 + -1 moreI found out that Mr maese is not owner .,the owner... David ( sorry I did not get his last.name) just changed the price and was not too concerned about customer ( my) satisfaction. If he had just had someone call me and tell me that it was overpriced and asked me what I wanted, it would not have been a problem. And to add insult to injury, I have been a very good buyer of their's and literally bought thousands of dollars of items from them. So , the owner, David, does not care about buyers or sellers in the long run. I brought my "$100" mirror home and will find a place for it. So, seller beware. You may not be contacted if they decide to change price of your lot. . David will sell at price he thinks should sell. Customer beware! Does not matter how much you spend, David will not work with you or give you the respect of calling you if you want to sell something! They have lost a very good customer as a result of this... This is FYI ... You be the judge
Description of Work: I Took a bullseye mirror to the auction house to be sold .mr Maese told me it was an early 20th century reproduction. I was disappointed it was not an original but appreciated knowledge of mr maese .,After a very enlightening discussion i decided that $500 would be the ominimum amount set for bidding at auction . We signed a contract for that amount. Yesterday, I looked online at their new catalogue for upcoming auction and the minimum amount for this federal mirror was for $100. No one had consulted with me ...and if I had not been watching, I could potentially have given this piece away at the auction after this company had taken their percentage.
