I had this company install 2 new air conditioning units back in 2017 that we're fully under warranty. Have had numerous issues, and prices, even with warranty ,were much higher than other air conditioning businesses. They were very non response this last time and didn't make any deadlines and I eventually had to call a different company to come work on the air conditioning units. The other company also did the repairs for a much more reasonable price than Indoor Comfort. After deadlines had passed, I tried calling to find out why, but they stopped answering phones and never showed up. Very unreliable at a time when the weather was very hot and my house was extremely uncomfortable. At least I was able to find other, more reliable, air conditioning companies so I will never have to use Indoor Comfort again.

We have an underground cistern for cooling. We don't have normal air conditioning. It's piping that goes into the ground and it runs water to cool and to heat. They're outstanding. They do it twice a year and it's $360 a year. I called them at 2 o'clock on Friday and they were here at 8 on Saturday morning. There could not be a better company in Houston. They are outstanding in all areas. In the winter they send 2 people and in the summer they send 1. For 7 units it takes about 6 hours.

Mateo came out and did the inspections, was very polite, and at the end gave me paperwork showing all the results he had found. Air conditioning is working great and I highly recommend Indoor Comfort Specialists.

This company is very professional, very prompt, very reliable, and we would recommend them to anyone who has AC or Heating needs in their Home or Business. We have used them also to do work at our business.

Fair warning DON'T use this company. After hearing them get all the local praise on sports radio in town, obviously paid a lot of money for the press, I decided to give them a try as my usual guy was across town and not able to make it that day. I called them up and told them exactly what I needed, all I needed was the thermostat replaced nothing more nothing less. They sent out a contractor who immediately smelled blood as it was a fairly new house. Guy said he had only one thermostat in the truck, again I had called to tell them exactly what I needed, and this thermostat was going to cost me a total of $375 to get installed. Sweating bullets from the heat, I asked him how much would it cost if i ran a block down to buy the same thermostat. His answer "$200 at least". Not doing my research I told him to go ahead. Later that day I ran to Home Depot to pick something else up and decided to look to see if I had been had. Sure enough there was my thermostat with a $21.99 price tag right in front of me. I proceeded to call three local competitors in town who all quoted me $100 to get the same installation that these guys had done for $400. I then called the manager at Indoor Comfort who said and I quote, "If you were to go to the steakhouse down the street wouldn't you expect them to charge a markup for the same steak you could get at the grocery store." Yes I would but not the 20x mark up that indoor comfort solutions wanted to charge, huge disconnect and great way to treat your customers. Sorry for the narative but I want to get it out there are a hundred local guys in town who a) won't rip you off b) try to make you feel dumb about it and 3) do much a better job than these guys do. Again do not use these guys

It was extremely hot outside, they were 1 of the only companies that would work w/ me as we had to place the air conditioner on the unit. They quoted high but they said they could get it done right away. as the day came to a close, they tried to renegotiate and say they'd finish the next day, but I said, that's not what you quoted and asked for $$ back, they said they'd finish. They did on one of the 2 units and by 6 am the next day that unit had failed. They told me that I needed to pay them MORE money, but eventually agreed to finish the job as promised. Thus the low professionalism grade. In the end, they did the job, but with attitude and were not worth the extremely high cost...

They send me a notice that I need service. They installed the system, and they do a good.

Their price was reasonable considering they checked our compressor and drain pan. It looks good.

Overall it didn't go too bad. The salespeson was very polite. The pricing was reasonable. The day of the installation there were some things that could have gone better, but nothing major. Unfortunately it rained most of the day hindering the outside work a bit. And as they were wrapping up they realized they had forgotten to bring the new thermostat or rather the salesperson had not put it in the work order. So that caused a little delay as the installers waited on the salesperson to bring the missing thermostat. But after that all went well. The thing I appreciate from this company is that when things don't go quite as expected, they try their best to make it right. For example, after the A/C was installed, a couple of months later I noticed that my dehumidier (a different unit) had stopped working so I called them because it seemed strange that coincidentally this had happened following the new A/C installation. Well, they did visit me again and verified that the humidistat needed some adjusting, and they took care of that at no charge. The owner himself came out to my home to make sure I was completely satisfied. In the end, I was/am. It was a big investment and I was very uneasy about choosing a contractor for that job. All in all, I made the right choice.

We called this company our for our A/C not cooling. They arrived within 4 hours as promised and found that our capacitor had gone out. We were told that the cost to replace the capacitor would be $278 + an $89 diagnostic fee. We agreed to the service and then realized that something didn't sound right. It took the tech a total of 7 minutes to replace the part. We looked up the part online and the cost was $30. I understand that they have to make a profit, but that is ridiculous. We contacted the supervisor in the office and he agreed to knock off $75 in exchange for lowering the warranty timeframe from 1 year to 30 days. I will never use them again.

I would never have them come to my house again.

They fixed the drain line which was not set a correct pitch. Replaced the pump & thermostat. I found this company from Angies list. We had HousePro (from our home warranty company) come out 3 times. Each time they tried to "force" us to buy a new unit and claimed the malfunction was due to neglect. This seems to be the common theme with these companies sent from 1st American. Nonetheless, he diagnosed and repaired the problem in one day!!!! The were VERY professional, reasonable and gave us an "honest" opinion. Kudos to Indoor Comfort Specialists. Shame on House Pro.

Jerry is very professional and has been to many schools to be certified in his field. I was very pleased with the detailed electronic information that he gave me (including brochures and other documents). He spent a good amount of time responding to my emails and on the phone with me. I fully intend to get back with him for a design and cost estimate when we get farther along in the design of our new home. All in all, I feel very comfortable with ICS as I have had a great experience so far with him.

Oh my gosh! What a great company! The service tech was absolutely wonderful, professional, and cheerful, even though he was working in a hot attic. The company gave great advance notice about when they would be there and worked around my schedule. I plan to use them for my yearly maintenance service on the AC and furnace units as well.

Needed diagnosis and repair of a problem with an air conditioner indentified during a home inspection. ICS was very timely in getting me on the schedule, they came the next day. Repairman was punctional and did work in a very efficient and professional manner. He was able to explain the problem and necessary repairs to me. My air conditioner needed additional freon. Price was very reasonable for the work performed and was consistent with my expectations based on my initial phone call with ICS. I would defintely use these guys again. I believe they used to be called Egan & Hinson. I don't have anything to complain about regarding my experience with them, which to me is very unusual for any sort of home repair. Most importantly to me, they seemed very honest and did not try to oversell me or perform unnecessary work.

I found the company to be very responsive. I called and they were able to get me on the schedule in a very reasonable amount of time. The crew showed up on time as promised. I was very impressed with their attention to detail. Since they were going back and forth from the attic to their truck, they put down a painters tarp to keep from tracking in dirt and debris from outside and down from the attic. Overall I was very impressed me their service.

I believe they are honest. They are on time to the job. The product is exactly as they described it. They always clean up when they are done. Frank is the coordinator of the group and he is very responsive with us. They do consistently good work.

After this initial visit I kept these people around. They provide 24 hour service and were out immediately after the call. They are very trustworthy, reliable, and extremely professional. Egan and Hinson will explain the problem, tell you what needs to be fixed and gives you options. They are true professionals. The workmen they have are courteous and caring, which you don't find do often now.
