Description of Work: Sod was too high against the foundation, so it was graded down to about 4" below top of foundation. Catch basins & 4" PVC pipe drains were installed, draining to the street by going under sidewalk & through curb. Gutters now connect with catch basins nicely. We got several quotes from well-rated drainage companies & this was the only company that addressed all problems. It looks great! They did an excellent job.

Description of Work: Mr. Laird came to the house to provide ideas for landscaping to block the view of a new apartment complex that is being developed next to my home. He charges a $75.00 consultation fee. I didn't feel that he had very many good ideas and was not particularly flexible. After meeting with him, I resented the consultation fee for the meager suggestions he made.

+ -1 moreMr. Laird was extremely nice and I liked the drawings that he did. He is a landscape architect, and I am confident that he would have done an excellent job, but his estimate fell in the higher end of the price spectrum, so we chose to go with someone else.
Description of Work: We paid Mr. Laird to do landscaping drawings.
