Troy came out on time and gave us an estimate on 6 items. Came out a distant 4th out of 4 cost-wise. He was very professional and thorough in his explaining what they would do and the warranties they provided. The warranties were better than the other quotes we received but the prices were out of sight. We elected to go with another company.
Description of Work: Came out and gave us an estimate on 6 items including a new hot water heater in the attic.

Carpet cleaning crew led by Howard did a fantastic job of cleaning. They moved everything out of the way and put it all back when the carpet was cleaned. I will definitely use this crew again and recommend them to my friends.

All three technicians were very personable and polite as well as professional. I was so appreciative that they replaced some burned out bulbs. I had not asked for this extra service so I was very impressed that it was offered. I had difficulty getting the replacement bulbs into the socket the last time I replaced bulbs and merely wanted to know what caused this. Allan immediately asked if I had some bulbs and replaced several that were burned out. Then he said I had time to get more bulbs before Ramon and Larry, the other technicians arrived so I did and Larry replaced the bulb in the front entry way for me. I am arthritic and afraid of heights so I REALLY appreciated this kind gesture on the part of both men. I think they should all three make you very proud

I had one of their competitors come out last week and do an A/C inspection and they told me, on 3yr old unit, that I would have to have both evaporator coils in the attic replaced, as they were leaking. They wanted to charge me $3500 a piece for each one, I am glad I called you for a second opinion. You will be my company of choice for A/C and Plumbing/Electrical going forward, highly recommend honest service and not trying to sell me what I don't need. Thanks, John Moore.

Incredibly frustrating experience. the plumbers came back to the house no less than 7 times before finally completing the job and passing inspection. After the initial install I called to complain and they sent the quality control specialist out. He admitted the job wouldn't pass inspection. The frame it was hung on was insecure, cockeyed and loosely attached to the roof joists and attic flooring. The gas line was hooked up with the wrong fittings. After a week the QC specialist was back out instructing the original plumber on how to hook up the water heater. The second time was better, we thought we were done. but the job was still not correct. After the QC specialist came back to review the job he was still not satisfied. He admitted there were more problems needing correction. Third time for the original plumber was a charm, I thought.. He finished the job, left and a week later the city inspector shows up. He red tagged the installation. There were 5 or 6 problems but the Scary problem was a gas leak, noticeable from the smell. The QC specialist came back out and finished the job himself after that. On the water remediation job, the guys were generally pretty good. Except that they wound up cutting out too much of the wall and moulding. And then when they were hauling out the debris, they dragged the material across the hardwood floors scratching them to the point that they needed to be repaired. This from a company I called because I thought they were an old well established company here in town. Yikes, be careful and my recommendation is that if you do use them, watch them like a hawk and make them come back until they get it right.

The power went out in my house and I called a few companies to see who had technicians available at reasonable rates. I called John Moore and received Customer Service, very polite and professional. Arranged a technician for that day and explained that I had no power and wanted to ensure the technician would be there as planned. I was reassured that there would be no problems and the technician would arrive between 4pm and 6pm. I informed them that I have a young family and with no power I really needed them to arrive as scheduled, particularly as it was Friday evening. At 4.35pm that day I receievd a call from their despatch and was informed they were too busy and no longer would they have a technician available. I explained my situation and was told that that was not their problem, it was their customer service problem as they had already told them that they should not be arranging appointments for my scheduled time. I told them the predicament I was in (young family and no power) and that I felt they should be doing everything they could to resolve it. I was told "its impossible, we have no one available" By the time I managed to find another suitable company I had to pay double rate as I was calling them out after hours on a Friday evening. Will never consider John Moore in future.
Description of Work: Nothing apart from caused unnecessary headaches.

Their work has been very good. You call them and they're usually there that day. They will come out and determine what type of service you really need. Then they will have someone else come out that day (if necessary) or schedule a time. They really know what they're doing.
Description of Work: They completely re-plumbed our house, and they do maintenance on our air conditioning and heating. They also replaced the hot water heater.

it did not go well. The unit was over priced for what i got and and was not installed correctly. They had to come back out the next day and reinstall the unit. Then when the weather got cold the heater did not work right.They had to come back out several times to get that fixed. The salesman was very professional but the product was over priced and the installation uas poor and not done correctly.

They came quickly. The plumber was knowledgeable and he was professional. He did a great job. He didn’t do anything without asking me first. I had him out a out a couple months ago since we had main sewer line cleaned out. He was able to do the job during the night time too. I was just very pleased and I will use them again.

I used them to change an outside water shower head. They are very prompt and professional. They always get things done. They are more expensive, but they are worth it. Everything is efficient and they are local. The technicians have their own trucks. I wished I could give them an A+.

The quote they gave us was a little high and we decided not to go with them for the job.

We have had issues each time they have come out where they have found things that I have felt they have upsold me on to the tune of $1,000. It was like a used car sales experience. A more senior technician checked things out this time and assured me nothing is wrong with the system and he gave me tips on what to ask in the future to not be taken advantage of. He was helpful and professional in this regard but I will not likely be using them again but I do felt they tried to make things right this last time.

Not good. $1000 and 2 trips by the same tech lights weren't working properly. Not sure why they decided to send the same tech who couldn't figure it out the first day. Asked to have a manager call me, never happened. Filled out a review few months later and they finally contacted me, however bc I had their work fixed the next day, was having a party at the house, they said there was nothing they could do. They were nice enough to charge me $200 per light switch to not get them working and not install the ones I asked them to install.
