The provider was fairly quick to respond to my phone call. He was punctual for our appointment for an estimate. He gave a very complete and detailed bid for the services we wanted performed. We wanted to have textured walls smoothed, a considerable amount of painting done and removal of popcorn ceiling. We did not end up using L & J because we decided we did not want to invest the money in a condo we were not planning on keeping for the long term.

They were fast, were able to come within a week of us initiating contact, and did a great job. Price seemed fair too. Can't recommend highly enough.

We are delighted with every aspect of L&J's work. Manuel is extremely accommodating and easy to work with. His crew is punctual, efficient and talented. They did everything they said they would do, and more. Minor problems were quickly and easily resolved. There was no hassle in getting some small glitches re-worked. The crew was neat, careful and did excellent clean-up. This was by far the best painting experience we have ever had. The end results are beautiful. Although the job was costly, Manuel's estimate was appreciably lower than two others submitted by large contractors having excellent reputations. We felt that we received excellent value for the money spent. We plan to use L&J's for any and all future paintng projects.

Crew showed up promptly at 8 a.m. each morning and worked until about 6 p.m. each day. Work was very satisfactory and professional. I would definitely use their services again.

Manuel and his crew are excellent. They are not only friendly and courteous, but also punctual and professional. We are so happy with the quality of their work. From the first phone call to the last follow-up after the job, they did everything they promised exactly on time.

I had a leak upstairs that ruined a small section of sheetrock. I called two companies, both quoted the same price, but Manuel actually came to my house to look at what needed to be done. We set an appointment and he showed up right on time. He told me he would email me his quote and I had it by the end of the day. He also sent a copy of his insurance, which I appreciated, but had not expected. We set a date for one of his crew to come out, and on that day, he showed up at the time we agreed on. It was a small hole, but his man spent 4 hours on it taking the time to do it right. He cut a more square hole, patched the sheetrock, applied 2-3 coats of mud, sanded, textured, and painted the area. Now you can't even see where the damage had been. I had problems finding someone to do a small job like this until I saw Manuel on Angie's list. He did the job as if it were the biggest job he had and took his time to get it done right. I really appreciated the time and effort his crew took to complete it. I would not hesitated to recommend him to friends and would certainly use him in the future.

EXCELLENT service. Manuel was prompt in coming out to see the work needing to be done, and very sensitive to my availability for getting the work completed. The two men who actually repaired the walls were polite, clean and worked hard. When they left, I could not tell the repair from the rest of the walls! I am very pleased with their skill.

Working with L&J Painting was a breeze from beginning to end. The quote process was very quick - I received a call back about my voicemail for a quote the same day, and Manuel was able to come to my home to evaluate the work the following day. Once I decided to work with L&J painting, they were able to start in just under two weeks. This was not a bad wait considering how in demand their services are. The actual work took 3 days, and the crew was on time or early every day, cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day, and was very professional in general. I would definitely work with them in the future and recommend them to others. I am a perfectionist, and there were a number of things I disliked about the painting that had been done in the interior of our home when it was purchased. All those issues I saw with the previous painter's work are not an issue with the high quality work provided by L&J. I gave a B for price only because I did receive other quotes that were less, but I could easily tell just through the quote process that the quality of those other providers was not going to be as good as L&J, and I personally would prefer to pay more for better quality workmanship.

We are happy with the results. They painted all the interior walls of our (then unoccupied) 2500 sq ft house. Took them about 4 days. They prepped the walls (filled in holes, caulked where necessary) and took down all the window treatments and put them back up. They left the house clean afterward. They provided the paint (I just gave them the color info) and all of the supplies. The whole experience was very hassle free. I would definitely recommend them and hire them again. Manuel was very polite, professional, easy to get a hold of and work with. I also appreciated how well he was able to accommodate our shcedule as we needed the work done quickly.

They did a excellent job. I was very impressed with their work. At the end of the day, they actually cleaned the house.

Manuel Anton responded to my request for a quote quickly and met me at my convenience. He submitted a written quote with options the next day by e-mail and I replied asking him to proceed with the work. He told me a realistic date he would be able to begin the work and met that date. Although he told me it would take two days, he was able to complete the work in one. His crew did a perfect job and you cannot see the patched area on the ceiling. They cleaned up and replaced the furniture in their exact locations. I will definitely use L&J Painting Services again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone.

I'd never used a painter before, but it went as well as I could have imagined. Everything looks exactly like I had hoped, and they were very easy to work with. Also, I found their prices very reasonable. I will definitely use them again if we decide to paint anything else.

It went great. Manuel came out and gave an estimate. He arrived on time. He explained how he does business. Manuel was very knowledgeable about the paint products to use. His fee quote was received on time. During the process, Manuel always responded to emails and phone calls. The day of the service, Manuel and his team arrived early and finished the same day. They left the area clean and without any damage to the done to the house. I can truly say this was the most effortless experience I have had to date with a contractor. We are going to do more painting upstairs in the spring and Manuel will be the only person I call.

Manuel and his team are GREAT! Super polite, super respectful, thorough, detailed, and timely. Manuel and I discussed the job (a complete repainting of my 1920's bungalow - including the new addition and the detached garage), walked the house to identify problem areas and talked about products to use and quality of paints and we talked about timing and scheduling. His bid was thorough and accurate and reflected our conversation. When a slot came open for my project (about a week or two after the bid), Manuel called and his team arrived the next day. His team diligently worked on my house every day (except Saturdays and Sundays) for the next two to three weeks. They arrived early and stayed late everyday. They cleaned up everyday and were thorough and polite and accommodated my two large (friendly) dogs. These folks ARE DETAILED and THOROUGH and the end result is BEAUTIFUL. I am using them for the interior of my house next!!!!

L & J's Painting Services was good. They work very carefully and they were nice workers. They were very polite, they did a good job and they were very patient.

From beginning to end, they were a pleasure to work with. They worked long hours, to be sure they got the job done quickly and paid careful attention to detail and made sure we were happy with our drywall, texture and painting before asking for payment. I am very happy with the final results and I plan to use them again!

I cannot say enough good things about them. I have referred them to five different people and everybody loved them. They went over what I would ever consider any kind of reasonable amount to please me. They put my burglar boards back up every night and took them down at the daytime to paint my windows. When they say that they would be here at eight o'clock, they would be here at 7:30 and would wait outside and would not move until eight o'clock. They were as professional as any people I've ever met and I got more than what I paid for.

Manuel arrived on time. He was very professional and courteous, and noticed some things that needed to be corrected that I had not noticed. We received the estimate when promised, and it was very reasonable. Manuel seemed concerned about our satisfaction, emphasizing that money down was not necessary- we would pay only after the work was completed to our satisfaction. We subsequently decided not to purchase the house, but I was so impressed by Manuel that I would call him again and recommend him to others.

Received estimates from Manuel with Angie's List discount. Because of popularity their schedule was a little tight. However, they got in as soon as they could. The painters were professional about their business. It took some work to make sure things went as planned. Bathrooms were the target and it took come coordination between sink and mirror installation but things came through. The work was good. As a result, we asked for a second bid to have our entry foyer done. The price was not the best even with AL discount but we wanted to stick with Manuel and L&J for this. The work done was still very good. What was disappointing was that final touch up of the bathrooms could not be worked out with the Manuel or whomever. I tried to contact them via email and phone but to no avail. It did not help that I paid them on the spot without really coordinating a return visit to finish the rest of the final touch up.

I would recommend L & J Painting Services to anyone wanting an excellent job. I did not get another quote because I was so impressed when talking to Manuel about what I needed. They prepped everything before they painted and were very thorough in covering everything before they started. Their quality of painting was excellent. It took them 2 1/2 days and when they finished each day they picked up everything and put it in the garage leaving the areas clean and free from all their equipment, etc. All the workers were friendly and courteous. The only break they took was a lunch break. They showed up on time and one night even worked late so the trim would have time to dry overnight so we could use the bathroom the next day. The estimate Manuel gave me was very detailed so that you knew exactly what you would be paying for. I will be using Manuel and L & J's Painting again.

Everything about L&J Painting services was professional and well executed!!! Manuel was able to give a written quote within five days of our initial inquiry. Painting was scheduled for five days after that on my day off of work. Manuel and his crew arrived promptly at 8:00AM and commenced work immediately. We wanted the paint to match existing paint so that we would not need to repaint entire rooms and hallways at this time. Manuel was concerned that the paint left behind when the house was originally painted which I had given him to make the paint purchase for this job was not now a match. He took a chip from the walls being painted, and had the paint matched exactly. While he was purchasing the paint, the crew taped, moved furniture, took art work off of the walls, and covered everything in the rooms that were going to painted. By the time Manuel returned, they were ready to start painting. They literally worked all day; they did not even stop for lunch. They were quiet, diligent workers who were respectful of my home, its furnishings, my family - and even my little dog!! The finished product was more than we had hoped for. It looks like new again!! Plus, everything was cleaned and put back in place - including the art work!!!! I expected to be spending all day Saturday putting my house back together, but there was nothing left to do. This crew provided a service above and beyond the expected!! We are looking forward to having more work done in our home by L & J!!!! They will be the painters we will use as we slowly repaint our entire home!!!

After getting Manuel's name from ANgie's List, I requested an estimate. He ws propmt, respectful and professional, and sent a written estimate describing the work and breaking the price out by room as I requested so I couls reduce the project scope if needed. He even calculated in the Angie's List coupon! As it was, his quote was terrific, and I contacted him to schedule. He was able to work me in on a Friday to complete the job before my kids came home, which was great so they would be surprised with their finished rooms. Manuel and his crew arrived promptly, and got right to work. They provided all their own draping, prepped the rooms and I didn't have to move anything by myself! They removed the switchplates and the blinds and carefully covered furniture. They stayed on task, and it was excellent work! They finished on Friday and scheduled to come back on Saturday morning based on my schedule to complete the work. They put everything back, vacuumed the rooms and even swept out the entry hall on their way out the door. Price was as-quoted, and the work was perfect. They even touched up a few places where the wall colors met to ensure a perfect finish. His team is not on hard-working, but they are respectful and professional. I will only use them for all my painting needs in the future. Braco to a small business that does great work and treats the customer right!

Like I said, they were nice, gave me a nice emailed quote, but their quote was a large percentage of the price I paid for the house! Wow. Note sure if I received a higher quote because of demographics, or if the company is overcharging everyone, but please, get a couple of other quotes.

L&J painted the living room, dining room and bathrooms of my new condo. They did a fantastic job. They were punctual and even waited for me to return home when property management could not locate the master key to my place. They had a large crew and worked quickly. Manny is very friendly and personable.
