Lopez Painting

Mr. Lopez did a fast and quality job of repairing sheetraock damage from leak in hall cieling and around are doorway. Will use him next job.

I was very impressed with Luis and his crew. They arrived on time, clean up after themselves each day and did a perfect job painting. When he put a sample of one of my colors on the wall and I was hesitant, he offered to get a different color. I have already given his card out to the first person that came by to see our new look.

Excellent. The entire project took 3-1/2 days and was performed with great final results. Work was accomplished very neatly inside the home, with Mr. Lopez and his helpers cleaning up after each day.

Lopez and one assistant worked very hard all day. The job turned into more work than he'd originally estimated but he completed all repairs and the painting in one very long day, charging only what he'd originally estimated for the job. They started about 9:00 a.m. and it was too dark to check the work that evening when they finished but the job was done. The quality of the job was excellent. I will definitely hire Lopez Painting again.

I never got a call back so the work was never done!

Luis Lopez did an amazing paint job for us! He was very professional, very punctual and has a great team that works with him. From start to finish it was a pleasant experience. I would definitely hire him again and would not hesitate to refer him.

Luis made himself immediately available to come by and provide and estimate. His estimate was the most competitive. I acquired two others. Luis was also flexible regarding the time needed to do the work which was very much appreciated as both my wife and I work during the day. Luis and his team did an excellent job painting and repairing the sheetrock. I plan to use him again when we do more remodeling. I would not hesitate to recommend Lopez Painting.

It went well. Mr. Lopez and his 2 helpers were always on time and did a few little extra things that I asked them to do at no extra charge. I had to go to work unexpectedly one day before they finished and Mr. Lopez did not have a problem with stopping and coming back the next day. They did a great job and always cleaned up afterwards. I plan to use them again soon for interior sheet rock repair and painting.

Mr. Lopez was courteous on the phone and arrived at my home within 2 days for an estimate. He started work 4 days later. I explained that I wanted the mirrows taken down and I would buy new mirrors for him to put back up and he agreed. He told me the job would take 4 to 5 days. He and a helper removed the wallpaper well but were messy with their equipment in my master bedroom (screws, nails, etc. were laying on the floor instead of being put away in a box or something to hold them. He textured the walls the second day and the preceded to start painting the walls later that day. The master bathroom has wet marks under the paint on one strip where he started painting before the texture was dry. In some areas the wall is not even and you can tell where the wallpaper was taken off. They did do a good job on the wood work with the oil based paint. On Thursday I asked Mr. Lopez when he thought they would be finished and he told me Saturday or Sunday. That was fine with me so Thursday evening I bought one mirror to see if it would fit in the bathroom knowing that I had time on Friday to buy two more mirrors since they were not going to be finished until Saturday or Sunday. When I returned from work on Friday Mr. Lopez informed me that they would be finished in about 20 minutes. So I asked when they would be there on Saturday and he said "no we will not be here on Saturday we are completely finished". I said "what" you told me Saturday or Sunday and you still have mirrors and a mess to clean up. He acted put out and I told him I was leaving and going to get the other mirrors right then and he would put them up as we discussed before he left. I came back with the mirrors and he told me before I even brought it into the bathroom that it was too big. I said no it is not I measured it and it is fine. He then said ok and preceded to hang mirrors. One mirror was so high it was covering up the light fixture hole so he had to redo it. All in all it was very frustrating on a Friday evening to be dealing with such a matter. I had asked him to just come back on Saturday and do it and he said he couldn't do that. So I think he had taken another job and was rushing to finish my job. The next day I tried to take a shower and my drain quickly clogged up. After using a plunger etc. a lot of paint came out of the drain. Needless to say I was not happy. He had used my bathtub to clean his brushes. I then had to call a plumber to come unclog my drain. The painting it self was not that bad but because of the rest of the experience I would not use him again.

Excellent. The painters arrived exactly on time, they were neat and performed a quality job. We will use them again.

I called him and he came out that afternoon. He was extremely prompt and a very nice man. He said he could get to my job pretty fast. He gave me the lowest bid, but it seemed a little too low. It was a little less than what I had asked for and really wasn’t comparable. He loaded up on a spiral notebook thing. I would probably call him again.

The contractor pressure washed our driveway and unfortunately every bit of mud and debris was "washed" to the entrance of the driveway where the driveway meets the street. All that "junk" was left there at the entrance of our driveway. In other words, a long stream of mud, oil, leaves, trash and water etc. stretching the entire width of the driveway which formed a little "river." Rather than cleaning that up the contractor left. In order to get in and out of the driveway we obviously had to drive through that mess which tracked it all back up and down the driveway.....right where it had come from.

The whole job went very well. He and his crew worked very hard, got the job done and did many extras. I was very pleased and would hire them again. They were always on time, cleaned up after themselves, and did an excellent job.

He responded to my phone call almost immediately and came to work early on a Sunday morning. The work was done well and quickly and they cleaned up after themselves. This was our first time to hire painters, we usually do it ourselves. We are very satisfied and will use them again!

They're very trustworthy and I would certainly use them again.

They were very thorough in comparing for the painting and used good quality paint. They did a good job with all the repair work and the overall painting. I think they were very honest, reliable and their price was reasonable. I spent about $1500 on that work.

It went well. Mr. Lopez and his family were very professional and punctual. They were dedicated workers. They did the work while we were not around since we were moving from out of state. When we got to the house we noticed that there were some areas of the wall that needed to be patched/sanded like old picture hanging holes. They didn't patch them on their own, but once we told them we wanted them fixed they did it very well and without a change in the price. We were very pleased overall with their work and professionalism.

Mr Lopez is great! Without a doubt the best contractor/handyman I have ever worked with. He has restained my exterior wood doors at my primary residence in Houston several times. (They need redoing every few years due to the sun) He recently repainted the exterior of my lake houe in Clear Lake. His price can't be beat and the service is outstanding. I have recommended him to several friends and co-workers

This is now the 3rd job Luis has done for us. Each and every time he shows up promptly to give us a complete written estimate, performs the work from start to finish before starting a new job elsewhere, performs the work with the highest standards and lastly cleans up after he is through. I would not hesitate in bringing him back for any additional work we need. If he doesn't have the capability to do the work, he refers us to someone else.

Excellent work with very good results. I had no problems whatsoever. I have asked him to come back and paint my kitchen cabinets.

This is about the third time I have used him and he is very good. It is a family owned business and usually his daughter comes in. This time her husband came in too. He has trained them well.

Very well. Willing to work on weekends. Came immediately to give estimate. Met our very tight deadline. Willing to give extra help when needed. EXCELLENT QUALITY WORK.

This company gave the highest bid of anyone. He quoted $5,500 on a 2000 sq ft one story brick home. When I asked him about a warranty he said Warranty? Uh...I can give you a year. He told me it would take 14 gallons of paint when 5 other people giving me quotes said 20-23 gallons of the same brand of paint. This was 2000 higher than a very reputibale and normally expensive company (they were supposed to be me high quote) that I recieved a quote on just hours earlier who showed up with a full portfolio to leave for me, references, a 3 year insured warranty and a BBB member. I felt insulted and that I wasted my time.
