Lopez Painting

We needed the outside trim painted. This included doors, windows, and gutters. Mr. Lopez was supposed to come to our home at 8:30 am Saturday for an estimate. He called at 8:30 to say that he couldn't come at that time, and we rescheduled for 4 pm. I called him at 4:40, and he said he'd be there in 20 minutes. He came at about 5:30 with no apology or excuse. His bid was about $800 less than the folks we are going to use, but their bid is much more detailed. They pointed out some additional work that was needed, and they were prompt.

Luis was very efficient, fast, clean and reasonably priced. He did the job on a Sunday which REALLY impressed me.

Punctual, professional. Really good experience. They did a very professional job. It was a family that came and they were very nice people. It was pleasing to work with them.

Although they had good workers and a decent price I feel that they, in efforts of saving time, did not pay enough attention to detail. There were several noticeable light patches in the paint and paint drips were left to dry on one of our mirrors.

They did excellent work and were punctual. They gave very good results!

Mr. Lopez made an appointment to meet me at the project site at 11:00 Saturday morning July 15th. He called at 11 AM and told me he could not make by 11 AM, but he would be there by 11:30 sharp. Well, 11:30 came and went, and Mr Lopez never did show up. I finally called him and told him to forget it. Mr. Lopez caused me to drive a number of unnecessary miles and to waste my Saturday morning. Mr Lopez, in my opinion is not at all professional. I am glad that I found this out before he started work, and I am glad that I don't have too deal with him.

They came promptly at 8:30 am and worked for 4 1/2 hours. They took great care to cover furniture, etc. They did an excellent job with the repair and painting. They put furniture, etc. Back in the exact same place where they found it, and did a very good clean up job. I highly recommend them.

Neat, clean, clean up after himself. Prompt and does good work.

Very fast! Efficient and polite. Painting job was just as requested. Few soda cans left at worksite.

I would recommend Lopez painting to anyone. I have already recommended them to two people, one who has already hired them and is extremely pleased with their work. They are prompt, efficient, neat and thorough. As has been said before about this company - they go above and beyond.

They were supposed to arrive at 4pm, but have not shown up yet and have not called.

Good value for money. Preparation was very good, and all rotten wood was replaced.

He did a good job. I thought it would be more expensive than it was.

He returned calls, he was on time. We did have to call him back because some of the old paint showed through. He brought better primer and paint with him to complete the job. Of course, we did pay for the addl. supplies. He was always very polite as was his family who is his crew!

Did an excellent job of repairing wood trim and deck. Completed the job very efficiently. Very competent and professional.

Prompt, efficient, professional. Fair price for quality work. 70% of time was spent on getting the work well prepared and needed repairs. Removed gutters for a thorough job. Suggested areas that needed gutter repair and worked around scheduling gutter repair. Included needed extra work for his crew that I suggested at a fair price. He will be back.

This fellow performed an excellent job. He was prompt for the estimate appointment and finished the work on time. He cleaned up after he was finished, and not a trace of any trash was left.

COMPLETED JOB IN 2 DAYS. PATCHED A HOLE IN THE GARAGE DRYWALL AT NO EXTRA CHARGE WITHOUT HAVING BEEN ASKED. CLEANED UP AFTER COMPLETING THE JOB. PRICE WAS IN LINE WITH OTHER ESTIMATES.

THEY CAME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ON ANGIE'S LIST SO THIS TIME I WENT WITH THE LOW BID. I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK. LUIS, THE OWNER, AND TWO HELPERS ARRIVED PROMPTLY EVERYDAY AT 8:30 A.M. AND WORKED UNTIL 5:30 P.M. THE PREPARATION WAS VERY GOOD AS WELL AS THE ACTUAL PAINTING. LUIS IS A GOOD, HARD WORKING PAINTER THAT TOOK GREAT CARE AROUND THE JOB SITE. I GIVE LUIS AND HIS CREW AND ENTHUSIASTIC ''A'' FOR THE WORK PERFORMED.

MR. LOPEZ WAS GREAT AT RETURNING CALLS AND ABOUT BEING PUNCTUAL. I CALLED HIM FOR A QUOTE AND LEFT A MESSAGE. HE CALLED ME THAT SAME DAY AND CAME OVER THAT EVENING TO BID THE JOB. HIS PRICE WAS GREAT! HE AND HIS CREW CAME A FEW DAYS LATER AND THEY WERE ON TIME. THEY WERE COURTEOUS AND DID A GOOD JOB.

MR. LOPEZ AND HIS CREW ARRIVED PROMPTLY, ON-SCHEDULE AND CLEANED UP AFTER (THOUGH THEY DID LEAVE A LOT OF SANDING DUST BEHIND AND DRIPPED PAINT IN VARIOUS PLACES, INCLUDING A BRAND NEW ROLLERSHADE.) BUT MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS NOT GREAT. THE CREW SEEMED RUSHED AND MR. LOPEZ, THOUGH POLITE, WAS NOT EASY TO COMMUNICATE WITH. THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO CLEAN OFF OLD PAINT AND CAULK (AND IN SOME CASES RE-CAULK) AROUND THE WOOD TRIMWORK AND IN MANY PLACES HE DID NOT DO THIS, OR DID A SUB-STANDARD JOB. I ALSO HAD TO ASK FOR TOUCHUPS IN SEVERAL PLACES. WHEN THEY LEFT, THEY DID NOT EVEN RE-INSTALL THE SWITCH AND PLUG PLATES. AND IN OTHER PLACES, WE NOTICED THAT THEY DID NOT REMOVE WALL-HANGERS (THEY PAINTED OVER THEM) AND THEY DID NOT PATCH OLD HOLES IN WALLS LEFT BY NAILS. THE SIMPLE PAINT JOB WAS FINE, AND THEY ARE FAST, HARD-WORKERS. BUT I WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH THEIR OVERALL WORK.

ON TIME; COURTEOUS; DID AN EXCELLENT JOB.

SHOWED UP ON TIME READY TO WORK. DID MORE WORK THAN HIS ESTIMATE CALLED FOR (PAINTED AN ADDITIONAL ROOM) WITHOUT ADDITIONAL CHARGE. NO PROBLEMS!

ON TIME, NEAT COURTEOUS, SKILLED, UNDER PRICED. OLD TIME WORK ETHIC, STILL DOES THE JOB. I ENDED UP GIVING HIM MORE THAN HIS QUOTE. HE AND HIS HARD WORKING WIFE, ARE WHAT AMERICA NEEDS MORE OF. THESE GUYS ARE GOOD; NEAT, CLEAN, DILIGENT, AND TALENTED.

THEIR PRICES ARE REASONABLE, THEY DID GREAT WORK, AND LUIS WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND IN SEVERAL AREAS. HE IS VERY PERSONABLE AND TRIES TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY WHEN YOU'RE THERE. HE IS VERY HELPFUL ALL AROUND. WE DREW UP A CONTRACT AND HE ALLOWED ME TO ADD A FEW THINGS AS WE WENT ALONG. IT WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. HE ALSO CLEANED UP VERY NICELY WHEN THE WORK WAS FINISHED.
