Now the business is being run by his two sons--dba Rodriquez Lawn & Landscaping. I was hopeful that the brothers would run the business in a way that we could continue to work together. Unfortunately, I did not even receive a response to my email request for the opportunity to give them more of my business. In a 2014 email, I requested a bid for mulching and some in-depth cleanup services. No answer. I called. No answer. On one occasion (also this past year), I was appalled to find several well-established shrubs, including a large nandina, trimmed to small squares. When I stated my preference for a natural-looking yard, I was stunned to encounter an argumentative tone and defensive stance. After a very long conversation that left me exhausted, we settled things in an amicable way. But it left me feeling disrespected. The last straw: When their crew mowed at the end of December (last week), my lawn was torn up by their large riding mower. I have a rather small subdivision lot, so the riding mower has done damage on numerous occasions--and the damage was obvious. They blamed it on my lawn. My neighbor's lawn was torn up worse than mine, and he is similarly unhappy. For more than 20 years I have paid this company to mow and edge my lawn. Yet I find myself unable to continue. They seem to have enough business that frankly I don't think the loss of one or two customers will matter much to them, if at all. In my experience, the work ethics my generation grew up with are clearly lacking. I find that quite sad.

He is fabulous; he's excellent. I have two lots at my house and I pay $180 a month. The office is a large piece of property and I pay $300 a month; it is almost an acre. He takes very good care of his business and he runs it like a business. He comes every week and I don't have to remind him. He does excellent work and he will do extra work. He takes a lot of pride in what he does. He is wonderful. His price is fair. I've used him at my house for years and I have nothing to complain about.

We have used Javier's Lawn Service for many years. He moved with us from our previous home. He is very dependable and will do special services for our lawn as needed such as replacing plants, etc.

Could not have gone worse. I still need my yard done. I feel sorry for anyone who hires them.

We had a great deal of debris from pine trees in the backyard, including limbs and several inches of pine needles. They raked it all up down to bare dirt, as asked, and cleaned the backyard of all the overgrown bushes and low tree limbs. In the front yard, we had a flowerbed that was overgrown, full of weeds and grass, and in general neglect. They tore out all the ugly stuff, turned over the weedy soil and added new mulch. They also installed a border of stones and it looks really nice now. They are very nice, helpful, full of advice and very experienced. They always ask if everything looks good to me and are eager to please. They come every other week for us now and mow, edge, weed-eat, trim bushes and blow for $35. I've been very happy with the job they're doing.

They are very reliable. Even when it's been raining a lot, they show up within a day or two of their scheduled time. They do a very nice job. They gather up all of the clippings and bag them. They are very friendly. Their team speaks very good English, which is helpful. They seem to be very nice. I asked them to provide a winter service once, and they did it right away.
