It was okay.

Lowes staff was very knowledgeable about the differences in many of the models and help me make a decision on what best fitted my needs

Went to Lowe's after contacting 3 door guys recommended on Angie's List (only 2 called back and 1 provided an estimate but never showed up "The Door Dude" and I have provided negative feedback for them). Contracted with Lowe's on a Monday, estimator showed on Tuesday and door was installed on Thursday. Very quick turnaround after dealing with others for 3 weeks. Tom and Oscar from Custom Door showed up on time, installed the door, corrected builder mistakes (original door frame and door rotted in less than 5 years) to prevent problem from re-occurring. The door was hung true (opens and closes better than the original ever did). Job site was cleaned up and job was completed to 100% satisfaction. Lowe's ensures that the contractors have proper insurance and licensing to perform the work. I was hesitant at using Lowe's (no previous experience with them for installation services) but was frustrated with response from other Angie's List responders. Glad I used Lowe's and Custom Door Inst.

Our opinion of Lowe's is very high. They weren't pushy. Instead, they were very helpful and responsive to our questions.

I am extremely pleased with the service I received from Lowe's. From the start to the finish they were very professional and kind. I have used them before and always had a good experience. They are good about cleaning up their mess, too.

We were doing some renovating a& updating to our home & used Lowe s to put ceramic tile down in the kitchen & a bathroom. We were not very pleased when 3 of the tiles cracked. During the same time, we bought an expensive door from Lowe's. When they came out to install it, they ripped the other door frame apart & then discovered afterwards they had the wrong door. This turned into a big hassle, as they put the wrong door on backwards until they ordered the right one. Lowe s came back to get things fixed up, but it was an awful hassle getting things done properly with them.
