They were very courteous and efficient. There was a difference in cost from the estimate. They are still processing that. The guys in Texas and South Carolina were excellent. Nothing was broken, and they got along with my dog. I would recommend them as an A rated company for anyone who requires their service. Melia is a contractor for Nationwide Movers. Both companies were professional. Kudos to Brandon with Melia and Sue the dispatcher at Nationwide. They moved everything along very smoothly.

We were very pleased.

The price was higher than most moving companies, but it was evident why once they began moving our things. Melia's team was far more professional and courteous than other movers in our experience. They went the extra mile to navigate our refrigerator through several doors and tightly fitted corners. They kept good care of our things. There were no breaks and only minor, very minor, signs on some things being moved, which was expected. They were also very friendly and fun. They moved us out, over, and in very quickly. Great service. Highly recommend.

I hired this moving company to move my 1000 lb waterwall from garage to backyard. No other moving company was capable or willing to complete the task ( I called over 5). The team was punctual and professional. Not only that they were done in less than 10 minutes and their exact words were "it was a piece of cake". I had to pay a 4 hour minimum for 4 men but personally I was just happy it was done safely so that was fine by me. If you need a professional moving company who are capable of handling just about any task...I highly recommend recommend them.

Issac came out and gave an estimate for the job. He had been working for the company over 20 years and really knew what he was doing. Four men arrived at the door exactly on time on the arranged day. They went on a tour as to what was to be done. Ours was a confusing job. We had 42 boxes to go to a storage unit. Then we had a full house full of furniture but only half was to go to the apartment; the rest was to be left for the estate sale. And finally, about 10 pieces of furniture had to be brought downstairs from the attic after there was room for it when several pieces were taken out of the house. This was not an easy chore. We have a huge piece of floor cut out in attic which weighs a lot. This has to be lifted out; then furniture can come down. Otherwise the items would have to be brought down a narrow winding staircase. The four men - Troy Gino Stephen, and Scottie worked extremely hard and; they never complained about the difficulty of the job or how hard it all was. The first stop was the new apartment. This was very difficult too. The complex does not allow any trucks to pull inside of the fence. Thus, they had to park on the street and haul everything down the road at least 100 yards to get to the elevator and come up a floor and then down the hall to our apartment. Again not a word of complaints. After that was done, they drove over to the storage unit and hauled the 42 boxes to the unit and put the boxes in numerical order! We were so pleased with them and their job.

For the most part, the move itself seemed to go well. The crew was responsive to our requests. The fee gave us slight sticker shock, but we didn't argue since the move did take a long time. Later, as we began to sort things out, we realized that some of our furniture had been noticeably dinged. The laminate floors were also dinged in at least one spot in a very noticeable area. We were not at all pleased with the damages. I would not use them again.

My experience has been very good with them. They are so over the top good! The only time that they broke something, they fixed it immediate. One man even fell on his back before he let a piece of furniture fall.

The PODS were packed poorly and many items were broken. Moved into a new home, brand new construction and they dinged walls and scratched and gouged new wood floors, even though asking them to be extremely careful. The movers were not professional and infighting was common. The team leader was arguing with the others, very uncomfortable situation. Every item was rushed. I had to constantly remind them to place cardboard, etc., on the new wood floors to protect them. I would never use this company again.

Three packers were sent to pack all of our household goods. When we noticed the taped-up boxes did not seem very solid, we brought it to their attention. After speaking with Johnnie Melia, who assured us they would make sure the packing was done properly, the packers continued the job. Upon unpacking our boxes at our destination, we found the most atrocious packing job we had ever seen in 15 cross-country moves. Items that should have been carefully wrapped were not wrapped, but thrown in a box. Items that should have been taken apart were not; some that should not have been taken apart were, resulting in damage. Some boxes looked as if a 6-year-old had just dumped numerous items into the box with nothing wrapped. Numerous items were broken or damaged. I was positively shocked that any company calling itself professional could have done such a poor job.
