LEO'S UPHOLSTERY

I feel badly leaving a negative review (and have never left a bad review for any company here on the list) but feel I need to let others know about my experience with this company. I found this company on Angie's list when I decided to have a very large sofa cushion recovered. I called this company and the owner's wife (according to her) never called me back when she said she would. I kept calling her, and to make a very long story short, I was asked to put down a deposit of $125.00 - which I did give to this person, and again she did not return my calls as promised. Finally I decided that I needed to find another company to do the work I needed as by now, not one time did this company return my calls when promised (it was literally hours later when I would call to see why my calls had not been returned). When this lady came by to my home to return my deposit -she refused to leave, kept ringing my doorbell and calling me, telling me in a very upset way that she and her husband (the owner of the company according to her) would not leave until I answered my door and signed some paperwork. I ended up having to call the Houston Police Dept. to file a complaint. I could not believe all of this, so cannot recommend this company at all. Needless to say this company did not in any way, seem professional.

Got someone helpful on the phone immediately, I believe it was the wife/co-owner. We set up a time for them to come do an estimate for free, they were able to do it after hours so we would be home, the within a week. They called that day to confirm, were on time, and very friendly and knowledgeable. They took the sofa that night and brought it back 3 days later, good as new.

Leo and Adriana were very professional. Leo took the time and care to give a proper estimate that he said he would stand behind. I was pleased with them. I did not do the work with them because the manufacturer decided to uphold their warranty and take care of it.
