Work was excellent; hard working and did more than was asked for. Work was completed in 2 days with a large crew. Jon, business owner, was on site the full time. Would highly recommend.

Very basic drawing provided, never got detailed bid scanned as promised. Not able to provide a couple of services he had said he could. But work done including turning beds and laying sod turned out well - had someone else working on the wooden gate - his crew worked hard and late to get job done

They are not he cheapest and we have had a few issues with some of the plants. they have taken care of some of them, but many we are replacing on our own.

Jon designed a new garden for the front of our house. We didn't care for the stone border he chose. No problem, he sent us pictures of other stones, we chose one and went with it. His team came to the house, pulled out all the old stuff, put on soil, planted, put down mulch and resodded some of our grass. We hadn't planned on stones around the trees, but he had some left over, so he used them there. We also hadn't talked about a sprinkler system. Once again, no problem. Jon went out and got some sprinkler heads and hoses and set something up. Everything looks great. Everything went as planned. Great job.

My neighbor and I belong to Angie's list. We each needed landscape work: mine in front and back; hers in the front only. I selected three (3) landscape designers from Angie and we met with all three for bids on our respective yards. The first bidder didn't listen to what we wanted. Instead he told us what we needed and never followed up on his proposal. It was by far the lowest price; but his customer-relation skills left a lot to be desired. The second bidder supplied a beautiful design but was way too high for the work we needed. I sent an email thanking him. I told him we loved the design and liked him. I told him the bid was too high. He never followed up to discuss a lesser plan. I would think a lesser job is better than no job; but, perhaps we just had jobs too small for his company. Jon with J. B. Landscape also gave us a wonderful proposal; but, it too was way beyond what we wanted. I made a suggestion of a lesser plan and Jon immediately responded with a more "toned down" plan for my yard and for my neighbor's yard. He insisted on presenting his proposals in person and was very open to discussing all alternatives. His professionalism and customer-relation skills made our decision. We accepted the new bids right away. Jon and his crew showed up on time and worked every second of the day to finish the job. Each crew member was professionally attired, polite, clean, and knowledgeable in his duties. Jon worked along with the crew and watched every detail. Even though they were very busy, Jon never hesitated to stop and answer our questions. At the end of the job, Jon and his crew cleaned everything down to the littlest leaf. The finished yards are beautiful! We can not be more pleased. I highly recommend J. B. Design Inc. for all of your landscape design needs both big and small. This group wins my vote and I hope other members of Angie's List will give them a chance to beautify your yard as well.

It looks awesome! We could not be happier. It is so pretty and he is such a nice guy! He is always going the extra mile, and if he sees something extra, he goes and does it. He works all day and doesn't leave until its done. I get the feeling he is as excited about it as I am. His pricing is also fair, and I would even use him at my house.

They were so wonderful to work with, always responded immediately when I had a question. They are very professional and creative!

Work was completed on time, per agreed upon schedule. My neighbors have since complimented the improved look of my yard. I am very satisfied with the experience I had with this company.

Jon and his crew are real professionals. Work was outstanding. Highly recommend.

It has only been two weeks

This project is not finished. I will recount after it is completed however at this point mid way through the project i look forward to future collaboration. Hardscape as well and installation of plants and trees.

Absolutely great! Jon greeted us with a firm hand shake, a smile, and his card. We went outside and talked about what changes we wanted in the landscaping. In the back, which is on the lakefront, our plants were old and over grown. The existing beds had layers of bull rock and were riddled with wandering jew. We told Jon that were were interested in getting rid of everything, except 2 queen palms. We mentioned that we wanted stone edging both in the back and around one bed in the front yard. Several days later Jon brought over a detailed colored sketch of his design, which was excellent, and a folder which contained more information about his company, including a copy of his insurance. He assured us that he would be on site with the crew (and he was, working even harder than they!). In creating the design, he took into consideration the dock, patio, and columns in the back of the house. He selected plants that would not block our view and were weather-hardy. He also brought over samples of the stone. We approved the design and scheduled the work. He arrived with his crew on a Friday afternoon. They began removing plants and bedrock in the back. In the front they started cutting the stone for the bed edges. We were amazed how much work they completed before leaving for the day. They arrived early the next morning and completed the remaining work. We did not ask them to do all the extra work in the front yard, except for the stone edging. Now we can enjoy the beauty of our patio!

I am so pleased! Had our first rain this morning since the work was done and there was no lake of standing water around the foundation. Aside from that, the backyard is gorgeous. Jon moved around plants already growing on the unseen side of the house. He accented the gorgeous oak in the backyard. In fact, our next door neighbors came over to see and remarked that they'd never really noticed the tree before. (We just moved into the house in November.) Jon promptly returned phone calls, showed up when he said he would and was fast with the work. In fact, I'll warn you right now that he's rather hyper... Turned out to be a blessing for us.
