I called and he told me over the phone how to fix it. He could have come out and charged me and I wouldn't have known any better. What a great guy! In the future if we have any plumbing issues I will call him again!

He returned our call promptly, he arrived at the time promised, he communicated well (the problem, price, how much time to fix) and he and his assistant worked quickly. In short, he has it all.

In a word, integrity. Before contacting Hunter-Jackson, I spoke with two other plumbing companies. All were obviously experienced, but I liked Hunter-Jackson because they seemed to genuinely want to provide excellent work and service and wanted us to be happy. These guys (Jeff and Keith) are first rate in every category. Jeff, was generous with all information including recommendations of what brand and model of toilet to buy at Home Depot. He answered all questions I had regarding the installation over the phone. He is a straight-shooter whereas some of the other plumbing companies I called made me feel like the money was the only thing that mattered to them. One of Hunter-Jackson's competitors wanted to charge a much higher rate, plus $35 per toilet to haul the toilets off. The same competitor wanted to charge us for every conceivable thing. There were a couple other plumbing issues at our home that I inquired about. Jeff said they could install equipment to improve the temperature of our water at our taps, but that he did not think the improvement would be great enough to justify the cost and he did not recommend it. Great to get an honest answer rather than spend a bunch of money on something that would not make a big difference. H-J did not charge us to dispose of our old toilets and there were no surprises in the final bill. Jeff called ahead to tell us they were on the way which was very considerate as time is important to us. They arrived on time and got to work immediately. They were extremely considerate of our home, protecting the floor with towels and even asked our preference on what color caulking we preferred (they recommended clear compared to white for installation on hardwood floor and it looks great). They were solid in their skill and knowledge of plumbing. Jeff and Keith were both very approachable and easy to talk with. It was refreshing to do business with these guys who were respectful, hard-working and aimed to please. They represent how business should be conducted. A classy company who I will recommend to all my friends and neighbors and whom I plan to use for my future plumbing jobs. By the way, I was told they are family owned and have been in business since the 70s if memory serves me. Highly recommend!

He was prompt and courteous and honest. The problem was a stripped pipe. It could have been a very expensive solution but he worked to solve it without taking out sheetrock in the house. Within an hour it was completed for $135.00 This was the best plumber experience I have ever had. The only time I did not feel over charged.

Everything has turned out great. They are very honest and reliable. They get back with you when you leave a message, and they do good work. I have been very happy with them.

I have been using them for a while. It is a small company. We have had both of them come out for multiple jobs. They seem to be very straight forward and will tell me if they don't know something. They are very honest and do a great job.
