They were fantastic! The price was reasonable and they were over here so quick, I couldn't believe it! Javier was the carpenter that did the work.

First and foremost the crew of M & M Roofing did a great job on replacing the roof on our main house. They were on time and were able to complete they job on a single day. If you have a roof job that needs replacement, I would recommend them, but I would double check measurements to make sure they priced out the job properly. They delivered so much additional materials that their workers took some home and a few days later the PM came back to pick up the remaining material. On the other hand, as part of our estimate, we asked them to repair the roof on the back structure without replacing it. They responded with the following: "Yes sir. We will include repair at no cost for the cottage if we are going to do the replacement of the main structure." However, when they moved to fix the roof, they stated that it required substantial repair and would be at an additional cost. As a business owner, I understand that sometimes things change and we don't uncover issues until we do a much closer inspection, so I paid for the additional work. They quoted me on about 200 sq ft section of repair. They repaired it, and it looked great. However, on the first rain after the repair, it leaked. I called back, and his response was that his crew said the roof was shot. The problem with this statement is that they had three opportunities to let me know that the entire thing needed to be replaced (during the first measurement, when they decided it needed substantial work and finally when they performed the repairs). Instead, they simply patched an 18 sq ft section (3 by 6 - measured) and didn't inform me of the needed repairs. Again, if you need a roof replacement, they will do a great job but do NOT use them for repairs. Remember, get everything in writing and double check their measurements. 01/22/2017 - Update - I accidentally posted this review to M & M Roofing located in New York instead of the M & M Roofing Co. Inc in Houston, TX.

I would use them again in the future.

The work went very well. There were issues initially get the work scheduled because my service rep was out of town, so the response was extremely late compared to when the initial contract was signed. All was taken care of in the end. The work was beautiful and have received many compliments.

M&M scheduled a time for Steve to come out, view the project and take measurements. This he did, went back to his truck, spent 15 minutes or so, and then returned with printed quotes for each of the projects. The quotes included materials lists, time-line, financing data, warrantee data and of course the price. Based on price and past experience we went with M&M for all of the projects. M&M performed all the individual projects efficiently, professionally and individual crews were a delight to work with. Clean-up was excellent. Steve Pike was a regular visitor during the time the work was being performed and made sure we were happy with the quality of work, and addressed any minor issues we may have had. He took all the stress out of the projects, and we will request him to project manage future work. He arranged for TWIA inspections and made sure we received all warrantees on completion of the work. We have no hesitation in recommending M&M to friends and family.

They did an excellent job! They followed up with us after the work was done to make sure everything met our expectations which showed us how much this company cares about their clients. This hasn't been the case with other companies we have used in the pass. We will continue to use M&M for any future work our home may need.

Working with M&M on a roof replacement was easy and straightforward. The job went well and we were very comfortable with the entire process with M&M. It was amazing to watch how well the crews worked with one another and I would strongly recommend them.

They really did a good job replacing our roof. I guess it lasted through the years. It was covered by insurance but they were able to get all the paper work done which is good, we didn't have to worry about all that. It's been many years ago but I don't recall having any kind of issue with them. They were really good about cleaning up after themselves. If they kept the roof hanging we probably wouldn't use this so I guess they were persistent enough to respond and take care of us so I don't have complaints. I guess they were good, because like I said, if they weren't responsive enough I wouldn't have used them, we would've just said, "Oh forget that, we don't wanna wait too long." Would definitely use them in the future.

Fine. We learned, in the middle of installation, that the new skylights we purchased were a tad too small for the existing space of the original skylights. M&M was able to make adjustments to the openings, making the skylights fit perfectly. This is the second time we have used M&M Roofing. Because of their professionalism, responsiveness, and quality of work, we will continue to use them for any future roofing, siding, etc. needs.

Overall everything went very well. I couldn't be more happy with all the work that was done. As soon as the project began it started raining almost everyday. Rick was great with keeping my updated with the status of the job and of any expected delays due to the weather. At some point I will be replacing my windows as well. Whenever I do I will definitely contact M&M for a quote. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to replace their roof and gutters or paint the exterior of there home.

A little challenge in scheduling, but we easily worked through it. One of the workers tried to push a load of trash wider than the gate through the gate and broke a post. They reduced their price to compensate for the broken post.

M & M Roofing, siding and windows' Dave Mase bid very competitively for equivalent work and materials. I did not take his bid. (I did not take the lowest bid, either). I won't say which Angie's List people did get the contract, but it was close. I'm having the windows and a patio door replaced. My decision is based mainly on the manufacture’s warranty and mechanical options.

The work went slow with some expected delays, some not! The sub-contractors M & M Roofing Co Inc. hired to do the work on the rebuilt of deck, decking stairway and roof under decking were deplorable. The stairway leading to the deck had to be rebuilt three times because the contractor built the deck so that our very expensive Trek decking was not warrantied by the manufacturer as well as the stairway being dangerous to walk on. The same contractor installed the very expensive Trek decking off center line and it had to be redone. The same contractor installed a flat roof under the decking that leaked from the very start. The same contractor installed deck railing and a gate. The gate did not close from the very beginning and the contractor did not ever repair it The sub-contractor stated it was the hinge that broke when they made an attempt to fix the gate. Gate finally began to drag on the expensive decking and we had the gate disassembled to find out it was cut incorrectly built from the beginning and could not be repaired, the hinges were fine. We had new gate installed at our expense. The original gate was two years old and never worked properly. Now for the worst part of the entire project. After a new metal roof installation, complete house siding and rebuild of decking area and other various repairs there is water leaking where it should not be. It was leaking at the completion of the project and was recognized by M & M Roofing Co Inc. The leaking continued for over a year before M & M Roofing Co Inc. addressed it when another leak began. M & M roofing over the past year has had multiple crews come and remove siding, roofing and decking but the leak continues. Over the past year a crew cut a book size piece out of the new metal roof with no apparent reason given in an attempt to repair leak. The contractor then caulked all around the area they cut in the roof, LOOKS HORRIBLE! Over the past year crews have cosmetically ruined the finished result appearance of the home by excessive caulking in an attempt to stop the leaking. We continued expressing the opinion that caulking and spray foam is not a permanent solution on top of being cosmetically not acceptable. The third floor decking was in good condition and was not part of the M & M Roofing Co Inc. project originally, but over the past year crews have cut, removed, caulked and damaged the decking in an attempt to resolve the leaking, which it did not. Three months ago we followed Angie’s List recommendations and advised M & M Roofing Co Inc. that we are going to file a negative review if they did not make this repair project a priority. Douglas Moncure called and stated he wanted this repair project completed more than we did and that we should feel confident that they are attempting to resolve the problems , still not fixed. After removing the decking again, removing some more expensive siding and of course more caulking the leak continues. We are told by M & M Roofing Co Inc. that they are frustrated and as of today have no date to begin additional repairs. The damage to our new expensive metal roof has not been repaired and we are being told by M & M Roofing Co Inc. that the contractor(think is sub-contractor) they hire to do the replacement of the roof panel is busy with other projects and can not give a start date for the repair. Three months M & M Roofing Co Inc. has had to schedule the repair with roof sub-contractor. We are writing this review to help others understand that M & M Roofing Co Inc., sub-contracted majority of the work out. Some contractors (Decking, decking roof and siding contractors)they hired did unprofessional work which resulted in the on going repairs and damage. Some of the crews were unprofessional with no regards to the damage they did to our home or the extent and expense of it. We have had so many strangers(contractors) come to our home in the past year only to find out from M & M Roofing Co Inc. that some of them are flakes and will not be back to fix the damage they caused(roof, siding, decking)or to proceed with repairs. The time we have to devoted to this repair over the past two years is tremendous! We went with M & M Roofing Co Inc. because of the excellent reviews on Angie’s List, BBB and the warranty. The project was paid in full before we noticed the first leak and the warranty is now obligating us to continue to let M & M Roofing Co Inc bring sub-contractors to our home and attempt to make the necessary repairs. This is not what we expected from this Angie’s List, BBB A rated company. I have Suggested to M & M Roofing Co Inc. to remove all aluminum wrapping, siding and decking they installed on the front of the house two plus years ago and reinstall as if it were a new job. Thats not happening!

They were excellent. They have done a series of work for us now and each time they have been great. I work with Mike in the Clear Lake area and he is always responsive to all our cares and concerns. I always have gotten a call and letter from the owner after work is completed to make sure we were happy. We recommend them now to our friends and family. Really good company.

I called for an estimate for a new roof. From my understanding, no one ever got on the roof but looked at it from satellite photos. I received a quote in a timely manner but the quote included replacement of my flat roof with a product called Hydro-stop. We are familiar with this product, did a little research on it which left more questions in our minds. We reached out to the sales representative by email and text but didn't have our questions answered. We needed to make a quick decision since our flat roof is leaking. We gave it a day, no response other than the sales rep was was in a meeting, so we decided to go with another company that was more responsive to questions and concerns. I called M&M based on the good reviews I saw on Angie's List. Perhaps this is a good company, perhaps the Hydro-stop product is a good product, but we will never know. I got the feeling that we were asking too many questions. Can't say I would recommend this company nor would I call them again for anything. I think good customer service is vital. Other roofers show my pictures of the problems and discussed the resolution. Not M&M. We got a quote for a new roof---no explanation.

This company did a superb job. All the crews that came out were wonderful. Chris, Sammie, Mario and Joel are great people to work with and I would highly recommend them. I always become stressed out when any work is done on the house, but with this crew I was relaxed with no worries. They all seemed to care, were courteous and kept the area clean while working. Its like they were working on their own home. If you need any work done, don't hesitate to use M & M Roofing. They stand behind their products 100 percent. In fact, you don't pay until you are completely satisfied. No down payment required until the work is completely done to your satisfaction. Again, I cant say enough. Their work says it all. SUPERB!!!!

Company came out and advised that I the roof had hail damage and I should contact my insurer. Handled the necessary steps with insurer and attempted to work with M&M, but was unable to get a response back from the company. Contacted M&M one final time to attempt to get a quote for the replacement -- as of 5/2016 still no response and no quote.

M&M was used by the previous owners of the house I purchased in December so I figured I would call them when water leaked from a ceiling light fixture in February or so. The technician came by and diagnosed the problem as as some minor caulking on my roof deck. I was skeptical but I am not a roofing expert and the technician supposedly checked everything. Of course, this didn't fix the problem and with the recent rains, we had a lot of water leaking into our house. My wife and I called at least 4 times to get them to come out to fix the issue once and for all. Each time we were told to expect a call from this person or that person within 24 hours to schedule a time for an inspection and quote. We are still waiting two weeks after our 4th follow-up call. I am not at all impressed with their work or their customer service

It blows my mind this company has great reviews on here!! I solely picked M & M roofing because of the reviews on Angie's List. They were on my roof for about 10 mins and a guy dropped a tool (caulking gun) that hit and cracked my front room window! (Along with damaging the screen). The guy immediately got on his cell phone. I went outside and he said don't worry, I will have a guy come over right away to fix this. They left soon after. He did not give me a receipt and I didn't sign anything....a week goes by, we call him, again a guy will come by today, nothing, we call him a few more times over the next few weeks until he stopped answering and the company itself wouldn't help either, they just told us to call him. And yes, shame on me for not posting a review sooner. I didn't realize the problem had grown, having a lot going on and then abruptly being out of country for 6 months we returned home to discover three leaks from the roof! So now I'm left with a broken window and a roof that leaks in 3 places. *we have spoken to the owner and look forward to resolving this with better customer service. This review will be modified after this situation is resolved.
