Junk King Houston

We had about 2 dozen contractor garbage bags that needed to be disposed of as well as a rickety bookshelf, good desk (but bigger than I still want), a few file cabinets and other items that wouldn't fit in a garbage bag...about 1/6-1/4 of a truck. They also took some old mirrors that had been removed during some renovation. The guys at Junk King were awesome! A team of 3 guys including one of the owners, called me when they were on their way and got everything cleaned out within about 30 minutes. The best $ I've spent to finish up our move. They were friendly and professional! (One of the owners is a retired Chemistry teacher and the other owner's wife is a teacher...we teachers have to stick together!) Plus, they will go through things and anything that can be salvaged and reused/recycled etc (like the desk that still had all parts and rickety bookshelf) will be salvaged and not sent to a landfill...AWESOME! All I can say is a HUGE "thank you" to Angie's list & members for the rec and to the Junk King crew for a great job!

Everyone was so courteous. We live outside of Austin and had to go to Houston to remove some items from the garage so we were in a time crunch, then we ended up having to reschedule (2x) and they were so patient, professional, and courteous. I really can not say enough good things about this company. Price was exactly what we expected, they were great!

The Junk King employees arrived on time. They did a good job cleaning up after they removed the hot tub. I would use this company's services again.

The company called to confirm the appointment time the day before. They also called when they were on their way. They picked up old leftover building supplies and had room for more. They were quick, efficient and pleasant.

This company is great!! I called Clark this morning at 8:00 and they came out about 9:45a.m. We had cleaned out our garage yesterday and all the "stuff" was out by the front door. We could barely get to the door. They came when they said they would. They called to let us know they were on their way. They worked fast and completely cleared out the stuff and swept up. All of the guys were sooooooo nice. I would HIGHLY recommend these guys!!!! No hesitation at all!! It's soooooooo nice to have a company with nice people you can call to help you get rid of things you have no idea what to do with!

Things went very well. They came out within hours from the time I called on them, they were very professional and friendly and did a wonderful job of cleaning up my back yard. They were very careful and thorough. They actually made me feel really good about hiring them.

Prompt reply to my request for service. Called and scheduled the best pick up time. Arrived on time. Explained quote, and moved away a large sofa and a small wicker trunk. Very professional and fast! Price was fair, but would have preferred to pay a little less.

They picked up the pile and took additional recyclables, including a non-working TV and water heater, as well - and recycled them for me. They swept up the area and left it cleaner than they found it! They did a great job!

They were very polite and professional. This is hard, hot sweaty work in June in Houston, but the three men kept their cool and were very courteous and cheerful. They kept in touch to let me know they would be a bit delayed, and then called back to specify when they would be arriving. I would definitely call them again.

When I couldn't contact the company I'd used before, I found Junk-King on Angie's List and reserved a spot online. On the day of the appointment, they were able to come early (after checking with me first), and were fast, friendly and efficient, enabling me to free up both my space and my time.
