I originally called Budget to install a new spout and controls for my bathtub, and at both sinks and the kitchen sink. They quoted me a price, and I agreed to have it done. After completing the other work, they told me they were not able to drill holes in a cast iron tub. After having someone else drill the holes, I called Budget again. The price quoted was $420, which I felt was very high, but I ok'd it. They said one hole had to be redrilled and they left without doing the work. The man that drilled them for me was able to attach the spout by simply filing down a small part of the retaining nut. I now have to find someone to attach the water lines.

They were punctual and they did a good job. I would highly recommend them.

I'm glad to know about them and I trust them.

Three visits (by three different technicians) were required to complete the work as the first technician did not have the necessary equipment to perform the work because his truck was in the shop and two additional visits were required to repair previously completed work. The tub repair leaked again after I was told it was repaired, causing ceiling damage. After the second technician told me he rebuilt the sink, the technician on the third visit told me the sink leak could not be repaired because it would be too much trouble (not a cost effective use of his time) for him to try to find the parts.

Honest to G-d! These are the most honest and honorable plumbers I have ever dealt with in my 60 years!

I've used them for several years. I found out they started subcontracting. The guy who did my refrigerator was rude. When I told them they said they wouldn't give his information anymore but didn't have someone else to give me. I called for something else and no one ever showed up. I called back several times and still no one showed up. I was very surprised because I got good service from them in the past. The guy who did my plumbing was great and had great customer service.

Very nice, on time. Repair was made quickly.

They were nice, professional, and gave a written estimate. BUT the estimate was $1100 more expensive than the next highest estimate. Budget Service is clearly an oxymoron in this company's case.

Plumber was early. They gave me a 5-hour service window on the same day I called. Plumber got there before the start of the service window. That was fine, since another plumbing company had completely failed to show, twice (and still hasn't called). On the phone, the company quoted a flat rate (i.e., not hourly) of $147-187. When the plumber got a look, he said it would be the $187 because it was copper pipe and not PVC. My tenant was in danger of having her water cut off, so the price sounded okay. I ran for a quick lunch, came back to check. JR was wrapping up the repair. My tenant was delighted, and I was pleased to have the problem solved. Nevertheless, the job took less than an hour, which worked out to a pretty steep hourly rate. I asked if there were an alternate method of computing the bill. No, they charge flat rates, but he would charge the PVC rate since it went so fast. Would have paid less, hourly, but these guys are reasonable, professional & reliable.

Company responded and sent someone the next day (this was not an urgent task). Tech was on time, friendly, clear and courteous. Work was performed quickly, efficiently, and well. I was pleased and would use them again.

GOOD PLUMBERS AND GOT TO THE PROBLEM AND FIXED IT. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN. THEY DIAGNOSED AND FIXED THE PROBLEM.

WE WERE HAPPY WITH THE RESPONSE SINCE THE PIPE WAS BROKEN LATE FRIDAY EVENING. WE HAD TO SHUT OFF THE WATER MAIN AND HAD NO WATER IN THE HOUSE. WE CALLED BUDGET HOME SERVICES ON SATURDAY MORNING. FREDY TOLD US HE HAD ANOTHER JOB BUT WOULD BE AT OUR HOUSE IN 1 1/2 - 2 HOURS. HE ARRIVED WITHIN THE DESIGNATED TIME FRAME AND MADE THE REPAIRS QUICKLY. WE HAD TO PAY AN EXTRA $75 FOR SATURDAY WORK BUT IT WAS WELL WORTH THE MONEY.

THE COMPANY SENT A 2-MAN TEAM TO DO THE WORK. THEY WERE POLITE AND DID NOT HURRY TO COMPLETE THE JOB. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE WAY THE TOILET WORKS NOW.

JIMMY WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE GAVE TWO ESTIMATES FOR THE WORK BEFORE STARTING, AND ENDED UP USING THE LOWER PRICE. HE WORKED QUICKLY, EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM AND HIS REPAIR WORK WELL, AND LEFT THE AREA CLEAN. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE FROM THIS COMPANY.

THEY DID GOOD QUALITY WORK AT A GOOD PRICE. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL IN APPEARANCE, CAME OUT WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY GOT THE WORK DONE FASTER THAN I THOUGHT. GOT IT DONE IN 1 DAY. THEY DID HAVE TO COME BACK A SECOND DAY TO DO THE WATER SUPPLY VALVE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO SOMEONE ELSE.

ROY WAS ON TIME AND HELPFUL. HE WORKED HARD AND DID A GOOD JOB. HIS ESTIMATE WAS ACCURATE.

THE WORKMEN SHOWED PROMPTLY ON A SATURDAY MORNING, AND COMPLETED THE WORK IN A NEAT AND SPEEDY MANNER.

LARRY PERFORMED THE WORK ON THE BATHROOM SINK, DRIPPING FAUCET AND DRIPPING SHOWER HEAD. HE WAS VERY UP FRONT AND EXPLAINED PROBLEMS AS HE WENT ALONG. HE ALSO CHECKED OUT OUR HOT WATER HEATER, AS IT WAS VERY NOISY, AND ASSURED US THAT THERE WAS NOT A PROBLEM. LARRY AND BERTO RETURNED ANOTHER DAY TO REPAIR THE BATHTUB LEAK, WHICH INCLUDED CUTTING SHEETROCK IN THE MASTER BATHROOM TO REPAIR THE ABOVE LEAK. ALL WORK WAS COMPLETED AS REQUESTED WITH NO PROBLEMS. BOTH WORKERS WERE VERY POLITE. OVERALL, A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN.

FREDDY AND GORDO WERE GREAT. VERY PROFESSIONAL, POLITE. DISPATCHER WAS AWESOME. THEY ACTUALLY CALLED TO LET ME KNOW WHEN THE PLUMBER WOULD ARRIVE, AND IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED AS THEY PROMISED! WORKERS WERE ON TIME, KEPT ME WELL INFORMED.

THEY WERE USUALLY ON TIME AND VERY POLITE. THEY WERE REASONABLY PRICED CONSIDERING THE LARGE AMOUNT OF DIGGING REQUIRED. ALTHOUGH THEY ACCIDENTALLY FLUSHED THE NEIGHBOR'S YARD WITH SEWAGE, THEY IMMEDIATELY CLEANED IT UP TO HER SATISFACTION. THEY USED ONE OF MY GARDEN HOSES TO CLEAN UP THE MESS, AND THEN REPLACED IT WITH A NEW, GOOD-QUALITY HOSE. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

THE 2 MEN THAT CAME OUT WERE ON TIME, COURTEOUS, AND EFFICIENT. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE JOB, AND FELT IT WAS REASONABLY PRICED.

READY TO START JOB AND FINISHED WITHIN 2 HOURS. CLEANED UP AFTER WORK.
