These guys are fantastic. I had high expectations based on the reviews, but they exceeded my hopes. From the first time I met with Manuel to discuss the work I was impressed. He discussed what I hoped to do, including work I would only be including if it fit within the budget, then sent me a VERY detailed estimated. The prices were very good so I was able to include the kitchen and breakfast area, which I wasn't sure I'd be able to afford until later. He was even happy to provide a revised estimate when I emailed him a photo of an accent wall I'd like painted. He started right when he estimated that he could, and his crew was efficient, polite, and did an outstanding job. I was blown away by the work the first time I went back to the house. They were fast but also did a perfect job - I was thrilled beyond words. The entire job took just under 3 days. When they were done they cleaned every room they'd been in - it was amazing, I was so impressed. Everyone in the crew was fantastic. I have other work I want done in the house and I will for sure be using L&J's again. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I found L&J Painting on Angie's list and tho' I got another quote that was a bit lower, I used Manuel because of all the rave reviews. A company that is so sure of it's quality that it takes no deposit??? Wow. They delivered in spades! Beautiful work, done in 3 days, clean, tireless, polite, on time....I could go on and on! Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed at all!!

The job was thorough, professional, and of high quality. The painters went about their business quietly, but efficiently. They paid attention to detail. the moved furniture in a logical manner; I knew where all of my boxed up items were--not placed haphazardly around the house. They picked up/arranged all materials when finished for the day. I am totally pleased with the work and with the crew who worked in my home.

My experience with these guys was great from start to finish. I got quotes from 4 different painters (companies and individuals) and Manuel was the only one to provide a written estimate, with job specifics and a garantee. While they were a bit more expensive than the others, with the Angie's discount, was only $200-$300 more than the others, and well worth it! The crew worked hard and tirelessly. Most days they arrived at 8 AM, and left after 6. My husband and I work from home, so access to the house wasn't a problem. Because the job was so big, they couldn't clean up every night, but they made sure we had access to whatever room and things we did need to get to once they left for the day. We could not be more pleased with the end result. I'm pretty picky when it comes to paint jobs. Hate when the lines are not straight or there are blobs. None of that with this crew. I highly recommend this company and have readily recommended them to my friends. I will be going straight to them when it's time to paint the bed and bath rooms.

They did a great job! We are about a year out from the service and it still looks fabulous. They were always here when they said they would be and kept the work site tidy. They somehow power-washed inside my carport without getting the storage cabinets wet! We got several estimates and found their prices competitive. We were very happy with the service and would hire them again.

I first contact Manuel over the phone. I first left a message and he called me back quickly to get things started. From there most of it was done over email, which was great. He was able to give me a general estimate over email once i gave him the dimensions of the room. He gave me a date and stuck to it. Before the job started he did come to the house to finalize the estimate and he was right on with it.We also changed the color at the last minute via email and he was able to change it no problem. Once the job started his crew was very professional and efficient. The job took two days and they worked late to get it done. The crew was very respectful and clean. They covered all the clothes in the closet and laid down a runway from the front door to the bedroom to ensure they kept everything clean. When finished the overall work looked great. I don't have a single complaint about the job and very satisfied.

L&J's did a great job at my house. They sanded my wood grain paneling, primed, and painted. They painted the walls of 2 other rooms and painted the ceiling for all 3 rooms. They patched some sheet-rock holes, re-textured and you can't even tell there was a hole anywhere. The workers were hard working and very professional. The clean-up was spotless and the house looked great. I will definitely be using L&J's in the future. I even got a discount for being an Angie's list member.

My experience with L & J's painting was excellent. We had just bought a house and wanted all 3 floors painted. I wanted several different colors and some of the walls in the house were curved so I knew they would be tricky to paint. The team were friendly, punctual, cleaned up after themselves and my painted walls look fabulous. If I could put a picture on to show I would!

They did everything as we requested, and they even performed a few unexpected jobs. They started work the day after we gave them approval. Work started on Saturday, and they came back on Monday morning to finish. They did a really nice job on the deck, and as a bonus, they pressure-washed some of the brick and windows on the front of the house. The paint job on the hand rails was done professionally to make sure the paint would not peel off. They even made some adjustments to the front doors, which were getting stuck, and they didn't even charge anything for that. We provided the deck stripper, deck stain, and the hand rail spray paint. Manuel was very accomodating.

Excellent. could not be more pleased. all around great work. they are very skillful , they take their time and make it perfect. good quality work, on time. Manuel is very easy to work with, trustworthy. I will definitely call Manuel again in the future for any painting and carpentry work.

L&J painted my two story entryway and a large powder room. Manuel came to look at the house the day after I called, and emailed me a detailed estimate one or two days later. He gave me good information about choosing a paint while at my home. When I emailed to schedule the services, it took a little longer for him to respond, but they did schedule me for several weeks out. In the meantime, we picked our Sherwin Williams paint and I emailed the colors to him. He confirmed several days before scheduled and his team showed up promptly that morning. They did a great job protecting the floors and furniture. They finished the large entryway and powder room in one day and they look wonderful. After they had started, I asked Manual if they could apply any leftover paint from the powder room to a little wooden stepladder that I keep in there for the kids. He said that it would be better done with an oil based paint, and that he would be glad to pick that up and charge me only for the paint. I agreed, not realizing how much time they were going to put into that little stepladder! They put on a primer coat and did a very nice job of it. Both rooms (and the stepladder!) look great and the team cleaned up very carefully.

The crew showed up on time, worked long hours and got it done with quality work and a minimum of hassle. We especially appreciated that Manuel did not demand payment up front - he waited to invoice us until he was sure we were satisfied. Great job.

Overall everything was great. The price was competitive and the quality was great. In every case the crews were respectful and they cleaned up after themselves. I work out of town and Manuel was good about sending me quotes and working with my schedule. I would highly recommend.

Absolutely great job painting. I have used other painters in the past and now will only use them. Manuel was great with finishing the job in 2 days since I have three children under the age of 2. Great experience!!

Manuel and his crew (which included no less than five workers) were very professional and did absolutely flawless work. All furniture was moved, covered and replaced after completion. The crew arrived each day by 8:00 and ended their day around 6:00. The entire job was completed in five days. I would definitely use L & J again and have already recommended them to my friends.

Manuel from L&J's was punctual and professional at every turn--from the initial quote to the last walkthrough and cleanup. His team worked hard and did excellent work. They painted the exterior of my 2-story home, replaced some rotten trimwork around the garage door, refinished our mahogany front door, and painted the 2-story entryway inside the house. The work took about 2.5 days, including the final touch-ups and clean-up. They even powerwashed my driveway, sidewalks, and patio after powerwashing the house! A few weeks later, some of the wood that was replaced near the west-facing garage doors started to bow out as the wood acclimated to the sun exposure. I called Manuel, and within a day or two, it was repaired and the paint touched up. Almost a year later, the house still looks great. As far as I'm concerned, L&J's will have my future paint business. Their price wasn't the lowest of the three bids I got, but it also wasn't the most expensive. I feel like I really got my money's worth. As a matter of fact, I'm talking to L&J for a quote on an interior paint job at the moment :)

L&J was prompt in replying to our request for a bid. They came out to review the work with me - I was grateful for this as we found some additional areas of wood rot and sheetrock repairs that I had not noticed. They sent a detailed estimate promptly and we set a date. As promised, their crew arrived on time and started on the exterior repairs and painting. They did a great job matching the paint (we live in a duplex townhome and did not want our side to look different from our neighbor's side). The wood rot was replaced with hardiplank and done so well that it is impossible to distinguish between the old and the new. They repaired sheetrock and painted the interior of the garage before moving to the interior work. Inside, they repaired a number of sheetrock cracks and one rather large dent. They were extremely thorough in making these repairs; they dug out the sheetrock around the cracks, filled the area, sanded, refilled, sanded and so on until the areas matched perfectly - they did such a great job, you cannot tell where the cracks were. They painted walls, doors, ceilings and woodwork in the main living areas, the kitchen and the master bathroom. (Their brushwork is excellent!) They kept the site clean and any changes or additions were accepted without hesitation. L&J's crew was professional, respectful and trustworthy - I was extremely comfortable having them work in my home. They showed up on time, every time. At the end of the job, the owner went over everything with me to make sure that we were happy with the final result. Only after that did he send an invoice for the job. I would definitely use L&J again. They did an excellent job and they were reasonably priced.

Manuel and his crew arrived on time and started work quickly. Before the work was scheduled, Manuel answered any questions I had. I also asked them to paint an extra room while they were there. They did an excellent job. They moved furniture back and put my blinds and curtains back up. The inside of our house looks brand new! I will definately use them again for painting projects in the future.

I called L&J to provide an estimate for interior painting at my home. I called on a Tuesday morning and Manuel scheduled a time later that day to come out and provide the quote. He was prompt and professional. The quote provided was for several rooms of trim (crown molding, baseboards), window seals and doors. Manuel is a very pleasant fellow and he provided a competitive quote by the next day. I had another company provide a quote also. The price difference between the two quotes was not significant, but for this job I decided to go with the other company. No reflection on my interaction with Manuel, but the other company seemed equally professional and competent and I had to choose one. Based on my experiences with Manuel, and his quote, I will provide him the opportunity to quote on another job, if I have painting needs in the future.

Very positive experience. When Manuel came by to assess the job, he listened carefully to my requests and promptly responded via email with a reasonable estimate and planned time of completion. His team was very polite, competent and thorough. Consistent with other recommendations I reviewed, I agree that the team is very customer-focused and the work was high quality. I would definitely use them in the future.

He was very prompt and efficient in providing an estimate and follow through on various questions. His crew arrived promptly every morning and worked long hours through the day. They were very helpful in moving things around and great care was taken in cleaning up and putting everything back in place. I was very happy with how the project turned out and would certainly use him again for my nect painting job.

He did a good job. We have received many compliments on our steps. They guarantee their work. They also worked on our shed outside.
