Overall, very well. The project did take longer than I'd hoped, but Lee was very precise in measuring the window glass and making sure he acquired the appropriate glass for the different windows (1 window in 4 rooms). Installation of the replacement glass on our second floor windows was complicated by the fact that we live inside loop 610 on a small lot.

I am glad to hire Lee. It was not easy to find a guy like him, professional, fast responsive and good quality of work. He came to home on time and finish the replacement efficiently.

He arrived promptly and brought springs that fit only one window. He installed the springs and went back to his supplier for the appropriate size for the other window. The provider was knowledgable, and responsive. The worst Part was waiting for the new parts which had to be ordered from the manufacturer.

Very well. Lone star was the only company that was willing to work with one window and replace it in vinyl since it was for a garage apartment. They worked quickly to get it ordered, and then moved to have it installed as soon as it arrived.

Lee was very responsive to my many questions. He personally installed all three doors himself and they look and work great. He was very friendly and answered all questions carefully and thoroughly. I would highly recommend him. During my project, Lee came over and did the estimate and recommendations and was also the one who installed the doors. This worked out great because he delivered wonderfully on his promises.

Lee installed our windows with a professional crew and explained each step as we went. His crew was easy to work with and polite. They did an inspection as they finished that revealed a crack, so Lee ordered a new window before we had even noticed the problem. He also found rotten wood while doing the install and has helped us find another contractor to fix it.

I could not be more pleased ! Everything looks perfect and the workmanship is first rate. It takes time to get perfect windows ordered, but the installation is done in a very timely manner. We had talked about replacing windows in our home for some time. I'm glad we waited until we found Lone Star.

I called to see if they would do single-pane replacement on my old aluminum windows. He asked where I lived and referred me to another glass company close by (also Angie's List "A" rated). He mentioned on the phone that he'd be happy to fix my window if the guy closer by couldn't. Amazing customer service, and I will be thinking of them next time someone closer needs window repairs or replacement!

After removing one of the windows, Lee found severe water damage that was well outside the scope of his proposal. Lee took care of the problem and spent several extra hours ensuring that the job was done correctly. The windows look great and they do not leak one bit.

The guy eventually came out and looked at the scope of work, and then just never pulled it together to get back to me with even an estimate. There were all sorts of 'discractions' which seemed to keep him from getting back. and finally I just stopped calling him.

Mr. Lee of Lone Star Windows arrived on time and was reasonably priced. I was very satisfied and will notify him in the future when needed.

Had to wait a bit as all of the windows were custom made, but the results were definitely worth the wait. It was all done in one day. The installer came with a crew of 3 other men, and while I was not there to witness it myself, my renter told me that they were quick, courteous, and conscientious about their work.

Had a little trouble scheduling with them in the beginning. Tech was friendly seemed to replace it successfully, in spite of the fact that the window was no longer square. Having lost my job days prior to the window repair, I was pretty frustrated that I forgot to give him the Angie's List 10% off coupon that was on my fridge while he was there. I could have saved $20.

Perfectly! A leaking window, part of which had been installed by Gulf Coast Windows was ruining a wooden floor. After having a horrible experience with GCW, I called on Lone Star Windows who both underbid and outperformed their competitor. I am completely sold on Lone Star and its President, Lee Friedrichs.
