Lopez Painting

They were excellent and very reliable. They referred to me by somebody.

Luis and his crew did a terrific job. I felt the price was right on for all the various things that needed to be done. The job took about four days.

Mr. Lopez and his crew arrived an hour late. Job was well done. I discovered my house is not well sealed as I got a fair amount of water inside the house, especially in two rooms. Mr. Lopez cleaned this up; clean up could have been better.

Mr. Lopez came within the week I called and arrived on time. Painting seems to be of a high quality. I noticed that after the painter left, a stain was still showing through in one spot. I called Mr. Lopez to tell him this. He was returning the next day to do power washing, and he took care of it then and it is now fine. I asked Mr. Lopez to paint a small area in the hall in addition and he quickly agreed. That spot is not well done, probably because it needs semi-gloss and latex was used. I did find a very small spot of paint on the carpet. It came right up. One other item got a spot which can't be removed. Improving cover-up before painting would take care of this.

Excellent! Mr. Lopez responded promptly. He arrived at my home and gave me an estimate the same day I called. He and his crew were professional and friendly. The quality is as expected and they cleaned up completely after completing the work. I have already referred them to two of my neighbors. The cost met my expectations. I will definitely consider Lopez Painting for future work.

I was on vacation and needed to take care of some house issues while I had time. I found this company on Angie's list, and they were able to come the day I called. They did an okay job, but they left a huge mess! They tipped over plants without picking them up, borrowed my ladder and hoses without asking and basically left huge gobs of muck everywhere surrounding the house. They got my house clean, but they chipped off paint in several places (not old paint either) and I couldn't get the sense if they were really skilled at pressure washing, or had merely rented the machine and started spraying. Because the price was so cheap (and they probably underestimated the volume of work), I feel like I can't complain too much. But, next time, I think I'll pay someone else more who will do a more professional job.

I contacted Lopez Painting to replace 6 interior doors, 1 exterior door, and burglar bars on an exterior door. Mr Lopez came out the same day as my call and gave me a quote on the spot. We did not agree to have the exterior door and burglar bars replaced as I wasn't sure if that work would be performed. However, he gave me a verbal quote of $150 for the door and $200 for the burglar bars. Lopez performed the work all of the other work over the next 2 business days and did an excellent job. However, when I asked about having the burglar bars installed, Mr Lopez said that he wouldn't be able to do that, as they don't do that kind of work. I was rather disappointed by this, as this was the most important part of the work that I needed done. Nonetheless, he performed all of the other work very well.

We called them in the morning and they were there by 11:30, the exact time we had set together. We agreed on a price just as it started to rain. Then Mr Lopez and his crew worked straight through the pouring rain until they were finished 3 or 4 hours later.

It was difficult to "unload the kitchen"! I had company coming at the end of the week, and we made it. It took him 4 days to paint the area. I was very pleased with the results.

Mr. Lopez came out the day that I called him and gave an estimate. I contacted 2 other companies, one which took a week to show up and the other never followed-up. Point to Lopez painting. When I told him that I'd like to have him do the work, he showed up the next day(Saturday)got a majority of the work complete, and then came back on Monday to finish up. It was about as painless as I could have imagined. The quality of the work was good, not excellent, but given the speed, I can accept good quality. I did inspect while the work was being done and Mr. Lopez and his team accommodated my requests with no questions. So if you have the time to work with them, I'd recommend Lopez painting. I plan to use them for other work on exterior painting.

Mr. Lopez and his crew came to my house on a Saturday and started and completed painting my kitchen (about 20 x 20) walls, trim and doors, including a large walk in pantry in one day. They painted the cabinets and shelves in the pantry and painted the walls the corresponding color of the walls in the main kitchen, it looks beautiful.

They showed up right on time and finished in 2 days.

I am very satisfied. They did an excellent job with the sheetrock repair. The walls and ceiling look just like before and you can't see the repairs at all. They did a good job at minimizing the dust, but there was a little dust. They also did a very good job with the painting. My kitchen is painted red, and I did find a few tiny drops of red on the window shutters and glass after the job, but these were easy to wipe off with a fingernail and cloth. I expected this work to require a couple of days, but they finished in a single day. I would recommend this contractor and will use him again.

They were responsive and felt like their were fair.

He was very professional. He cleaned everything up and did a really good job. He worked quietly and asked questions if something wasn't right with the house. A squirrel had eaten a hole underneath the fascia board and he found this and repaired and painted it at no extra charge to us. I thought he was very fairly priced. I had a couple of estimates and his were very low I thought. I would hire him again.

They were prompt and finished the job ahead of schedule.

Mr. Lopez came to the apartment on time and listened carefully while taking notes, as I explained all of the work I needed to have done. He suggested different ways to do things that could make the job simpler and cheaper while still getting a good result. He then totaled it up and gave me a quote on the spot. It was a bit higher than the other estimate that I got, but I went with him. The thoroughness of his estimate and his comments about how he would handle the job gave me the confidence that he would be able to deliver with no problems. We scheduled the job for later in the week after he finished a job he was working on at the time. On the day that we agreed to meet, he showed up with his crew and they started working immediately. The work was done one day sooner than he told me it might take. His crew cleaned up every day and were very conscientious and respectful. They did a great job, with very good attention to detail. The apartment looks great now and I am very pleased with the result.

They are so clean about everything. They were very up front and told me what I could expect. There were no surprises. I have and will continue to recommend them to others.

Sr. Lopez was always on time, quote me 1/2 of what another painter quoted, and the quality of work was good.

Mr. Lopez and I first spoke in late August 2008; he agreed to come the next day to provide an estimate for the work. He arrived on time, thoroughly discussed the job and provided a written estimate for the work. He also told me that it would be approximately 6-8 weeks before he would be available. Three weeks later (two days before Hurricane Ike), he called to state that he was ready to begin the job. He came out on a Wednesday and power washed the house. The next day he installed fascia. The Friday of the hurricane, he wanted to begin painting. As I was concerned about fresh paint washing off during the storm, he continued prep work that day and again two days after the hurricane. On the fourth day after the storm, we determined that the wood had dried out enough to begin painting. Using a crew of four, painting was completed in one and a half days. Mr. Lopez and his crew are very professional. When I complained about them stepping on newly planted shrubs, they made sure to be more careful. They were diligent and I had to forestall their work several times due to (1) safety concerns related to the hurricane (they actually worked the day of the storm) and (2) painting immediately prior to the storm. I will use Lopez Painting again. (Mr. Lopez also stated that most of his work comes through Angie's List.)

All work was completed in one day. The gutter repair was required due to hurricane Ike damage. Mr. Lopez was able to complete the repairs in only four days after hurricane Ike struck the Houston area.

All painting was done very well, neatly and completed in five days. Repairs were made to walls as needed. All materials including empty paint containers were removed when the job was completed.

It was perfect. He was quick to respond to my phone call, came that same day to give and estimate, and painted the next day. I am very happy with the job done.

Excellent service. Mr. Lopez was on-site and worked all three days with his son and daughter. Very professional and courteous. Went the extra mile. In the very near future, I will employ him to paint the inside of my home. I recommend Lopez Painting without hesitation.
