Description of Work: They came to do annual maintenance for the pool pump and the filter. They did not bring any replacement for the filter or any other part to the pump. I had to leave my home twice to buy items that they did not bring with them. All other companies that I had it the past did bring spares with them.

A new heater was installed. When we first turned The heater on the spa completely drained and burned out the pool motor. We have been calling for a service call. Promises when we call, but no one has bothered to follow up or make an appointment. We are STUCK since they installed the heater. Obviously they did not check the system after they installed. Just drop and go. I am very frustrated. We cannot even run our pool until return. I will not use these people again. My husband did get text messages giving him suggestions. It is NOT my husband's job to do electrical work. They need to stop being lazy and get over here.

Description of Work: I had to wait 1 1/2 weeks for first appointment. They came out and diagnosed problem...and said they would have to order the part. They called and set appointment to install new part. They were supposed to install the part the Friday before Memorial Day..gave me an 8-noon window that they would arrive. At 11:45 they called to tell me the part had not come in and that I would have to reshedule...needless to say I did not reschedule and was very upset. The manager never returned my call.... I would NEVER use them again.

Description of Work: Sent a young tech out who keep having to call his manager to ask questions..some of the settings on the pool he totally messed up...tried several times to get someone to come back and they kept saying they would check and call back...never came back to fix the problem.

This is a review of Leslie's pool service scheduled through their 1-800 number and may not be associated with this store. I had originally scheduled service for Wednesday afternoon. Took time off of work and no tech and no call until Friday morning. Arranged to have someone at home despite the short notice. Came home to several problems - filter that was leaking around the main seal in several places, pressure valve seat was leaking, chlorinator leaking and a big mess including trampled plants. None of these issues existed prior to the tech visit. Have a call and email into customer service,

I took the very corroded and nearly blocked cell to Leslie's on Bay Area Blvd in Clear Lake and was told the regular repairman was not there the day my filters were cleaned and they had someone filling in from another service area. I had no idea what that had to do with anything. When I made the appt I was required to pay $375.00 in advance for the trip charge and any repairs etc. The $375.00 did include a few items I picked up at the store that I believe were under $45.00. Any of the money not used would be credited per the store manager. I asked for a refund for the service and was told I was not due a refund. The trip charge and filter cleaning cost minus my purchases was the amount I was charged. In the past I paid approximately $120 for filter cleaning. I did speak with the regional maintenance supervisor and he told me the repairman was very good and he could not be sure he DID NOT CLEAN THE CELL. I sent photos of the clogged cell to him. Still no refunds. I cleaned the cell myself and it is still working well. Unfortunately Leslie's has bought out Pool Warehouse and is gradually taking over and will replace their recommended pool maintenance people with the high cost Leslie's staff very soon.
Description of Work: Pool maintenance person was supposed to come and clean the swimming pool filter and clean or replace the salt water cell. The Pool Pilot was indicating there was a problem with the water pressure. I had checked the cell and it needed to be cleaned but because the pool was 6 years old I felt it might need replacement. The salt water cell was not even removed to examine for corrosion. Basically only the filters were cleaned. The pool maintenance/repairman left with the red light still flashing on the pool pilot indicating a problem with the pressure. (Because of the corrosion on the cell) .

Service took three visits...first was for the cleaning and the diagnostics. The second one was to replace the motor, but the wrong motor got shipped...no worries, just had to get the new (correct) motor and it was replaced on the third visit. Fortunately, I was home and available for all trips, however, this would the and quot;wrong motorand quot; trip would have made me very unhappy. But I know mistakes happen, so no use getting upset. Stephen (technician) was very apologetic and tried to get us rescheduled as quickly as possible. He also took the time to explain everything, and go over recommendations for me to follow to help keep things running smoothly and keep my pool in excellent and quot;health.and quot; Timeliness and promptness was excellent, and price was competitive (actually a lot better than the folks who built my pool). Discounting the and quot;glitch,and quot; overall I am very satisfied.

Joe was great, showed up on time, replaced the filter. Everything was done within 3 hours.

LESLIE'S ORIGINALLY BROUGHT THE WRONG PART TO REPLACE THE TEMPERATURE SENSOR AND HAD TO RE-ORDER IT. AFTER THE SECOND TRIP, THE JOB WAS COMPLETED. THEY WERE APOLOGETIC. THE REPAIRMAN, HIMSELF, DIDN'T SEEM TO KNOW A WHOLE LOT ABOUT PRICING. I HAD TO CALL THE OFFICE TO GET THE CORRECT PRICE.
