Description of Work: I had two recliners recovered. I used fabric from Calico Corners and ordered based the amount of fabric based on the upholsterer's recommendation. Both pieces were well done and should last a long time. They picked up and delivered. One piece had to go up a long flight of stairs and the pickup guys were very careful. I would definitely use them again. The location off 34th St. in Oak Forest was very convenient.

Description of Work: He reupholstered a chair and chaise. Some of the lines were lost in the way he did the chaise which I think it lost some of it's appeal. He was very nice but limited in what he could do creatively. If you are wanting a certain look with multiple fabrics or high fashion look, go to someone else.

Description of Work: I had a small job done and they are currently working on another chair. Marilyn has a good eye for what will look good and helps when asked. The shop is professional and the quality of the work is excellent. I looked at many of the finished pieces before leaving my items.  + -1 moreI worked with Marilyn at Jack Johnson Upholstery. She allowed me take home several swatch books to choose my fabric, there was a wide range of choices. Once I chose the fabric, she did the estimate in a few minutes and gave me a delivery date of 4 weeks. The cushions were actually ready 1week early. They were well made, box cushions with no welting. The price was very reasonable. I couldn't be more pleased. I would recommend their services and will use them in the future.
Description of Work: I needed cushions for my danish modern sofa and love seat recovered in vinyl for easy maintenance; a total of 10 cushions. The bottom cushions needed to have the foam replaced.

 + -1 moreI called them for an estimate and they were able to provide me one over the phone. We arranged a pick up day. They were on time and very courteous. My furniture was ready when promised and both the chair and ottoman look great. The total cost was slightly higher than the estimate because they needed to replace the foam in the ottoman. I'm glad they did because it made a huge difference in the ottoman's appearance. I would definitely use them again.

They came and got the chair the same day and had it back to me in two weeks as they had stated. The chair came out beautiful!! I will recommend them to my friends and will use them again.

 + -1 moreWe called them to repair a broken leather recliner. They said they could repair and were very specific and clear about how long it would take them to repair it ( 1 week). They can pick up and delivery. We dropped it off because they said it would shorten repair time. It was done on time. Delivered on schedule. The price was reasonable price and almost exactly what they quoted. Both Jack and his wife were approachable and easy to talk with.
