Had my dryer vent cleaned, excellent service, George called me back soon after I left a message and was able to squeeze me in for a same day appointment which I was greatly appreciative. He arrived on time, was courteous, and knowledgeable of his craft.

More impressive than the over the phone assessment was how quickly they got to the house and fixed the problem. And, it didn't take hours or cost a ton like I thought it would.

George came by to give us a quote. He was on time and called before arrival. We truly liked George, price was right in the ball park of the other quotes we received. So why didn't we use his services? It came down to we knew someone who had used the other contractor before, otherwise he would have been our choice.

I needed to get my carpets cleaned before family arrived for Thanksgiving. Doubtfully I called for an appointment the week of Thanksgiving. To my surprise they were able to come the day before Thanksgiving. The guy arrived promptly and done an exceptional job and the price was reasonable as well. I will definitely use them again.

WOW. George was AWESOME! Scheduled time was between 9-11am, but he called early on to say he was running late and ask if he could reschedule to later in the day. A phone call, what a concept! Instead of waiting and waiting (and fuming), I was able to do things I needed to until later in the afternoon. He came right on time (as rescheduled), assessed the job and told me it would take 10-15 minutes. He got right to work, cleaned the duct (which was filthy) and then cleaned up everything afterwards. From the time he knocked on the door to when he left was under 30 minutes. I would (and will) definitely hire him again to clean the vents.

The dryer was taking more than an hour to dry a typical load. After Lone Star cleaned the dryer duct, the time to dry a load dropped to 20-30 minutes.

The young man arrived around 11:00 which was not a problem, but the appointment was from 8-10am. I understand that some jobs take longer than anticipated. My vacuum had been broken for a number of months and I figured that a good vacuuming first would make the cleaning more effective, but the worker declined saying it wasn't necessary. He also recommended a $35 pretreatment, which I declined. I've had carpet cleaners in the past who vacuumed and pre-treated without additional charge, so I was quite surprised that this worker did not vacuum when requested (which would have prompted a tip from me later). I would have paid up to $15 for the pretreatment too, but I thought $35 was gouging. Anyway, the carpet looked a whole lot better after the cleaning, but could have looked even better with a vacuuming and pretreatment.

I was sold services by Lone Star back in 2016 because we were having problems with mold and mildew forming around the air registers in our house. Lone Star told me that they could take care of this and make it go away. The first step of the process was to fume the air ducts with a moldicide to kill what was growing. Second, they would install UV lights in my AC supply plenum to kill any bacteria or viruses at the source so that nothing would grow in my air ducts going forward. For this "service" that was promised to work, I had to pay them close to $1,000 and then I had to have them back to the house every 6 months and pay them a trip charge to keep the warranty in effect. We proceeded with them. After the third trip out to the house where we kept having to pay the trip charge, I explained to them that their service wasn't working. They informed me that if I really wanted to get rid of it permanently, I would have to pay them for an additional service to paint a primer around and in my air registers to encapsulate the mold to prevent further growth. This was where I drew the line. I told them I was promised that these other services that I've invested almost $1,000 in would solve the problem. I told them that I would be paying nothing more to them and because of their false claims and ineffective work, they needed to refund me the money they charged me. I am told that it is not their policy to issue refunds. They tried to give me the new services free of charge, but honestly, I didn't want them in my house anymore and I certainly didn't want them painting primer on my ceiling so that I would have to repaint my ceilings so as not to have blotchy spots on the ceiling. They also tried to tell me that they originally told me that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't work. To which my response (as any normal person's would be) was, "why would I invest $1,000 if this may not work?" Untrustworthy company. I highly recommend looking elsewhere and not giving them your hard-earned money.

Overall it went extremely well. This was the first time we got the dryer duct cleaned since we moved into the house (less than a year ago), but I had noticed the dryer seemed to be taking longer to dry clothes. When I called I wasn't 100% sure where the vent came out (side of the house or the roof), but the builder had said the side of the house so we went with that. When they came out we determined that the vent went up to the roof, so they did inform me it would cost a bit more ($30?) for that. I had expected it might happen so I was fine with it. They were in and out in about 30 minutes. I had also asked about installing a blower fan to help because of the length to the roof, and an idea of what it would cost if they did it. I was told that I would probably need to clean then vent professionally every two years or so. I would definitely hire them again for the next cleaning, and if we decide to get the blower fan for the vent they will be at the top of my list to do the installation.

They cleaned our air ducts. We had a $99.00 deal and the final cost was around $400.00. The air ducts had not been cleaned since we built the house 10 years ago.

They were on time, friendly and professional. Most of the stains came out so I was happy.

Used them before, they're pretty reasonable with repair costs. I haven't gotten the work done yet but probably will schedule it soon.

Cancelled when technician said my tile was not real ceramic and the price of cleaning would be double.

After calling around for quotes, I chose this company since they do not also do replacements of vents - so there would be no conflict of interest to up-sell. Although punctual and initially nice, the price jumped from my quote because they failed to mention on the phone that they also charge for air-intake vents which cost twice what regular room vents cost. He blamed failure to tell me this on his office, then claiming they aren't one of those kinds of companies who show up and then increase price, which is so common. I was concerned, but he wasn't. Since it was their mistake I asked if he would go ahead and do it without charge. His answer: "I don't work for free". I felt that was VERY unprofessional since he said he was the owner. He could have even offered to reduce that price...but the conversation deteriorated from there. I don't do business with companies that do this sort of thing or don't take responsibilities for their mistakes......so...no work done. By the way, the EPA and other similar entities claim there is no evidence that air duct cleaning reduces dust or improves air quality. So I called to ask my trusted HVAC guy and he agreed -said it wasn't needed, that usually problems come from dirty coils. Since I had just replaced my whole system inside and out, everything was good. Research before spending money and avoid ANY up-selling or companies who forget to mention things...especially since it's probably not needed. After learning all this, now I will not waste my money to have it done by anyone.
