IMPRESSIONS IN CONCRETE INC

Work was acceptable but process not well organized.

Very well pleased. Impressions was very flexible, handled all facets professionally.

Contacted company, they gave me an estimate, we agreed on a time and price and I signed a contract. The workers were polite, on time and worked very diligently. However the company's scheduler seemed a little out of touch. A pile of broken concrete was left at the end of our driveway, forcing the pouring team to use a wheel borrow to trundle the wet cement from the truck to the drive way and there was lime left on our lawn which caused some burn spots. When the truck came to pick up the broken concrete, after the new concrete had set up, he was not careful with the broken pieces and when he lifted the pieces from the pile some fell onto the new driveway leaving marks. We had to sweep afterward, including the street in front of our house after the crew left as they had left small bits of stone and sand all over our street.

Bid was late. Did not use. Job was completed before they submitted a bid.

Our new driveway and sidewalk look really nice. There has been no cracking or anything with either of them. They got both of them poured on the same day and we were able to start driving on it the next day. I am really happy with how both turned out.

The initial job survey was professional. Mr Petrvalsky was knowledgeable about the process and the companies products and options. He gave a list of recent work, many high end homes. He dealt patiently with us as we arrived at a final configuration. Bidding against a quality vendor, they may not be initially the lowest bid, but with negotiation can get in the ballpark and provide quality work. Generally they don't sub out their work as I think many of big TV advertised folks do. John Viviano ran the crew and was excellent to work with. They were well supervised, efficient, orderly in their work, and as neat as can be expected given the kind of work it is. They cleaned up the site thoroughly. John accommodated the minor variations in getting the job to everyone's liking. Very easy to work with all in all. Their crew has been with them 8-10 years and are skilled. Definitely worth a few hundred $ more on this size job. These jobs go better if the owner can be on site through out.
