been a member (1.5 years) due to cancer and a broken leg which will not heal, although it finally has begun slowly. We called M&M Roofing, Siding and Windows to stop a leak just in front of our fireplace downstairs. A new roof was completely redone with new insulated decking, even replacing the support beams in the attack to prevent bowing, but somehow messed up the flashing around the chimney. Rick sent a gentleman out to do the repair within a day and did an excellent job. Shortly afterward we had a strong storm for several hours, but continued to rain for 24 hours and not one drop made to the ceiling. The original roofer blamed the leak on several other problems, including a chimney topper with a new spark arrester, but didn't help, also had the flashing checked out, again no help. I have called Rick back at M&M to price new double pane, double hung window. Thanks Rick and Angie's List
