Thank goodness this guy brought a helper otherwise it would have been a total disaster. He didn't show up on time, seemed more concerned about being on the phone and getting to his next job instead of working with his helper on getting the project done within the two hour time frame. In the end, they installed the switch upside down. I would hire the helper before I will hire this guy again.

Called ahead of time to see if would be available for the work. Said he could do it so I purchased the coupon on Angie's List. Told him I purchased it and wanted him to come out this week as agreed on the phone prior to purchase. Told me he doesn't make any money on the big deal and to call Angie's List to get a refund and purchase through him direct. I then told him why do you have the coupon online if you don't honor it and he said it's an old coupon and again, makes no money on the deal. Ended up calling Angie's List to get refunded for the coupon I purchased. He told me I could pay him directly the $319 and get the work done but didn't feel up for it after the way things went down. Can't comment on actual work performed, just how things went when purchasing the service.

Although I didn't choose them for service, there customer service was great and they quickly responded to my needs and questions. I would recommend them because of there great customer service.

Conrad Tips of Husbands for Hire was punctual, and efficient. He finished everything as I requested at the quoted price. Would highly recommend.

Introduced himself & staff, asked what I need done & went to work then asked if anything else needed done while Dan was being assembled & then asked any other projects.

Tim contacted me quickly after I purchased the offer, and responded quickly again when I was ready to do the work! He did a good job and was very neat- no mess to deal with after he left. I will use him again.

I was generally pleased with the work done. My only thought afterward was that perhaps Conrad should have helped his workman move that heavy ladder around. Conrad mentioned that the ladder for electrical work was much heavier than ordinary ladders. It seemed like I ended up with 1 workman, doing the work of 2. Conrad only supervised, and brought the man to do the work. My main concern about the work wasn't about what happened on sight. I do have some serious concerns about Angies List, and their involvement in advertising for this work. Angies List advertised with a "specially-priced" coupon: $225 value: $111 for 2 Man Hours of Handyman Service! And made it appear as if it was a half price deal. But it wasn't. Conrad actually charges LESS than $111 for this work. A LOT LESS. But I had already prepaid, so I was stuck with being overcharged. When I asked Conrad about this, he said that the extra charge to ME was for Angie's Advertising! And I really did not think I should be paying EXTRA for something that Conrad would have charged less for, without ANGIE'S " Help" SO WATCH OUT FOR THESE PREPAID "DEALS" that Angies List is starting to offer. In this case, I would consider this "Deal" Fraudulent. Call the company before you prepay, and find out what they USUALLY charge. I would have done much better if I had done that, rather than prepay through AngiesList.

Well they were not able to come to my area so we were never able to schedule a date that worked for us. I think he stated that he did not know why Angie's List would offer such a voucher because I was outside of his usual service area. I WOULD LIKE A REFUND.

It went beautifully. Conrad arrived on time and left a little over an hour later. I had ordered 2 light fixtures online and we unpackaged them. He checked the instructions and installed them. After the first one was installed, I asked that the lamp shades be aimed down instead of up; he changed it and installed the second fixture, cleaned up after himself, offered to take the packaging, which was quite large, with him, we talked about my bathroom remodel, he said he'd like to bid on it. We discussed what I needed, he took notes, we reviewed the job, and I received a bid from him later in the week. He worked quickly and was friendly to my little dog. I'll use his services again in the future and will refer my friends to him should they ask if I know a handyman.

Very professional; really knew what he was doing.

They were just real nice and courteous. They were responsive, and we would use them again in the future.
