We had Casey back out to our home to take a look at a blind that wasn't closing properly. Something seemed to have been tangled so he quickly identified the problem and it was a simple fix. We ended up placing another order for shades in our master bedroom. They turned out great and keep our bedroom nice and dark. Will continue to recommend to friends and family. Thank you!

I completed the information request on their website. Casey called me the next day and asked that I provide window measures via the website so that a more accurate estimate could be provided. No problem. I did so immediately following our conversation. I never heard back from him. I even left him a message on his phone two days later. No response. Total lack of customer service.

We moved into a newly remodeled home and they were great. They were patient with us and even helped us through the decision making process. The measurements were spot on. A week or so after installation we had a small issue with one of the shades and they came out the next day and fixed the problem. Great folks to work with and it felt like we knew them for years!

A very nice couple John & Gama Milham came out and met with my wife to review choices, and make recommendations. They did all the measuring, we decided to use their services, and the blinds were installed within one week! We are very pleased that we used Houston Wholesale Blinds & Shutters.

I had a great experience with Houston Wholesale Blinds. They came to my townhome when I was available and showed me a variety of great samples. My blinds were available for installation within 3 days! I appreciated their knowledge of the products and the warranty included in the price, which was by far the best price I received. In addition, I felt really comfortable with their salesman and installer. These are men who I would recommend to any of my friends and family. My blinds look great and I hope I can upgrade to shutters within a couple years. I will definitely call them back.

I contacted Houston Wholesale Blinds & Shutters to provide an estimate on plantation shutters for several rooms in my house. Casey came out to the house and measured the windows and provided helpful advice about the types of shutters that were available and how to make a decision among them. He showed us several color samples and was very helpful. His quote was among the lowest we received and it seemed to be a fair price. I tried contacting Casey three times over the past month in order to place an order and left a detailed voicemail each time noting the date of the estimate and advising that I was prepared to place an order. I have yet to hear back from the company. This is very disappointing, as I was pleased with my experience with the Company up to the point where I couldn't get them to call me back.

I was happy with the service. The installers they sent were really professional. We have already recommended them to our best friends.

We had a gentleman named Casey come out to give us an estimate for blinds. He explained everything very well, answered all our questions, and we got an excellent price. The entire process was very easy and quick (our blinds were installed in just under a week). I notified them by email & phone. I let them know I was an Angie's list customer & never heard from them. They may do great work but if you can't get a response who cares?

Overall the representatives were great. Both the husband and wife explained everything to me, took measurements and gave me a fair estimate for prices. We've received several quotes and based on the price and customer service we will use this company. Everything went as planned and will recommend them to anyone we know.

In addition to Houston Wholesale Blinds, I called another company for a quote. They both came out to meet with me and measure the windows. By far, Houston Wholesale Blinds (HWB) was more informative with helping me choose the right blinds and finishes. They were professional, friendly and very responsive. Because of this, I picked them. This was December 2011. I put in the order and was told the plantation shutters would take about 8 ? 12 weeks and the wood blinds would take about six weeks. The wood blinds did come when promised. They were put in by a professional who did a good job. Once the installer left, I did see a few mistakes but John at HWB came back out to look at them. They were fixed to my satisfaction and I continued to wait for the plantation shutters. And wait. And wait. Twelve weeks came and went but apparently the shutters were being shipped from China. The Chinese government shut down the manufacturing plant so that was going to push my installation back. In addition, this all went on during the Chinese New Year so that was going to make the delay even longer. (Since the Chinese New Year happens at a set date, I am not sure why this excuse was used.) April 2012, came and went and I still had paper treatments where plantation shutters should have been. John at HWB was really good at giving me updates throughout this ordeal. Unfortunately, the update was always ?We are working on this. We are sorry for this delay.? Most of the blame was placed on China. Near the end of May, I received all but three contoured shutters. For all the hassle of having to wait and go without blinds, I was told I would get a discount of $500. I thought that was a nice gesture. The shutters were put in and there were a few imperfections. I told HWB this and they stated that when the contour shutters are installed, they will take a look at the imperfections and fix them. By now it was July 2012. From time I ordered the shutters from HWB to July, I saw a neighbor?s house built (from start to finish), I saw the neighbors move in, and I saw the installation of their beautiful plantation shutters. By then I was told that my contoured shutters would be ready at the end of July but I really didn?t receive them until the beginning of August. I will say that I now have the blinds and as promised, the imperfections were fixed and the quality seems great. John from HWB even came out to clean some shutters that had residue. My house is lovely and I am happy with the final product. (In July 2012, I called another company to get a treatment for a glass door. (We were originally going to replace the door but decided not to.) This company had a turnaround time of ten days from start to finish. Ten days!!! They were professional, honest, credible and had an excellent product.) Although I love my window treatments and I think I have a quality product, the delays I experienced with HWB was disappointing. I will say they were always willing to answer my questions, they were always available and when the products were delivered they had good service. However, eight months is a long time to have to wait for blinds.

Everything went great. The blinds were installed to our satisfaction and are a big improvement.

Casey was very knowledgable and gave us his recommendations for cellular shades and we got the top-down, bottom-up feature which is really nice. He took our measurements and emailed a quote later that evening. You can't beat the prices he quoted and total turnaround time was less than 1 week from placing the order to having them installed. It's great to finally have window coverings on our front windows, and love being able to manipulate the amount of light coming in with the top-down, bottom-up feature. Plus the blackout feature on the shades in the bedroom is amazing - it's like a cave in there! We're very happy with the end result and highly recommend Houston Wholesale Blinds & Shutters.

Casey returned my call within an hour and gave me an over the phone estimate for new window treatments for a rental unit. At the time, we had contractors at the unit, and it was two weeks before I called him back to meet and measure. He was there waiting on me ten minutes before the appointment time. I explained that my new tenant was due to arrive the following Thursday and asked if there was any way he could turn the job around in five business days. Casey had the blinds ready to install a day early, and, again -- he beat me to the job site. His punctuality is impeccable. I left my office, met Casey; he installed two sets of blinds, and I returned to my office within one hour. There will be no hesitation the next time I need blinds for another rental unit or in my own home!

It was a wonderful experience. The owner and a partner came out and measured all the windows I needed new blinds for. They were delightful to work with. Once the blinds came in, (A week) they called and set up an appointment for their installer to take down the old blinds and install the new blinds. He showed up on time and did a great job. I love our 2 inch blinds with custom molding for 19 windows we ordered. We also had two custom window treatments in a arch that turned out beautifully. I would highly recommend this company to do your blinds! I have referred them to a friend of ours who is re-doing their home and was looking for a company that has nice blinds and shutters. T. As a novice to window treatments, I really appreciated the solid help from Casey. He was super responsive, answered all my questions, and gave me quotes for all my treatment "scenarios." The blinds and shades I chose wound up being pricey to me, but since I'm pretty ignorant to the market, I don't know if that is a fair assessment. I will say that the 10% Angie's List coupon was a definite plus. Thanks again Casey, I will be back.

I emailed this company yesterday mid-morning, & filled out a complete "free estimate" as directed on the web site.Heard nothing back. Called the number provided 2 times since then asking them to call, and no response. It is now 1 1/2 days later and I am fed up and quitting! I see another customer had the same problem earlier this year. They have shown me they are unreliable in responsiveness with new customers.

Casey is a professional, friendly person and it was a pleasure to work with him. He carefully measured the windows, made recommendations, and was very meticulous during the installation process. Our windows are older and have some challenges with respect to installing the blinds. One of the shades at installation had a non-functional part, but Casey got the product replaced promptly. When it's time to replace window coverings on our other windows, I'd call him again.

It was a pleasure working with HWBS. They came in measured, gave me the best advice for what I needed. The blinds were installed about a week after the order was put in. They made special arrangements to install before my renters moved in and we all really appreciated that. The blinds really made the house look great! If you have blinds installed they have a lifetime warranty if you live in the home which is a great warranty. Unfortunately I rent the house out so it's only a year. But that is understandable. Anyway great experience overall and would recommend them and use them again. Very nice family owned business.

We met with Casey regarding the installation of plantation shutters for six windows and blinds for an additional two. Not only was he very prompt, professional, and courteous - he offered his opinion and options. Within a week, our blinds were installed and a specialist came to take more precise measurements for our shutters. Although it took about 8 weeks to order/install the shutters, we are very pleased with the results. The installer was very professional, and our windows look great. I'm most impressed with how accessible Casey was during the process. He was very easy to reach by phone, and if you left a message, he was very prompt with a return call. We paid for half of the blinds before installation and the remaining half afterwards, and the payment process was easy and painless. I've subsequently recommended Houston Wholesale Blinds to family members.
