Robert and Michael that did the installation were great. I was very please with everyone. I will definitely call them again with any glass service.

Seemed like a poorly managed business. Called them three times to get a quote worked out for a few vanity mirrors. There was no follow up. Seemed like most of their business is through contractors and builders, so home owners do not get much attention.

I like them. They were very good. They were timely and efficient. It was good.

Person quoting was polite and professional. I did not proceed as the price quoted was $ 300 plus. Nearest competitor was a $ 100 lower. Maybe they are not into auto glass and hence not competitive .

he did the work professionally as best I could see, but did not pick up the resulting mess. The technician was not communicative, but not rude either. We all have bad days. I also asked that, when finished with the window repair, to measure four pieces of furniture that I wanted glass topped, using the 3/8" expensive glass. The shop never returned a quote and I called once more and was told the same thing, that hey needed to talk to the technician.

Lone Star Glass replaced my patio door glass, and did so within 2 days of contacting them via phone for an estimate. I was able to send them pictures while we talked on the phone, and got a price quote and scheduled installation during that initial phone call. They arrived during the pre-scheduled window, with the right size piece of glass, and the right tools, and Phil Gonzales (lead guy) was very friendly and professional. Would definitely use Lone Star Glass again. Solid "A" grade.

I called a number of glass companies and Lone Star was the only one that promised they would be out THAT DAY to put in a temporary piece of commercial plastic that would protect our home while permanent glass was being cut. Lone Star recommended that we use "laminated glass" to replace the tempered glass that the robber broke so easily. YouTube 'laminated glass" (it is three pieces of glass put together and see what a great product this is for protection. This special piece of glass took 3 weeks to make, and Lone Star came out when promised with this new safety 'glass'. I worked with Rachel at Lone Star. She was very sympathetic to our break-in and also suggested we install 'security film' on all vulnerable windows. Rachel sent out Ted, who explained the security film and how effective it is against burglars. Also, YouTube, security glass installations. This product is also awesome. Lone Star was so helpful during this very scary time. They did exactly what they said they would. Very happy with their security ideas and very appreciative of the extensive customer service. You can trust Lone Star Glass.

I have a window that requires glass replacement. I wrote Lone Star Glass on Angie's List to request a bid/quote on November 15th. Five days later I wrote again using Angie's List email to find out why I had not heard anything back. As of today (11/27/15) I have had no contact from Lone Star Glass...via email or telephone. I don't know if they have enough business they don't need to contact potential customers, however, if this is how they handle the first inquiry, I can only imagine what the actual service would be like during the project. Extremely disappointed.

The Lone Star service people were prompt, professional, neat and competent. They replace the glass and took all the broken glass away. They measured the window frame and cut the glass right there in their truck. I thought their price was very reasonable in that they made a service call to my house and sent two people to perform the job. I will definitely use them again.

It did not go at all. The installer never showed up or called back to look at the job. So much for good responsive service.

My first bad experience with an Angie's list provider. I called them about replacing a broken double paned window where just the outside glass was broken in mid-August. I wasn't in a huge hurry and when I told the lady on the phone the measurement she gave me a ballpark figure and said someone could come out to measure and give me the actual price in about 10 days. Not what I was expecting but acceptable since I still had the inside pane intact. But, when the guy arrived he did not give me a price, merely measured the window and told me it would take 7-10 days and someone would call with the price. He was a bit abrupt and definitely gave me the feeling that my little job wasn't terribly important to them, but at this point I'm still believing all the good reviews on Angie's list and just assumed he was having a bad day. So I waited two weeks and still hadn't heard from anyone at Lonestar Glass. I finally called them and they couldn't find my job number and said they'd call back, which to be fair they did. BUT when they called back they told me they had lost the measurements and finally found them stapled to another job. Then they said they could install my window in ANOTHER 5-7 days. I was going out of the country so we made arrangements for them to come on a Wednesday, 8 days in the future and the only day my adult son could be at the house to meet them. I gave Lonestar Glass his number and they were supposed to call him with an installation time Tuesday before the installation appointment. They never called. He finally called them and they gave him an approximate time. Wednesday came and went but they never showed up. When he called he was told they had a delay and couldn't make it that day and wanted to reschedule. At that point my husband pointed out that they had repeatedly dropped the ball regarding this job, that they hadn't bothered to keep my son informed of their delivery/installation problems and that we no longer required their services! They definitely left us with the feeling that our job didn't matter to anyone there and I can't in good conscience recommend them! What a disappointment after reading all the great reviews. Not sure I really trust Angie's List anymore, it seems to be more about the special offers than anything else and to be of more he to the businesses than to the consumers.

This company is quick to provide an approximate quote (which will be about $2,300 for a frameless shower enclosure); however, to get the company to actually come out to my home to take a proper measurement and provide details of various options that may be available to us was impossible. Over the course of nearly 3 weeks, I only received the message "we should be able to fit you in this week" to only have nothing happen. Of course, if it is this hard to get the company to even come out to my home to do a measurement, imagine my concern in how long an actual installation may take. For the money, there are MUCH more responsive companies to go with--there is no reason to pick one of the most expensive to get this kind of run-around.

They are really responsive. They are really commented to backing their quality.

Had to call twice to follow up on order. Handed off to Jim, who said they could not match the color. Said he would bring some samples to see if they could get close. Never heard from him or the company again. Called one of the competitor's who came out measured and delivered the correct product within one week. They were also 40% cheaper.

I called them the day before and they confirmed they would be working that day (it was a bank holiday). They gave me the price over the phone so there were no surprises. I dropped off the car in the morning and picked it up about 2 hours later. Their offices are not that nice, but they replaced my windshield quickly and I have not seen any defects so far. The service they provided was pretty basic, so I can't comment on more sophisticated services, like windshield replacement for newer cars with sensors etc.

Met Chris at site and received estimate later that same day. Postponed installation, at our request, and reinstalled on date of our choosing. Installers were prompt, professional and efficient workers. Job could not have been easier, from a customer perspective

Everything went as planned.

They came on-time and replace the panel in less than 15 minutes. The new panel matches other windows perfectly.

New vehicle wound up having a chip hidden in the blacked out area of the vehicle which we bought the end of November 2011, december weather caused chip to spiderweb so needed to replace... We wound up using them after Dealer refused to help us out. Service was Excellent, and Job performance top notch. would definitely use them again in a heartbeat... and may soon have to, new roads have given us new chips...

Lonestar glass was very responsive during the quotation process, patiently allowing us to make changes to the mirror specifications a couple times prior to installation. The installer was punctual, professional and worked quickly to complete the work. The price quoted matched the final bill. We are very satisfied with the customer service and quality of workman ship we received. We highly recommend them. There were no surprises.

They were very responsive to come and board the window while the glass was manufactured. The quality of the work was good and the slight mark down was due to an error in measurement which delayed the installation for a few days after the glass had to be sent back for resizing. Otherwise they were very good!
